Hi, I’m new to posting on here! Can anyone help with my ovulation tests. I just don’t get them at all, unless I’m testing too soon and need to hold out a day or two xx

@Lcc5261 my numbers look like this on premom too. I just ignore the numbers and look at the line progression then go in and set my peak manually. I’ve had lines exactly as dark as the control in real life and only got a reading of 0.25 on premom, a lot of it is to do with lighting of the photo.

@SarahB88 ahh thank you! I’ve not used it before so thought I’d give it a try. I did wonder as some of my lines have been good.

@Lcc5261 yeah I was worried too but one of the lovely girls on here said it’s a common problem for the app to not pick up the test properly. You can also try closing the app and taking another photo in different light.

I also check for what my cervical mucous is up to and any ovulation bloating/pains so that I know it all matches up x

@SarahB88 yeah for last 2/3 days I’ve had egg white CM, cramps and tender boobs so I do think I’ve ovulated but this is my first cycle ttc #2 after coming off the mini pill so I’ve no idea what my cycle is like atm x

This is all a bit eeek but I'm going to join in here. We've decided that we're going to start trying this month for our first. I'm 35 and a little overweight so I'm betting it might take a while.

So I should ovulate around 26th.

This whole thing is a new world to me!

@Lcc5261 I think the apps just not picked up your peak properly then like me. I’ve been the same as you and reckon I ovulated a couple of days ago, maybe even yesterday but more likely day before. We’ve just been DTD every other day to cover ourselves. Exciting that we are cycle twinies!

@SarahB88 ahh maybe so then, fingers crossed for us both! We’ve also been doing the same so let’s hope it’s enough 😊

So last night my opk went straight to very positive (1.19 on premom vs 0.24 in the morning, so that was fast.) DTD last night and today I'm having really strong ovulation like cramps so I hope I'm ovulating. Still not seeing a sustained rise in BBT but I'll see over a few more days.
Going to DTD today and tomorrow and hope that covers everything

Weird feelings and trying not to read in to things! I should only be 3DPO based on EWCM and OPKs, however, my OPKs are getting darker again. Started getting dark yesterday and super dark again today, like the same darkness as my peak. My boobs feel heavy with tingly nipples, I’m constipated, bloated, having cramps and feel sick. What on earth is going on?! I don’t feel like this on a normal cycle but this is way too early to actually be symptoms isn’t it?

I thought my OPKs might have been about to peak. But they’ve stayed static. CD14 today.
since coil removal they’ve been 0.11-0.19 consistently. Big rise to 0.47 yesterday and they’ve stayed around that all day yesterday and this morning. Premom is telling me I’ve got low readings but an increased LH on the calendar.

i’ll keep testing throughout today and hopefully see a positive OPK soon!

@abi555 yep I’m in the same boat! I said I wouldn’t cave and test early…. I’m 8DPO and stupidly decided to take a test this morning… BFN nothing! I know it’s early to take a test but I’m impatient and this is our 7 maybe 8th cycle actually TTC. Sooo I have been sulking this morning and telling my husband that I’m all dried up and baron! 🤦‍♀️😂. Urrghhhh why is this so hard! X

Are you sure your body isn’t trying to ovulate again? I have had two ‘peaks’ in one month before and have read it’s because ovulation didn’t happen the first time so your body tries again? X

i’m really sorry i don’t see anything but my eye sight is so bad it’s probably me 🙈 even on the extract i can’t see them.

I honestly have no idea. We’ve been DTD every other day so will just continue that in case that’s what’s happening. I’m not having any EWMC this time like I did a few days ago, it’s just really wet/watery discharge so much so that my pants feel damp, I’m going to have to pop a liner on if it continues. I had insanely wet/watery discharge extremely early on in pregnancy the last time but honestly couldn’t tell you if it was as early as 3DPO. It’s all very strange.

Finally… OPKs are reading high!

Sadly AF has arrived for me so I’m out this month! Will likely ovulate around 20th… I have just ordered a conception cup to see if that improves our chances and also ordered some different vitamins. Here’s hoping doing something different works 😅
