@momofonex I can definitely see a faint line 🤞

MyGardenDaisies · 31/12/2024 08:43

@momofonex Congratulations! 🤗 That’s how my positive looked at around 10/11 mark! 🤍

@MyGardenDaisies how many DPO are you now? Have you done a digital yet? I'm scared to do a digital 😅

KittyFantastica · 31/12/2024 09:21

Hope you were successful with getting your husband to dance @Room4onemore ;)

I can definitely see that one @momofonex Tentstive congrats.

FF has updated my ovulation date this morning to the day I got my peak CD12 (28th), which I believe is a bit more accurate than its previous guess going by symptoms stopping the next day, so I'm 3DPO today. Last December, I was in the exact same boat at this point. I tested for the first time on 04/01; this time will be testing 06/01. I can't believe I've come full circle. Three pregnancies in a year, one of them half way through, and no babies. It's so brutal.

At least the next two days will be busy. After that it's back to work and the struggle will be real.

MyGardenDaisies · 31/12/2024 09:30

@momofonex I think I am 8DPO but I didn’t do OPKs this cycle, so going from discharge and historic average data. Could be 7DPO depending on when the ovulation happened.

I only have tests (digital and non) that are sensitive at 25miu/ml (missed period), so won’t be getting any accurate results until Saturday now. X

I’m not doing any early testing this month after last cycles CP, can’t go through that again so I’m going to hold strong and wait.

I’m very bloated and crampy with my ovulation this month, hope my body’s not popping 2 eggs out 🙈 very possible at my age!

Thomsonetthompson · 31/12/2024 09:57

Momofonex that's definitely a line!

I finally gave in and tested at 11DPO, stark white test. I'd been feeling the same as I did when I conceived my son so was feeling really hopeful but I guess all the bloating/insomnia/cramps are just Christmas overeating!

MrsH26 · 31/12/2024 10:08

I think I’ve completely missed ovulation! 😭
With all the little bleeds I’ve had post coil, my chart looks like I’ve totally missed my peak and it was possibly straight after one of the bleeds!
I stopped OPKs because it lined up with spotting and cycle with coil. But looking at calendar, the higher OPK readings post bleed were 14 days after coil withdrawal bleed.

so frustrating

Oh I didn't even know that was a thing! I mean I know that two eggs are something that some women are more prone to which is why twins run in families, but didn't know it was more likely in your late 30s!
There are no twins in my family but that would be such a blessing to be one (pregnancy) and done. I'm an only child and would really want any child of mine to have a sibling. Losing hope of having two now that I am about to be 36, no babies yet and trying for over a year 😢

CoolSummer89 · 31/12/2024 10:12

Congratulations @momofonex what a lovely way to start 2025. Wishing you a happy and healthy 9 months.

I am 8dpo and Fitbit has thrown me a new thing to obsess about - my resting heart rate is out of range!! (I think it can be explained away by the excesses/laziness of Christmas)

Are you only CD10 today. Or do you think you might be later on in your cycle?

I’ve no sodding idea tbh, I’ve had 3 bleeds since end of November! With coil out beg Dec.
CD10 from last bleed which lined up with potential coil cycle (had spotting whilst it was in situ monthly). Or CD19 (or 4/5DPO) from withdrawal bleed post coil removal

i know it’s very early to be guessing and im being impatient!

Oooh that could be a positive sign 🤞 it must be so hard not to read into it! I’m guessing it’s a bit higher than normal?

I’m 8DPO today too… I have all the usual symptoms that I normally get this time of the month so I think i’m out. I’m not going to test until at least Thursday if I can stay strong 😅 AF due Sunday.

CoolSummer89 · 31/12/2024 10:23

@MrsH26 Hmm might be worth still testing with OPKs each day just to track. I guess potentially you could have had a peak between 23rd to 26th but it's hard to know for certain. All hormones fluctuate a little bit so having a reading of 0.3 doesn't necessarily mean that you have missed a peak, as that's still very low.

MrsH26 · 31/12/2024 10:38

@CoolSummer89
im testing 3 times a day at the moment 🤦🏻‍♀️ the numbers are just getting lower and lower! I keep telling myself I’ve got to be patient! I haven’t even had a proper AF since coil removal yet.
I work shifts so BBT isn’t a realistic option for me to track

Cinnamonbunn · 31/12/2024 10:49

Thinking of buying a test for the weekend. What tests would everyone recommend to use at 9dpo? That’s when I had a positive last time but can’t remember which brand I used.

SarahB88 · 31/12/2024 11:13

Does anyone else find that the numbers generated by the premom app don’t always make sense? My lines yesterday and today are almost as dark as the control yet premom is giving me a figure of 0.25 so I’m just ignoring the numbers and going by how dark the lines are.

CoolSummer89 · 31/12/2024 12:02

@MrsH26 I know it's frustrating, but it is still early from when you had a bleed so as your cycle is still adjusting post-coil it's hard to pin down when a peak would be. I would just test once a day, ideally with your second pee of the day or before you go to bed just to monitor levels. And then hopefully you will either be successful this cycle anyway, or a definitive AF will arrive and then you can be able to track a bit easier next time.

@Kateb149 yes it is only a couple of bpm higher, so nothing major to get excited about. Ugh sending all the love your way 8-10dpo is the woOoOoOrst.

@Cinnamonbunn I've never bothered with early tests, just relied on the cheapies. Although people on here have had early positives with the easy@ home strips. I think the most sensitive are FRER.

@SarahB88 yea premom can go a bit skew whiff. I don't use it anymore, but the hack that others had would be to completely close the app (as in make sure it's not still running behind the scenes) and then take a photo of the strip again in good lighting. If you just take the photo again apparently it remembers it's first score.

Right, I am off to a head, neck and shoulders massage that I made my husband book for me during my last TWW meltdown, saying that I would feel bad at 8/9dpo. 😈

Oh that’s a good idea about closing the app!

I’m all for the self care, enjoy! The month I got pregnant I had 3 massages 😂 can’t fit that in with a baby though.

Currently 4 DPO and I don't know how I'm gonna make the time go, even if I keep myself distracted I can only think about if I'm pregnant haha. I took a test today, very negative 😂 Only first cycle trying, but have wanted this baby for a few years so I'm just very excited. If you have any tips, please let me know <3

I’m 5DPO today, I’m the same as you, first month TTC but wanted for a very long time.

We have been together 15yrs 🙈. I’m refusing to test until AF doesn’t arrive. I’ve put my test date as 11/01. It’s the weekend after AF is due to end.

MrsH26 · 31/12/2024 14:04

@CoolSummer89 thank you for your kind reassurance. Hope you have a lovely and chilled afternoon

Happy New Year to you all 🥳
I'm very confused by when my fertile window is... I'm only on cd9 but started having the fertile cm... Does that mean I'm about to ovulate? It seems too early (I have 28-30 day cycles...) don't want to miss the window!
Maybe I should have done OPKs after all!

Kateb149 · 01/01/2025 09:57

Happy New Year everyone ☺️ wishing us all lots of luck in 2025!

@Sunshine924 I usually get fertile cm a couple of days before I get my peak on an LH test, so 2-3 days before I ovulate. I think that’s fairly common so you might ovulate around CD11-12 which isn’t unheard of! But only you know your own cycles and everyone is different. Do you get ovulation pain at all?

I’m 9DPO today and gave in and tested as we go away for four days today. It was only a premom test but it was negative - I’m not overly surprised but a bit disappointed. I know I still have time to get a BFP though 🤞
