• also had a negative in November and preparing to try again
• trying in November and will be testing in December

So I've done another FRER this morning and it's still positive! Definitely no progression but still darker than I expected it to be at this stage especially considering there's 48 hours between these tests (top one is today). AF still not arrived so I'm thinking the HCG is still too high for my body to realise I'm not actually pregnant? My previous chemicals have been over a lot more quickly than this and it's so frustrating because I feel like I can't move on yet 💔

Looks stronger. I agree with others, give it 48 hours then test again - but I think a positive is a positive?

Are you sure it’s a chemical and you’ve not just had some dodgy tests?

One brand of strip tests that claim to detect 6 days before missed AF all came up negative for me then I got a vvvvf line on a premom strip today but w clear 1-2 weeks pregnant on clear blue digital. I’m going to test with more clear blue tomorrow and the premom strips but AF is now 3 days late so I think I’m safe for now. If I hadn’t have used the premom and clear blue I’d still be thinking there was nothing at all.

@SarahB88 I honestly don't know what to think! I'm not 3 days late myself and have just caved and done another CB digital and it's now positive again?! I'm so confused! Even without the FRER and other tests, I've had positive on CB digital on Sunday evening, negative Tuesday morning and now positive again on Wednesday afternoon?! I'm waiting for the doctors to call me back, going to ask if they'll do blood tests to confirm.

How confusing!!!! Hopefully a blood test will put it all to rest soon.

@SarahB88 so my GP don't do blood tests for pregnancy anymore apparently! Very annoying! They told me to take another test on Friday and if still not clear to phone the midwife booking number they gave me for advice and next steps. So guess I need to wait and see.

I'm slightly concerned my tests seem to be stronger later in the day and have gone down a rabbit hole of researching the hook effect and slightly panicking it might be twins if it isn't leading to a loss 🙈🤣 I just want to know either way now! Feel like I'm in a very weird limbo.

Knocking the caffeine on the head for now just to be safe!

@MummyV2021 no what a faff!!! I thought they would do a blood test for you. Omg imagine if it is twins 🙈 I’m dreading that ours could be twins too so I’ve booked a private early scan at 7 weeks to check. We have twins in the family.

@MummyV2021 I also asked my GP for a HCG test as I was spotting constantly for 4 days and as I’ve had previous losses I was sick with worry about it, just wanted to confirm either way, but they ‘don’t have capacity’ and directed me to A&E if my anxiety was ‘that bad’ 🙄 sorry you’re in limbo at the moment it’s an awful feeling

Morning ladies, I hope you’re well, been a little quiet - been a busy few weeks, had a wedding in the family so it’s been none stop. Something very strange is going on with me. AF came and went as expected, but since it finished my breast have swollen and my nipples have been hurting me. Took a pregnancy test to rule it out and I think I see a vvvvfl, can you please have a look and let me know if my eyes are messing with me? Not getting my hopes up because it’s near impossible that anything could come of it, but my body is up to something

Hello! I would maybe try a different test, the blue dye ones are terrible for leaving evaporation lines🤦🏼‍♀️

First Response are quite good, and they are pink dye. You can get them on Amazon, and I have also gotten them from the pharmacy attached to my doctors.

Oof yes, there is a line there. Fingers crossed!

Caved and tested on b&m cheapie strips this morning which came up with a squinter so got the FRER out and I can't believe it🥲

I took another test this morning, top is Tuesday night, middle is Wednesday morning, bottom is this morning (Thursday). I think I can see progression?

My husband is going to pick me up a Clearblue weeks indicator. Thank you for your responses and advice! I'm being very cautious after my chemical in October Xx
