No LH doesn’t go up again after conception, it stays low throughout pregnancy as its function is to trigger ovulation and that’s not happening whilst you’re pregnant. I’m not sure what this spike for OP means, maybe for her personally she knows her body has this spike when pregnant then it’ll go back down again.

It could be a chemical pregnancy? My cycle is generally like clockwork but 2 times this year my period has been 2 weeks late and I've had pregnancy symptoms. Never tested positive and then had a heavy period. My preg loss counsellor (who used to be a midwife) suggested this was a chemical pregnancy. There isn't much support around chemical pregnancies I'm afraid but it could be worth looking into for your peace of mind?

There is always the chance that you are pregnant and the test isn't positive yet? This happened to my friend who has just given birth to a lovely baby girl!

AF is due on Sunday, I normally start spotting two days before. Nothing yet but still BFN on a test.

Whens the earliest someone’s got a positive test with a 26 day cycle? I’m 10 DPO. Didn’t test until day of my missed period with my daughter so not sure when she would have showed up.

I am doing this at the moment too (drinking with AF and before ovulation). It helps that drinking is less pressured these days and alcohol free drinks are more commonplace. I'm mainlining hot chocolate at the mo for my 'festive drink' 😂

@TruthUnwinding AF came today and it's showing no mercy. Had a bit of hope this month. Gutted as one could imagine. Friday 13th got me good today

@SarahB88 @littlefox90 sometimes LH tests can pick up hcg because they're similar hormones, mine never goes up like this and it went up like this when I got pregnant with my daughter - so for me it's a good sign xx

Ah right so it’s not actually LH rising again. So are the OPKs more sensitive than an hcg pregnancy test?

@SarahB88 I'm not 100% sure how it all works but I've seen it happen loads of times to people where LH basically being at peak again is their first sign they're pregnant! It's obvs not a reliable way to know, but I check in case just for science 😂

@rebecca199 have to do it for the science 😂😂 I might give it a go just to see but I think I’m out this month, just don’t feel pregnant and I think I had a little niggling that I was before I got my BFP before.

I completely ruled myself out this month! I was absolutely adamant I was out! But I just took another test and it's got darker! Fingers crossed for your bfp this month ❤️

@rebecca199 I’ve normally had spotting by now but still nothing 🤞 that’s amazing news about your line progression! When is AF due so you can get confirmation?

Would anyone who's had a few months of TTC share any tips if possible , we've been TTC for 3 months now, first time TTC any tips would be helpful.

I also saw another post where some ladies have setup a what's app group to help other each... Would anyone be interested in that at all??

I scared myself today as been using the wondfo strip tests and my line was a lot less visible than yesterday's vvvfl! But I think I got a dodgy batch as the dye was taking ages to run across the test. Anyway, I did an FRER yesterday morning with FMU and got the squintiest vvvfl on it and decided to do another one this evening. To say I'm more than happy with that line progression between yesterday morning and this evening is an understatement! I'm not going to test tomorrow but will do on Sunday which is when AF is due

@TruthUnwinding thanks lovely! Although my excitement is dwindling today as having some sharp twinges today... so starting to think it might be a chemical. Will see what the test looks like tomorrow

7dpo and tried to do a medichecks finger prick test today to test progesterone but failed when I couldn’t get enough blood! Does anyone have experience of using pgd urine testing instead to see if ovulation has happened? Which is better?

I'm 8DPO and have had nausea for a few days. Today I had nausea really bad and then extreme dizziness. Went for a day out in London and nearly fell over four times. It felt like I was drunk or on some kind of fairground ride. Has anyone experienced this before?

I've been preggers 4 times (unsuccessfully) and never had this. I also have really sensitive boobs, crying at random things and brain fog which are my usual signs. This time I am on the high folic acid and low dose aspirin and supercharged with vitamins so there is more hope than last time. Gonna be a fun week. I don't dare test early!
