Thank you 🥰 trying not to get excited having had a chemical in September. Will be a lovely Christmas present if it sticks though!

8 or 9 DPO and tested this morning, obvz nothing 😂 I’m beyond bloated so will just have to wait and see. I’ve got a 26 day cycle so period due on Sunday so not long to wait. I’ll be due to ovulate next on Xmas day so merry Xmas to us if we’re not successful this time 🙈

Cycle twins!! I'm 8dpo today, have a 26 cycle and also due Sunday!
Fingers crossed we have more luck on tests tomorrow ❤️
My pdg test went up today and LH is also on the rise ... I know it can do this before AF so trying not to look into it too much but hoping a good sign

Aw yay! Is this your first or another that you’re trying for? We’re going for our second, we have a 7 month old daughter and want another quickly as I’m 37 next year. We may want a third at some point so trying to act fast! I fell pregnant on second cycle last time and this is just first go for us this time so not feeling hopeful.

Here’s hoping AF doesn’t make herself known to us on Sunday!!

Hi ladies, I could really do with some advice about something that has been niggling at me for a while now. I haven’t had an outpatients appt for a scan to check that the D&C I had went okay after my MC earlier this year in April. I’ve been on the waiting list for the longest, I’ve asked my doc to no avail and now I’m thinking it may be best to pay and have it done myself because NHS is just stressful. If I were to go private, what type scan or procedure would I be asking for and any recommendation of clinics would be much appreciated. Because we are TTC, but what if things are not okay? Thankyou in advance x

Edited

I've had a private ultrasound scan before, at a place called Marlowe Innovation Centre in Kent. It was about £80. It was designed for pregnancy but I've been there before via the NHS for ultrasound scans to check my organs! It is definitely possible.

Hi all,

I’m just wondering what other people’s thoughts are on drinking alcohol during tww? I’ve been invited to a day drinking/lunch thing this Saturday with friends for a Christmas meet up and we rarely get to do this sort of thing nowadays. I will be 7dpo, that said we haven’t really tried properly this month it was more of a “see what happens” thing, we only dtd on day 1 of fertile window and then on 1dpo, so I don’t think the chances are great anyway. We have also just started with not being careful so we haven’t been ttc long.

My friends are aware and understanding but they will want to drink, do you think I could go and just not drink much?

Just for context I’ve had recurrent miscarriage with a previous partner however have never ttc with current partner until now. I always got pregnant first cycle with previous partner however this was over 3 years ago now and I’m now 32. Earliest I’ve had a positive test is at 9dpo and was faint at that point.

I'm trying not to drink this time around just as an experiment to see what happens. I've not abstained for any other time apart from when I actually got pregnant and those pregnancies didn't work out. AF is due on 21st, so my reasoning is that if my period comes I can have drinks on Xmas and New Year!!

From what I understand it's ok to drink generally when TTC, my friend just delivered a healthy baby and had been on a hen do weekend just before she found out she was pregnant. I think I have suboptimal fertility at the moment so I'm trying out a few things (high folic acid, aspirin, vitamins, no drinking) to see if it helps this time around!

Hi everyone I I didn’t have sex until 1dpo this month as I was ill but I was 5 dpo yesterday and had blood tinged mucus.

Thankyou, that’s helpful, I’m in the West Midlands, I’ll see if I can find something online round my way.

Sounds like it could be implantation bleeding? I hope so, fingers crossed!

Spotting started today cycle day 27 so bang on time for AF soo I think I'm out :( We've really been going for it so it's hard not to wonder what we're doing wrong! Now on month 6. Feeling pretty sad not gonna lie.

So sorry if AF is on her way! I had this month 6 that feeling of such disappointment, the months before I was like it's ok try next month but month 6 hit differently.
Now on month 7, this was suppose to be my fertile week but AF has arrived really early, never experienced this before so no idea what's going on!
Keep going! Flowers

Hopefully this is your cycle 🤞 I’m really hoping it’s quick for us again because I also don’t really want to go back to work after mat leave so if I can make that return as short as possible that would also be great 😂

Still no AF today, cycle day 35 when they should be 26-29 days. Nearly a week late. Tests are all saying negative. Don't know what's wrong.

Thanks @YourAmberDeer yeh I know in the grand scheme 6months is really not long at all (as my husband pointed out today) but it's still frustrating when you want it so badly.

Sorry AF arrived early for you, what a pain! Have you had any children before or this no.1 for you too?

Sorry to hear this, maybe your period is late? I have heard that can happen sometimes, but I'm not doctor! If it was me and it kept going like this I'd chat to the GP. hope you get answers soon!

YourAmberDeer · 12/12/2024 17:46

@Tally89
I know it's frustrating isn't it, I think it's because the more months that pass the harder it becomes.

#1 baby so fingers crossed once AF has been and gone this cycle will be the one. I wish you luck too! Baby #1 for you too? X

Marge35 · 12/12/2024 21:05

5dpo today on cycle 2 of TTC #1 and trying no to symptom spot but blimin' hard! Anyone else out there on 5dpo? I've had little twinges today on the right hand side but I don't think it would be noticable at all if I wasn't looking for it 🙄

Notsure31 · 13/12/2024 08:07

@Marge35 I’m on 6dpo and I was experiencing mild cramps and bloating yesterday, which isn’t usual for that point of my luteal phase when I’m not trying but again it could just be symptom spotting!

rebecca199 · 13/12/2024 08:51

Ladies... so I am 9dpo and I took multiple strip tests that all have faint lines on, they're proper squinters but even my partner could see them so I'm not going crazy!
And this is my LH today.....
Trying not to get hopes up but I think this could be it!!!!
I'm away this weekend with family and we have a cocktail night tomorrow so god knows what I'm going to tell them about not drinking 😅

Do they know your TTC? I normally just say I'm not drinking right now. I only really have a drink when AF is here and before ovulation.

Does LH stay up after conception? Im new to this. On 5th cycle TTC and using the tests the last 3
