Oh @Hen2000 I'm so sorry to hear this. Enjoy your TTC break and Christmas. And yes probably see you on the Jan boards.

@Row23 ah fingers crossed it progresses and sticks 💖

Been waking up very early this week and not been able to get back to sleep, today was 5am. I no longer google "dpo" symptoms as it is always geared to TTC, but instead use "luteal phase" and apparently it is a common symptom of luteal phase. Who knew? Never had that before. Did an HCG test this morning at 10dpo and it was BFN, so kind of resolved myself to being out this month. At least I should get a fertility appointment early in new year. I'll get there eventually 🤞

Hello. CD4. What's does everyone do to enhance your chances of conceiving?

Hi all! Technically not TTC in dec because partner is away. I think I’ve ovulated several days earlier than usual (usually day 15-17, but had positive OPK yesterday on day 12). Also had really strong ovulation pains all day yesterday, started with a sore tender stomach all morning then pain on one side. I sometimes get a sensation around ovulation but not that strong or long - does anyone else get that?

Hello! I only started to pay attention to by body last cycle, in which I also charted for the first time, and last cycle I had what I thought was ovulation pain from the right side and two days later is when I thought I ovulated (because of CM and temp shift, I didn't do OPKs)...And on 7 dpo I had a check up with my ob gyn (not because of TTC, it was coincidentally my 6 month regular check) and there the doctor made a transvaginal US and told me that I probably ovulated from the right side because of the size and amount of follicles.. so I would say it was ovulation pain. This month I had ovulation pain on the left side the day after my OKP peak which according to temp shift was also the day I ovulated, then I had on 3 dpo ovulation pain on the right side, but I guess that was odd and not ovulation pain.. hope this info can help 🫶🏼

Morning all! Hope everyone's well?

11DPO today - had an appalling night's sleep and wasn't able to temp so missing data which always annoys me. At 1am I was convinced that I was pregnant based on how I felt, but tested this morning and BFN, heart rate has also dropped right down this morning and feeling very much out.

Good news though is that I'm 11DPO and so far no spotting which is a record for me, so that's a big tick to letrozole! Although it does mean that my period will likely start over the weekend which will mean I won't be able to schedule my HyCoSy on CD1 - hopefully they'll still have space for me to do it this month!

Hen2000 · 06/12/2024 05:37

Went to test this morning and period had started.

Next month we will likely be taking a break we have a family event next September where most of my childcare will be 😅 I will likely still join the jan thread if that's OK as I'll still be tracking etc and hoping to see everyone else's bfp!!!

Ohh no I am so sorry to hear this! Wishing you a lot of comfort and peace in the next days to come and that you get your BFP soon ✨✨✨

pcbrb · 06/12/2024 09:04

Row23 · 06/12/2024 05:57

10DPO and I caved and tested this morning as I noticed last night that more of my hair was falling out than usual. With my last pregnancy (which ended in loss) that was the only symptom.
Anyway, there’s a vv faint line. I’m not convinced it’s a positive, it could be an indent etc.
Obviously I’d be grateful if it’s positive but given my lack of symptoms I think I’ll just be expecting it to end in loss again.
I’ll probably test everyday for the next few days now!

Hey @Row23 crossing everything for you that the line progresses and this is a sticky bean! Baby dust ✨✨🫶🏼🫶🏼

Hi does anyone have any idea of a thermometer that is silent? Thanks

Kateb149 · 06/12/2024 09:15

MyGardenDaisies · 06/12/2024 08:31

@Kateb149 😂
I am still nauseous which is not a typical PMS symptom for me, other than that not much.
I will test with the 10miu/ml sensitive tests soon but I'm only 8/9 DPO and I've read that the median HCG at 9DPO is only 4min/ml, so it is too early to test really anyways, even for FRER.

How are you ? X

Well that’s a positive sign 🤞 and a very typical pregnancy symptom!
I know, I read all of the same stuff and I know it’s too early but I still end up testing at 8/9 DPO just because some people do get BFPs 😅 it’s worth doing if it’s going to put your mind at ease ☺️

I’m doing okay, i’ve had typical bloating and sore boobs and spots which is very typical for me before AF so i’m expecting it to arrive on Sunday. Our next chance will be 20th Dec now which feels really weird because that’s the last chance in 2024! X

That’s so odd, i’ve had the same thing this week and didn’t know that was caused by luteal phase! I’ll have to see if it happens again next month 😅

Sorry to hear you got a BFN 😕 I haven’t tested since my BFN either as i’m convinced it’s not been our month. Hope you get an appointment in January and get some answers 🤞

pcbrb · 06/12/2024 09:25

Good morning ladies, sorry to hear about the BFN and wishing luck for all testing the next days 🫶🏼 and with the BFN we are not out until AF shows 🙏🏼

Update from today: my lines are getting darker :) so I made an appointment with my ob gyn to draw some blood and that would be on Friday next week.. so I hope the little bean is a sticky one and is there next week 🙏🏼✨

Here you can see my line progression so far, 11 dpo today

2dpo and feeling ok so far, hoping to keep busy and not test too early this cycle.
Congratulations to all who have got their December positives x

Renee33 · 06/12/2024 09:38

Congrats @KT199 & @pcbrb so excited for you! Hope you lines continue to progress!!!

@CoolSummer89 I also had no symptoms in the lead up to getting my BFP for my second son. So could be a good sign 🤞Fingers crossed!

Feel like I'm no getting started, my period is over so just waiting to get into my Fertile window Smile

What prenatals is everyone taking?

Thank you, I’ve had a convincing clear blue this morning 😊 and my cheapie seems to be darker than the other day. My period is also late too now so that’s abit reassuring on top.

I was taking:

  • Metafolate
  • COQ10
  • Magnesium
  • Omega 3
  • Vitamin C
  • Vitamin D

MyGardenDaisies · 06/12/2024 09:52

Took the cheap one and then though f it, and did one of the FRER too and stark white.
I'm feeling sad that it's likely going to be another month at least of trying and my peak will literally be on Christmas..

I know I say it to others here that 8/9 is so early, even for the FRER, so trying to keep some hope until Monday when period is due.

OP posts:
MyGardenDaisies · 06/12/2024 09:55

@Renee33
I take CoQ10, B, D, Inositol, Prenatal multivitamin, Folic Acid, Agnus Castus, Magnesium, Omega 3 and in follicular phase Evening Primrose oil, and for natural hormone balancing seed cycling.

However when I got pregnant 1st cycle with my baby, I was only taking Pregnacare

blackberryhill · 06/12/2024 10:17

@MyGardenDaisies When I conceived my son I didn't get a positive until 11DPO (on a FRER, and it was super-faint) - tested daily from 8DPO, so could definitely be too early still!

MyGardenDaisies · 06/12/2024 10:45

Thank you @KT199 @blackberryhill ❤️ i think although it's been now 4 months, I am still coming to terms that this is not as quick as getting pregnant first try with our first born.

can anyone see too? I put a filtered version of the test below to show where I mean I see something 😂 do tell me if I’m making it up haha

CoolSummer89 · 06/12/2024 11:25

Just a random thought. Have a bit of a cough so having a herbal tea which includes echinacea. Which reminded me of the time I accidentally got pregnant when I was 21 (almost 15 years ago now).

I was not expecting to be pregnant at all, I was on the pill. But I had woken up a few days in a row at about 4/5am really needing to pee. I said to my bf at the time that I thought I must be pregnant because something felt off. I went to Boots and I had the beginnings of a cold, so I bought a pregnancy test and some echinacea. I remember the pharmacist saying, don't take the echinacea if you're pregnant. Anyway, the test was negative so I took the echinacea. Then two days went past, I still felt off and I took a digital which said 1-2 weeks so I must have had symptoms very early. Also thinking about it now, the cold was probably also a symptom!

I think a lot of us who have been pregnant before think about what our symptoms were at the time, especially if they were very obvious. I think that's why I get a bit frustrated in the TWW because I feel like I would know, but then I also will just trick myself into believing anything.

MummyV2021 · 06/12/2024 11:28

I'm not sure I can see anything sorry @MyGardenDaisies but you're still so early! Sounds like your symptoms could be promising so will keep everything crossed for you!

@Marie1990x how are you doing at 5DPO?? I'm still getting twinges on my left side (the side I ovulated on) which is so unusual! I'm starting to wonder if I'm still bloody ovulating hahaha! Trying not to get my hopes up that it means anything in the slightest!
