how is everyone getting on? Not getting notifications and it’s been a busy few days so catching up now.

Haven’t had my peak yet, but very nearly today so will probably happen tomorrow. Cramping and more CM so I’m hopefully I do ovulate this time.

SMEP is going quite well so far, doesn’t seem a chore yet like it has in the past. Hoping I get my peak soon so it doesn’t begin to feel regimented 😂

@Marie1990x that’a good! We tried that one month and did SMEP nearly with the exception of the last day I think, and it just got too much lol

I am good, feeling very hopeful. I’ve been Black Friday shopping and seeing lots of deals on some of the supplements I’m taking etc., and been in two minds to get them or not, as I hope I won’t need to take them. Ended up going with a hopeful heart and not buying.
I rather have a hopeful luteal phase.

Got to 10dpo and caved. IC bfn.
It's still early and I'd counted myself out this cycle anyway after almost missing fertile window entirely with an early peak.

But it's not over til AF arrives so who knows I may get surprised.

Hey everyone! Late to the party but was on the Nov TTC thread and remember @MyGardenDaisies - thanks for starting another thread!

Tried in November but nothing - I did clear blue OPKs and caught my LH surge but we were on holiday with family and dtd on day of surge but not after... So I think I jumped the gun and were a bit premature!

Caught LH surge on first day of testing this month so maybe I ovulated early?
Either way we dtd few days after the LH surge so hopefully that did it!

Any thoughts on this or can explain OPKs and best time to dtd please feel free to share!

Was so uplifting to see so many BFPs in the November group - let's hope we get lots of early Xmas presents!

@MummyV2021 still confused! Thank you for checking in. I've had BFN again this morning ... I wasn't expecting anything this month as I got thrush bang in the middle of what I thought was my fertile week and that put a stop to ...ahem... more banging but AF isn't due until the 5th (I think) so we'll see.

@Kateb149 I also feel like I'm getting to know my body again after so long with mirena coils. I have been taken by surprise by the headaches, SPOTS, mood swings and aches. I'm not sure I noticed it all so much when I was a teenager

How long is your average cycle? The CB OPK instruction has a chart which says on what day to start testing depending on the length of your cycle.

the first day you would then get an empty circle ⭕️, as the device registers your baseline LH levels.
Once the LH starts to rise, it will flash a smiley face 🙂 and then obviously you have seen the peak static smiley.

Apparently it’s the 3 days before peak, peak day, and day after peak(ovulation day) that are most fertile, so you might have covered it! Sperm needs to be there already to “meet” the egg.

My cycles have been all over the place since having my last baby in Jan., so at this point I could be 1DPO, or I might not have ovulated yet although I have a feeling I have. We shall see! I will probably test around 14th Dec if AF hasn’t arrived yet.

We are only on our second cycle this time around so not getting too obsessed with tracking yet (not sure how long that will last).

Really enjoying watching this thread and feeling less alone through it all :) sending baby dust to everyone!

I always found with CB ovulation tests that they would show the static smiley quite early, and it would really be the next day I’d get my peak and then ovulation after that. I used to use the cheap strips as well as the CB and found the cheap ones more accurate

Oh no 😅 I am exactly the same but have found my hormones have come back with a vengeance the last month or so! I was tearful yesterday too over nothing 😂 I feel sorry for our husbands!

Oh my god I’m glad I’m not the only one 😅but sorry to hear you’re going through it too! I’ve read some people liken it to a ‘second puberty’ and that’s what mine feels like! Spotty, migraines have come back and just so emotional. When did you have yours taken out?

@CoolSummer89 I do think testing in the 2ww can help make us feel like we are doing something other that waiting! I wish I could be one of those who is very laid back but it turns out I'm not 😅

@MyGardenDaisies @BGxxx - thank you! I thought I understood it all as I used OPKs last time round and got pregnant first cycle but perhaps that was just a fluke!

I used the same opk holder from last cycle... So I wonder if that messed things up but I did read you could use the same one again!

My last cycle was 28 days so I tested on CD11 as per the instructions and to my suprise no ⭕ and instead a smiley 😊 face! So we got to it!
My Flo app said I would ovulate Cd 14... I think OPK brought that prediction 1 or 2 days earlier ... Not hugely off but yeah... Hubby is on holiday now so nothing I can do now anyway! Let the 2 week wait commence!

I'm guessing I'm 2DPO - anyone else?

got my peak this morning. I don’t usually test first thing with OPK’s but the ovulation symptoms were strong yesterday and almost peak opk so didn’t want to miss it. DTD last night as part of the SMEP, but now means it’s another 3 days so 4 consecutive and I don’t know if I can physically do it 😅

How much darker do these get or is it likely this will be my peak? I'm going to test again later and obviously twice again tomorrow but never properly tracked with these before and have no idea what I'm looking for 🙈🤣 DTD last night and planning to try every day now for next few days just to cover our bases!

@MummyV2021 I think when the T line steals from C line, it’s a peak.

@MyGardenDaisies thanks I thought so too so I guess this is probably my peak then! Will keep testing to confirm but guess I'm going to be ovulating earlier than I expected this month - so glad I decided to track!!

@MummyV2021 definitely would say that's a peak! I've never seen a 2. Something test before!

Hi @Marie1990x I'm feeling OK about being perpetually on the TTC boards, I feel like a wise old sage now  How are you getting on?

And yes @Hen2000 I def think testing is the best course of action for me. Otherwise I just try and second guess all the signs. I had my eye on a Mira fertility device for so long but they are both expensive to buy and the strips also expensive. Saw one on Vinted and just decided to go for it and treat myself. Actually amazing to see all the hormone levels in detail. So I hope this will hope TWW anxiety as I'm 4dpo today.
How are you getting on? Did you say you were nearing end of cycle?

Oops I just looked at what my due date would be and it's the same day as my SIL's wedding! I have been trying so long I don't even think about due dates anymore.
Oh well at least that will be a silver lining if I'm not successful this month eek!

Im just thinking I should take advantage of the Black Friday sales and stock up on my supplements. Thinking weather to get the pregnacae conceive or pregnacare pregnancy. I’m a big believer in putting out what you want to receive which is pregnancy but then there’s a side of me that’s like don’t be presumptuous.

And it’s not like you can buy both because one will definitely end up being a waste.
