Definitely see a line @MrsMermaid !

@ljb23 sorry the blood test came back negative! Ttc is such a mind mess after conceiving easily in the past. I was also going yo say I recently had a friend not positive until 16dpo but I'm assuming the blood test is more accurate even though you are early.

Cd26 5dpo here! My boob's feel a bit tender today but I'm sure I may be imagining it 😅

MyGardenDaisies · 29/11/2024 10:36

Morning! I am finally 1DPO!
I did use my last Clear Blue test now that it had been 48h since peak and it had reset itself, and it came up as peak again, but the test was very flooded.
I still have EWCM, but think we are done trying 😄

I’m 4DPO and mine are a bit tender too 😅 but I had the same a couple of cycles ago so I’m trying not to read into it!

@MyGardenDaisies glad you’re finally through the fertile period 🥳 you can relax a bit now and let nature take its course 🤞 x

Aprilsunnyday · 29/11/2024 11:14

Hi I am joining this group too :) happy Friday everyone. 🎉

I am ttc no. 2 cycle no. 3,
had a chemical in early October. Was happy and sad, we have realistic expectations as I am older for ttc at 42!
Currently 4dpo ,we only managed one time this cycle. So let's see!! 🍀

Aprilsunnyday · 29/11/2024 11:22

Been following the Nov for a while and wanted to say @MyGardenDaisies 🍀🍀🍀 for this month! 🙂

MyGardenDaisies · 29/11/2024 11:47

@Aprilsunnyday @Kateb149 thank you so much you lovely ladies 🤗❤️ best of luck to you too too!

I am very grateful for this community and joint female experience of trying for a baby, as rollercoaster of emotions is just not the same for a male!

We would likely be due to test around the same time! Keeping my fingers crossed for you! When is your period due?

I don't normally ovulate so late the app has pushed my period to dec 8th as that's 14dpo but my cycles are not normally that long

Same for you lovely 🤞 let’s hope this month is our lucky month!

My AF is due 8th Dec too according to my app! But will likely start 7th Dec if it’s the same as my other cycles. The TWW feels like it’s dragging already 😬 when do you think AF will arrive if you usually have a shorter cycle? x

Normally I ovulate a little later about day 19 with cycles of 32 days. I may start testing a little early as I'm awful at waiting and I have loads of strip tests that have come with my ovulation tests 😅

Do you test before at all?

Oh i’ll definitely be doing the same as you 😅 I have quite a lot of easy @ home test strips and I usually test around 9DPO even though I know that’s really early! I used up all my early response ones last month though 🤦🏼‍♀️

Do you usually symptom spot too or do you manage to keep quite relaxed?

MummyV2021 · 29/11/2024 13:27

Eek! Keeping fingers crossed for those of you now in the TWW!! I'm on CD12 today and probably a few days before I ovulate! I'm now tracking with OPKs consistently so will be good to see how that plays out this month and whether my assumptions have been correct. Been DTD every other day last few days (including today) and will probably do every day over the weekend!

@MrsMermaid I def see the lines!! How are you getting on??

WishfulMouse · 29/11/2024 13:29

Hi ladies, TTC newbie here! I’ve been reading this thread for weeks but thought I would jump right in to support everyone else in the same boat 😊

I’m TTC#1 and on cycle 2 (although we didn’t track ovulation last month so could have been way off). Currently on CD20 and 7DPO. I got a peak smiley face with Clearblue 4 days earlier than Flo predicted, but we DTD O-3, O-1, peak day and following day so I’m hoping we’ve caught it. No symptoms so far, and I can’t think about anything else so feel like I’m stressing myself out of the game.

Sending you all lots of love, it’s a wild ride! 🤍

It took 6 months to conceive when I came off birth control which unfortunately was a mmc. But I was obsessed with symptom spotting my periods were all over the place! My eldest and middle sons were both first month tries. My middle not even planned it was just the first time we didn't use protection after my eldest 😅

With my current youngest we had a couple of months of not trying but not preventing. Then a month with a chemical pregnancy and we decided we would really like a third. I conceived the next month.

This time around it's been very strange this is my third time ovulating(since early summer) but only first real period cycle since I've stopped breastfeeding so I feel I've been really trying to tune in with body signs. Over the past 11 years we have only don't natural family planning which has worked well for us

So sorry to hear about your mmc and chemical ❤️ but glad to hear the natural method has worked for you in the past and you have three little ones! Hopefully once your hormones have settled a bit from stopping breastfeeding you’ll be more in sync with your body and be able to tell when you’re ovulating and what’s normal/not normal for you during your cycles.

I had my mirena coil out in May this year, but we didn’t start TTC until Aug (although I think we missed my fertile period that month!). But I feel like my hormones are still getting back to normal and I haven’t been off contraception properly for 15 years so i’m really learning my body again too! I had a BFP a few years ago which was a complete surprise as I was on the pill, but unfortunately ended in mmc… but because it happened accidentally I just stupidly assumed it would happen quickly for me 😅

blackberryhill · 29/11/2024 15:57

Hello - hope it's okay if I join this one? TTC #2, Cycle 10 and my first ever letrozole cycle so obviously my hopes are sky high. Currently 4DPO, we had good luck with timing this round so feeling all round fairly positive.

Due to have a HyCoSy next cycle if this one doesn't work (subject to my husband's repeat semen analysis on Tuesday showing signs of improvement - first one showed low morphology but other parameters good) so would be nice to not have to go through that again and to save the cash!

Row23 · 29/11/2024 16:01

I think I’m 3DPO going by what Premom is telling me. I’ve not had any ovulation symptoms other than a peak on my tests. Normally I can feel something on one side when it happens. Maybe I missed it with being a bit busier than normal this week. Normally after ovulation my boobs get tender but that hasn’t happened either. Who knows, but not feeling super positive for this month just yet!

I'm sorry to hear about your mmc too. I definitely think it can take the body a little while to get into a rhythm after birth control and again after breastfeeding too.

This will be the first time trying to conceive in my 30s aswell I just turned 33 and ideally would like to have our last by 35 so it's not a huge age gap with our others.

Keeping fingers crossed fot us both this month! Thinking how wonderful it would be to find out before Christmas!

Definitely, but we will get there ☺️

I turn 32 in December so I know how you feel! For some reason I feel like there’s time pressure even though all the women in my family haven’t had kids until their mid-30s.

It would be amaaazing to have a Christmas surprise 🙏 I have everything crossed for you 🤞 x

I am naturally a very laid back person however at dinner I just cried as my husband didn't cook something right 🙃😅 very unlike me! Definitely a little hormonal tonight I just hate the waiting to find out if it's period or a baby causing it 😆

Confusedmermaid1 · 29/11/2024 17:33

Had my highest ever peak on an opk this morning.. don’t know if it means anything in particular though! A bit gutted we only managed to DTD last night as DH has been ill so going to try and DTD tonight and tomorrow I think and just hope for the best..
Trying to remain hopeful as the last time we conceived we only managed twice in that cycle.. LP has been short since MC so hoping that doesn’t affect us conceiving 🤞🏼 app has period due 10th Dec so will try not to test before then but who knows 😅 managed to resist buying early response tests so far but have some easy@ home from the ovulation kit

Hen2000 · 29/11/2024 18:30

@confusedmermaid1 definitely only need the one time 🤞

MyGardenDaisies · 29/11/2024 18:38

My period is due on 9th, so there’s quite a few of us waiting for the same dates!

Hiya, I know loads of you from the November thread. Been a bit quiet because a) my laptop broke and b) I lost my mind during the TWW last time. I tried not to test and I think that made it SO much worse. Going to buy some cheapies this time and just test from 7dpo, so I don't spend my whole time symptom spotting.

I thought I was 1dpo today but saw some EWCM this afternoon. Does anyone know if EWCM can appear after ovulation? Dr Google is not being very helpful!?

Have caught up with this thread, will try and be more present over the next week. 💖
