Hey girl! Why don’t you just DTD a few times after 10 or so days without sticks or “trying”? That’s what we did and had a successful result. Then you’re not trying! 😀

I’m actually ok, our girl @KT199 has been so helpful and i truly believe in the timing of the universe. I did spend a lot of time googling can I get fired for starting a new job in the same company pregnant so that bit is a relief. I’ll have been in role for at least a year now whatever happens! Our poor friends weirdly had an ectopic exactly the same scan day which is much more serious. Plus everyone I’ve told had the same thing!

I feel positive and ready to get back on the horse in probs March time (need to wait for a cycle then will prob try the one after)

Honestly our bodies just love to play games I’m convinced of it @Lila34830 😂😂 I had the most normal 28 day cycle, ovulation CD14/15 every month UNTIL it realised we was TTC and then it was like Urm actually girl, this month im gonna go with CD19 and you can get annoyed instead 😂

I’m doing okay too, taking every bit of positivity I can find out of this process, having a bit of time to get back to me and not needing to worry about TTC and just going to focus upon being a healthier version of myself because whilst I’m normal weight and exercise.. I eat so much junk 🤣 and let me tell you I am not normally a drinker but on this holiday I have drank more than enough so be glad to get back to not doing that anymore..

I hope all the dinos are getting on okay and are managing to be happy and positive and enjoying life ❤️

I am focusing on my fitness and weight loss and myself in general ! I think I need a couple of months out of the game to be honest ! But it is extremely frustrating to see my body looking really up for welcoming a baby 🤣 couldn't have done this earlier !

Update from me, I’m currently 10 weeks but had some more spotting and pain (not period cramps weirdly) so scanned by EPU again. Baby is wriggling around but I have a small subchorionic hematoma which will hopefully reabsorb itself but still a worry… nothing is ever easy TTC & beyond is it?!

Happy to hear it is hopefully nothing too serious, my friend had a really large one it surrounded almost the full sack but everything was fine, despite the worry caused, and she has a happy healthy almost 1 year old little girl now! I’m sure you’ll have the same happy ending !

I’m back for a follow up scan Monday, as I may have retained products as my tests aren’t lightening. However, trying to stay positive as it just could be my hormones not coming down very quickly!! I have lots to look forward to over the next few months, I get married in April so TTC is defo paused but CANNOT WAIT to tie the knot and enjoy the newlywed bubble!

I've been completely neglecting this forum!
Have just caught up, @KT199 I'm so so sorry to read what you've been going through but CONGRATS on your upcoming wedding!! I just got married in July and im still in that little bubble its amazing ❤️❤️

I hope everyone is doing well with what stage they're at. I haven't been bothering with TTC as we've spent the last month moving! All settled now and can maybe start to think about it but I don't think im going back to what I was doing, tracking everything so strictly etc

We DTD round about predicted ovulation this month but it was only one time on a random day so I cant imagine it'll stick 😅

Hi girlies, I missed this chat !

I hope everybody is ok 🩷 I'm literally never on there appart from when someone messages on here 🦕
I had a scan yesterday and it showed a dominant follicle on my right ovary that was ready to pop and release an egg. (I wasn't really going to the scan for that reason but I thought it's a sign!)So we decided to DTD yesterday and tomorrow against all odds. If it doesn't take we will wait until after summer!

@KT199 hope your scan was ok ? Congratulations on your wedding ! 🩷🩷🩷

Ahhh thank you everyone ❤️ I’m very excited about getting married I just want this horrendous experience over with.

My scan has showed retained products so feeling pretty frustrated in all honesty, but there’s a plan in place now for a second surgery Friday and I’ve had the tablets in the meantime to see if my body will react to them but doesn’t appear to have done anything. After a lot of crying and begging they agreed I didn’t have to wait 3 weeks after the surgery to be checked, so booked me in on Wednesday to have a look so fingers crossed this resolves it.

@KT199 I can't wait for this to be resolved for you too. I'm so glad you have an amazing wedding to look forward to, with some drink involved !

I had surgery last Wednesday after an horrendous local experience and as @KT199 counselling oh my goodness the hormones are all over the place and I cannot stop crying! It’s awful!

I have to wait another two weeks then do a pregnancy test for a BFN, then wait for the period cycle to come back. Can’t even think about DTD to be honest. At least everyone I tell has had a MC which has made me feel slightly better (but don’t know how people function crying all the time 😂)

Thank you for the " popping follicle" (sounds so funny said like this). We only DTD yesterday and today, as I don't have it in me this month either. I'll definitely be happy
To have a break until summer if this cycle doesn't work.

I hope everybody's well, recovering, growing, taking a step back, I feel like end of 2024'has thrown massive curveballs at all of us.

I wanted your opinion. As you know this month I had not planned on ttc and then on cycle day 16 (Monday) went for an ultrasound and the lady said I was about to ovulate within 24/48 hours as I had a dominant follicle measuring 15mm.
We DTD Monday and Tuesday. Decided not to yesterday as technically sperm regenerates every 3 days + 2 DTD sessions would be enough. BUT.
Monday morning I had ONE ovulation test left (because I had not planned on tracking) and I took it and it was negative. Quite low, my usual LH level around 0.2/0.3
However Monday Tuesday I had plenty of ECWM.
I decided to order more tests given that we are giving it a shot this month. I received them yesterday evening. Went to test my LH and it was almost stark white ! Same this morning! I wonder whether I missed the peak on the strips (but obvs DTD at the right time) or whether my follicle is still growing. OBVS none of you can tell me, but I don't know whether to DTD and keep on tracking, or whether to trust the EWCM and timeline. I feel like peeing on strips for another 2/3 days is going to trigger me tbh as I don't want to approach this month like this. I also have no more EWCM, it stopped yesterday, leading me to think I ovulated.
This is probably the longest message I've ever written on here I'm so sorry for the novel but I just wanted to know what the Dino club would do ☺️

I think if you thought it was a sign and to TTC and did cover when the sonographer said I would trust the universe in that, that was your window of opportunity if you don’t want to get too caught up in the peeing on a stick. Your other option is to just DTD today “just in case” and cut the peeing on a stick out to save the stress too. I’d probably go with the latter.

I think testing and not finding a peak is most likely what’s happened as your LH surge is meant to be 24-48 hours before your ovulation. I’ve read a lot around follicles and once dominant they grow 2mm a day and can ovulate from around 18mm but could also grow a little more. But this would still be in line with what you was told on Monday. Fingers crossed for you 🫶

Thanks so much for your advice @KT199 I think we will DTD today just in case as you said, and that will be plenty then !. I feel like I probs missed the peak as I didn't test for 2 days but equally I am questioning whether the peak will happen later as my cycles aren't regular ! Arggg.
I think I'll trust the universe, and my body, as this morning I have creamy discharge (tmi always) and no more EWCM.

I got married last June, you will have the time of your life, it was the best day of my life !

I personally think we can send ourselves absolutely crazy with testing, DTD around the time, the sperm lives for 5 days and it’s all pot luck whether they meet. You know you were about to release an egg (which can still take a few days / hours) and it needs to travel down the tubes etc.

my bleeding is stopping now after my surgery. So im going to delete MN / anything baby related for a bit until I get my period again (4-8 weeks) and hopefully I’ll feel more enthused about procreation once more. Will check in on dinos then! Sending so much sparkly ttc baby dust 💖💖💖

@Lila34830 I would stop testing but DTD, you have nothing to lose by giving it another go.
@Toppstileslover you'll be missed but after all that I think a break sounds like just the ticket. Look after yourself and we’ll see you on the other side. I’m sure I’ll still be here, wondering when I’m ovulating or as I am now, wondering where on earth my period is 😵‍💫

I did an ovulation test just in case and it's very much negative. So I guess we did time it right and I ovulated as predicted by the sonographer ! We shall see...!

I am CD19, I usually peak around 18/19 so I think I missed the peak, unless it's tomorrow but I wouldn't think so since I have no more EWCM!
