Follow up of the two following threads of TTC Baby number 1 🦕🦖

@KT199 oh my god I’m so happy for you!!! 🥰 how exciting!! Little boys are lovely. My son is almost 13 and sooo chill and sweet! Our little girl is very sassy and confident - completely opposite!!

and I’m good thankyou for asking- 32 weeks with our girl. Not sure how much longer I’m going to last mind. My daughter came at 38 weeks. I think this one will be similar due to being a big baby and excess fluid like before. I’m looking forward to it though- I’m struggling I must admit 🤣 got a lot of odema on my legs & short of breath. Had b12 injections for a 2 week course (one every other day) and had a couple of iron infusions so hopefully that helps - but I know I shouldn’t complain!!!

my mind f*ck adventure continues with 3 days of watery light period which started approx at 7dpo (but I can’t be sure because I didn’t track…).
I had absolutely no pms symptoms, then started getting “tingly” and achy boobs for 2 days. Still aching. This morning there is a shadow on a test but it’s not even visible on a picture. (I’ll still attach it for you all). I really don’t think it will get darker and it might be an Evap because although light, my “ period “ was definitely heavier than implantation from what I read online! I am 12DPO I think, so I will test again in a couple of days just in case but I really don’t think this is the case. The only thing throwing me off is my boobs and how they are. Achy now as opposed to before AF. I think I’m wishful thinking here but it feels good to just let it out on the chat 😌

Not sure if I said, I have started my referrals for fertility treatment again which have been so quick 😳 oh yes I did because I was enthralled about frozen embryos

Had my ultrasound this week. I had one before we even started TTC and it was all fine, this time it was CD30 which is normal AF for me, only she was saying I’d ovulated from my left this month then my right ovary had a 1.9cm follicle which was far too big for CD30 (they are 2.4cm when they release can you believe!) and spent a little bit too long asking me about early ovulation which I’ve now googled and worried about as peri menopausal

The appointment can’t have been 10 mins including taking my clothes off but now I’m paranoid

anyway AF then here today two days late so I was convinced the one time we did it was immaculate conception (hence crying @KT199 and we went through our D&C together ❤️)

@HE93C have you got the moving date sorted now? Good luck for the last few weeks 🥹!! I’ve not felt movement yet but think it’s abit early especially with it being my first, I’m 17wk tomorrow.

@Gemmaemilyx hope your still managing okay!! Being pregnant is hard, not enough people give credit to that. And we are made to feel we should only be grateful but easier said than done when you’re in the thick of it! Have they mentioned an early induction to you?

@Toppstileslover awwww stop that you’ll make me cry!!!! Have you heard anymore news about your ultrasound? I really don’t think it’s fair they can make fly away comments it causes unnecessary worry! They should zip it if they aren’t gonna provide a full and proper explanation. Fingers crossed you see some success soon 🤞

@KT199 oh I totally agree, I was in pain in work the other day and a girl struggling TTC eye rolled me I saw. I’m absolutely not not grateful at all- just in pain 🤣🤣 I think they will. I went to my growth scan on 32+6 on Monday and they usually estimate around 4-5lbs and my little one of course has to be an overachiever and estimated 6lb 9oz!! I know they can be wildly out but were spot on for my daughter. So they said they will scan me again at 36 weeks and make a plan of action from there.

They have also said due to her having so much fluid and able to do somersaults, it’s considered an ‘unstable lie’ and they may have to admit me from 37 weeks with a C-section for 39 weeks. That’s because there’s risk of cord prolapse due to the baby’s position. Also having polyhydramnios, more susceptible to waters breaking so they said at least I’d be in the right place in case disaster struck. All fun and games but we’re officially ready for her now 🩷🩷

Hope you are doing well. I think once you feel those kicks and they become more regular the anxiety eases SLIGHTLY 🤣 so I hope you can feel them soon 🤞🏼🤞🏼 xxxx

No not got a date yet 😬 hopefully before the end of this month but who knows - the bottom of the chain are being a pain!

aww yeah I only started to feel flutters around the I think, maybe week 18. If your placenta is at the front like mine was too that makes it harder to feel! Now that I’m 35w tomorrow they are so strong it’s crazy! Can’t wait for you to experience it too!

@KT199 not yet have my GP appointment on the 21st, she was super on it last time and actually I am going to send a message to see if she will respond!

She’s already sent me a prescription for 10mg 😳 folic acid which I’ve just picked up due to low levels on my blood test so I’ll be eating spinach like pop eye 😂✨

glad to hear you ladies are cooking just fine! It’s so weird I’m so stoic usually but for some reason has bothered me a lot more now I’m moved / settled / in my job. I think it’s because it hasn’t happened again yet.

i have 5 friends who have frozen eggs and embryos so im just thinking it’s the same as their process and absolurey no different! And better than waiting 2 years :)

All okay from my side, my 20wk scan was earlier in the week and all went as it should thankfully ☺️

@KT199 aww amazing news! That one I find is a really scary one. So glad it’s going well 🩷

I’m 37+4 and been in hospital since Tuesday and will be until I’m 39 weeks for C-section unless I go into labour naturally beforehand due to baby being in transverse position. Because nothing like a bum or head is plugging my cervix, there’s an increased risk of cord prolapse so they keep you admitted as a ‘just in case’ as it’s a medical emergency - all fun and games!! Hopefully she makes her appearance soon 😊 xxx

@KT199 glad your scan all went well! That’s great news!

all good from my side, I’m due a week tomorrow and we completed on our new house yesterday so it’s been all systems go and very hectic and stressful but there we are haha.

Typically after I messaged I went into labour naturally! Baby was transverse so needed a C-section. Spinal didn’t work so I had to be put via GA.
so our beautiful girl was born today at 00:49. Xx

@KT199 were doing well thankyou! Still in hospital because my section was soooo painful. They said GA ones are worse because the spinal has diamorphine right into the spinal cord whereas I had nothing my throat hurts from intubation too. I’ve only just got up and about today, csections are not for the faint hearted! Little girl (Olivia) is doing fab. She’s under phototherapy for jaundice but drs say she’s responding well and hopefully home tomorrow! 🤞🏼🤞🏼🤞🏼

I probably love it more because we finally got a clear run to start properly trying again, it happened the day I tracked ovulation (I was going away so we only did it once!) I’m 5 weeks 2 days pregnant. Super early days but I am staying so positive and manifesting a heartbeat so very hard 💓💓💓💓

I am 28wks on Saturday, so feels a big milestone to hit that 3rd trimester. We’ve been on with the nursery which is a surreal feeling and have our last weekend away as a 2 booked for a few weekends time.

I just thought I’d check in to see how everyone is doing after a long break! So happy to see so much good news. After a MMC at 10 weeks in June I am pregnant again. 16 DP0 and keeping my fingers crossed!

Massive congratulations @Gemmaemilyxand @HE93C it’s so heartening to see people who started the journey at the same time and now have a baby!

@KT199congratulations too on reaching the 3rd trimester. Must feel good to hit that milestone.

@ToppstilesloverI’ll be checking in for updates! You’re about a week ahead of me. Fingers crossed things go well for both of us.

I’m very nervous after the miscarriage last time so trying not to celebrate too much just yet. I’m having a lot more symptoms this time round, feeling nauseous and bad heartburn, but I know that doesn’t mean it’s a healthier pregnancy!

I very sadly had another MMC at 8w5d this time after seeing a heartbeat. It’s been absolutely horrendous and knocked me sideways. Third time lucky I hope ✨💓 hope is hard to come by but all I have xx
