10dpo for me today I cheated and tested bfn but id been up to the loo a couple of hours before. Anyway I’m going to try and hold out until Friday or even sat (im due Fri) I never tested positive until after a missed period with my other 2.

For anyone interested I’m glossing today and 🤞carpet man is coming to measure up, can’t wait to get the eldest (14) back downstairs in his room so he can game without disturbing me 🤣 for anyone house hunting don’t discount downstairs bedroom they are a godsend with teenagers in the house

Thanks very much @1woodpecker for that information. I am on folic acid and Vit D along with iron and tumeric and zinc for general well being. I may try the coq10 again but the one it recommends in the book you sent over. Also going to cut down on alcohol, positive steps :-)
Thanks again!

LolaJ87 · 11/11/2024 12:04

I’m really sorry to those of you who have had a BFN or disappointing appearance of AF this month. Sending love ❤️

Sorry to keep banging on about this but I’ve included a screenshot of an Easy at Home OPK compared to the One Step ones I was using, done at the same time with the same sample. It’s a shocking difference!

I keep intending to cut down on alcohol but not doing well. Well, I’m cutting down but I’d like to nearly none.

it’s a bit expensive but this is the Coq10 I have (I did have the Boots one before but changed after I read this book)

Oh wow that is a big difference! I do think the easy@ home LH strips are good. I get through a lot 🙈

Row23 · 11/11/2024 12:51

AF has arrived today, right on time. Not too upset just now as it was just our first cycle and I’d only come off the pill in September. My other two pregnancies (one birth, one miscarriage) both happened first try though so it does feel a bit odd that it hasn’t happened.
However, we have a holiday booked for June next year and there’s some interesting work stuff around the same time, so if I had got pregnant just now then I’d be like 36 weeks when away which probably wouldn’t be ideal!
Im going to believe that this cycle will be the one. Should be testing again earlyish December.
Good luck to everyone else this month :)

ThatSnugSwan · 11/11/2024 13:26

So sorry to everyone who got AF or bfn. Im not exactly sure how many dpo as I think I ovulated late this cycle. I do know its too early to test but curiosity got the better of me because my boobs were tender yesterday. I will retest but just wondering if anyone can see what I see or am I delusional haha

I’m in the same boat too :( got pregnant first try my last pregnancy that ended in MC. I was really hoping it would happen first try this time too.
No AF yet (due on thurs) but I’ve had cramping today like it’s going to start. Really struggling today.

Hi Everyone!
Really hope it's okay for me to join this thread!
I'm also TTC this month I think I'm about 8dpo?
I had a weird early period last month so worried it maybe threw my cycle off but we just tried to alternate days to DTD anyway based on my FLO app and EWCM so hoping we still have a chance this month.
I'm super confused I think I ovulated around 2nd or 3rd Nov and AF due the 18th Nov but for the oast couple of days I've had period like cramps and cramps in my lower back. My face has broken out terribly in spots all over and I have had terrible heartburn for days (needed to get tablets for it) generally feeling kinda queasy and bloated every day.
My only signs of AF usually are cramps the day before it arrives and craving chocolate. Never had cramps this early or all these other feelings.
Hoping these might be positive signs!
Anyone else struggling with this TWW so much?
Congratulations to all that have gotten their BFP! Wishing everyone else the best of luck this month! 🥰

Positivity1234 · 11/11/2024 18:55

Hi ladies.
wishing you all the best luck on your TTC journeys! 😊
I'm 31 and TTC baby 1. On our 4th cycle, been off contraception for 18 months (took over a year for cycles to be normal after stopping the injection). I seem to have a short luteal phase (11, 8 & 10days recently). Think this could be an issue to conceive? Anyone else experienced this?
AF due this Friday and not holding out much hope xx

LolaJ87 · 11/11/2024 20:07

@Positivity1234 I have a short luteal phase (about 10 days on average) but had no problem conceiving my son at 34.

Positivity1234 · 11/11/2024 20:13

@LolaJ87 thats great to hear, that gives me a bit of positivity thank you!

Morning ladies! Lovely to see lots of positives over the weekend.
As I prepare for TTC cycle 4, just wondering if any of you use vitamins / supplements to help fertility or if you have heard of success stories from anyone else using them?
I'm using folic acid, I've tried VIT DNA and coq10 but so far not worked and they are expensive, may just try folic acid moving forward?
Also what's your thoughts on drinking when TTC? I don't drink a huge amount but wondering to cut down even more or all together?

I used the conceive plus ones when I had my daughter and this time round I'm using neals yard ones (but only because my auntie works there and gave them to me! defo wouldn't be paying that price tag myself 😂)

I'll be honest, I love a good bev 😂 but since trying I have cut down, I don't drink often but when I do I'll go all out, so rather than going 'all out' I've limited myself to a lot less than normal. And only on special occasions or events (typically I try to avoid it completely in TWW depending on what's in the diary!)

hii, 2dpo x

Still hanging in here, thought I saw a shadow on a test yesterday but tested again this morning and bfn so it must of just been line eyes 🙈 Way to early for me to be testing anyway

Aww sorry to hear that! It's so hard not to test!
I'm only 9dpo but I've every symptom in the book from today (new symptoms today running nose out of the blue, lots of stretchy clear CM and bathroom trouble sorry for TMI!) But even on an early response not even a faint line.
My period isn't due for another 6-7 days though so hoping I'm not out yet.

ThatSnugSwan · 12/11/2024 10:03

@Inked1518 I think Im the same, I had a later than usual ovulation so think Im due AF next Tuesday instead of this Saturday so way too early to even test I just got my hopes up I suppose with symptom spotting. I'll try hold out now and not test unless Im late
