Morning all,
Feeling much better after just allowing myself to test yesterday (BFN). Had a fun day with friends and then saw my mum. I think she tried to give me a birds and the bees talk even though I am 35 and actually she conceived me (her only child) accidentally - so not sure what advice she feels like she can give😅
Welcome @Dereksscrubcap @AudreyJL @Ttcftmama @Jemmy94 @Smileymom @Tryingfor3rd @MrsB902 @MoonDaydream
Congrats @Jologi best of luck for Monday's test too
Yay @sellingupslow - I did think you would be after that huge RHR rise
Oh @Butterflygirl23 I'm so sorry to hear that things are still up in the air. Will keep you in my thoughts 💓
Sorry to hear that AF has arrived @Kateb149 best of luck for next cycle
@rebecca199 I try to have sex every other day the 5 days before ovulation and then the three days after until ovulation is confirmed by BBT rise. I usually get my LH peak the day before ovulation.
When people say that sperm lives up for 5 days that is very rare and more of a warning for people trying NOT to get pregnant. The conditions have to be pretty perfect for sperm to survive that long. That's one of the reasons why it's easier to get pregnant in your 20s because you produce more EWCM which helps sperm live for longer.
But as I've not got pregnant once in the 11 months I have been trying who am I to give advice!
