TTC #1 cycle #1 and I think 2/3 DPO - anyone else want to join the wait with me? 🥰

Hey not my 1st baby nor my 1st month trying but I'm 1/2 dpo. Would love to count down with you. Feels like forever already. Had such a complicated confusing cycle this month. Been messed up since i had my daughter 2 years ago. Mix of breastfeeding and depo. But my opk was Blazing positive and my temps have risen so fingers crossed xx

which OPK’s are you using? I settled on clear blue for this first month so I could make sure I got it right 🙃 have to remember it’s my first month and cycle off the pill so I can’t expect much but still hopeful 🤞

I just use the one step opk strips. Tbh they are cheap at about £6 for 60 and I know they work. They did for me anyways. I haven't had a positive since getting my periods back in August. They were all over the place so I knew I wasn't ovulating. I got a high reading about 2 weeks ago then bled for 2 days so thought I was out. Must have been a small period because the positive I just had was unmistakable. Line was way stronger then the control line and came up instant and they usually take a while to increase and settle. Got everything crossed for us both x

I'm 1 dpo n I've have just started trying for baby number 3 and I'm 34 . So it's a long road ahead for me .

@Kay1578 How long do you think you’ll wait to test? According to my app AF is due a week on Friday so I’ll try hold out until then but I doubt i will!

I'm 35 and although I've been trying since August, it's the first month that I've ovulated. Have everything crossed for all of us x

I'm going to try and wait till Wednesday next week. That will put me at 9dpo. I tested pos with my last at 10dpo. I've not even got any tests in to with hold temptation. Although we all know I'll buy some one step cheapie and be testing from about 6dpo knowing it will be negative 🤣🤣 x

Hi ladies this is my first ever TWW TTC #1! I’ve been tracking and still haven’t had a blazing positive OPK this month, I’m currently on CD19, not sure if it’s just late or I’ve missed the surge. We dtd on the 2nd and 3rd and hopefully we’ll get a chance to this weekend to cover all the bases 🤞🏻 Partner is away this week for work so this late ovulation is stressing me out if we miss the window!

Not sure how I’m going to keep busy for the next two weeks 😂

@OneGladTiger welcome! Which OPKs are you using? Have you been tracking before? I’ve found it all so confusing! 🤞🤞

I ovulated on CD19 when I conceived my daughter but I had 33 day cycles. Not sure what mine are right now. Had a bleed, then another 2 week later, then another 11 days later. Went on to have a normal 33 day cycle. The following was 29 days but I didn't pick up ovulation. This month I got to CD 19 and bled 19 and 20. Then stopped. So don't currently know if I got my positive opk on CD28 or CD10. Either way I'm taking it for the win that I actually got a positive 🤣

So nice to have some company 😊 I started tracking a couple months ago as I experienced an (unexpected) chemical pregnancy back in August. Missed period, positive test but then sadly lost it a few days after. Since then it’s spurred us into realising we’d really like to try properly.

I’m using the premom app with easy @ home test strips, I do find them quite confusing tbh and it’s deflating getting a lot of negatives. I have physical symptoms too which I find easier to track so may ditch the OPKs if they continue to stress me out 😂 I also have the Clue app which I use mainly. Maybe try them for a cycle if you’re struggling to pin down ovulation? 😊

Honestly, with having that weird bleed, I took it on a whim. Purely because if there's a test I just can't help myself. I was actually waiting for AF. I Almost fell over when it was blazing straight away. Came up before the control line. My hubby thought it was his birthday all of a sudden 🤣🤣 x

I started using the clear blue digital - idiot proof for me! 🤣 I got my flashing and then static smiley Thursday / Friday last week and also tracking temp through NC app!

I think we all have to find out what works best for us and keep our fingers crossed!

YES!!! I have super bad heartburn and feel sick but I'm positive I'm just doing it to myself by over thinking 🤣 x

I’m having exactly the same symptoms 🤣 I’ve been having acid reflux which I never usually get and feel a few twinges but I’m absolutely sure it’s just my brain doing it 🤦‍♀️ Feel less crazy knowing it’s not just me 😂 x

@OneGladTiger I convinced myself I wouldn’t symptom spot or anything but here I am 🤣when do you think you’ll test?

@Em3009 I’m going to try really hard to stop symptom spotting as I know it’s way too early! I’m going to try hold out until AF is due which is next Sunday….but more likely I’ll cave before then 😂 How about you?
