TTC #1 cycle #1 and I think 2/3 DPO - anyone else want to join the wait with me? 🥰

Helloo! Do you mind if I join? Cycle 13 TTC baby number 2! Similar situation with cycles being messed up from breast feeding and think this is actually the first month I’ve ovulated! (I think) I didn’t use OPKs as I wasn’t even expecting it and then decided to temp and looks like they did rise! I was sick of using OPKs and getting period before ovulation and having long periods so basically kept losing hope! I either covered the day of ovulation or the day after, so our chances are quite low (especially if the day after) but anyways! Good luck to you all!

Oh forgot to add I’m around 2DPO potentially! Still waiting for my ovusense to confirm ovulation at tgr moment! Hoping it is a day later than what it’s looking like, as otherwise our chances are very low, but we’ll see!
i did previously either have a short luteal phase or just wasn’t ovulating, so if period doesn’t arrive I’ll be testing next Wednesday at 10 DPO! I know I won’t be able to hold out longer than that! 🤦🏻‍♀️

We are holding out till Wednesday too. Fingers crossed for us all x

This is exactly me. Bled twice in a month, then had a "normal" cycle. This month I had a 2 day bleed when I should have ovulated. So I'm unsure of where I am in my cycle to be honest with you. All I know is I got a massive positive opk on the 3rd, which I took just because it was sat there. My temp dropped then rose again. Waiting on another 2 rises to confirm ovulationnon my app but all symptoms point to it actually happening finally. I hope it has for you too. Breastfeeding has a lot to answer for lol xx

looks like we will all be testing at the same time which is lush 🥹 I work earlys on a Wednesday so I’m so tired this morning and overthinking every symptom again 🤣

good luck to you all! A week of hell and symptom spotting ahead, I hate the TWW! Although we’ve been trying a year, it’s the first time I feel like I’m officially in one!
@Kay1578 yes same! Waiting to see a continuous rise! I’ve been back temping since October and my temps have beeen all over the place, going up for a few days, dropping etc! Having 3 week long bleeds, a week off and then bleeding again! It’s been so confusing! Hoping my body has finally returned to normal The next few days I’ll hopefully have a much better understanding! I’m so gutted I ditched the OPK’s this month, but I was just expecting the bleeding to return!
@Em3009 yes great that we’re testing at the same time! How many DPO will you all be? I think I’ll be 10 or maybe 11, depending when my temps confirm it!

Just had my ovulation confirmed. I am not 💯 sure it’s accurate but I think the issue is I didn’t start wearing it until CD10 and usually start and day 7, so pre ovulation temps aren’t really there for a comparison! The good news is though there’s a very definite rise! Bad news is I think I ovulated the day before we got around to trying, or maybe the day of, but I know the chances are much lower then! Over a year of waiting for ovulation, I’m just glad to see it though, but I still live in hope 😂

@Peonies94 I’ll be the same either 10/11 DPO if I wait until next Wednesday!

I’m having the same problem, my cycle seems to be all over the shop this month! I’m on cd20 but my OPKs are actually starting to get darker and I still haven’t had a proper temp rise…why is this tracking thing so confusing 😂 TMI but we dtd on the days I had a lot of EWCM but maybe I haven’t even ovulated yet??

@Peonies94 I’d say you have a really good chance if you covered the day of ovulation ❤️

My temps have been really strange these past few days tbh. I think lol the high one on CD28 was taken an hour n half later than the rest and after a restless sleep so I'm ignoring that 1. It's also been a strange cycle. I've left it as it is so I can see the whole chart, but I did bleed for 2 days on CD19 & 20. So I'm not sure if I'm on CD31 or 13. I'm just taking the positive opk as a win and hoping for the best. I didn't have a proper "rise" today but its still above what would be my coverline. If I have a rise to at least 36.5 tomorrow (today's is 36.44) then ovulation will be confirmed (yes I'm that obsessed, I inputted data early to see what it needed to be 🤣🤣)

Ahh it’s so had to know what’s going on isn’t it! @OneGladTiger it could be that the EWCM was correct so to speak, and you just missed your peak! Sometimes you get really short ones!
really disappointed I didn’t test with opks this month!

@OneGladTiger I’m trying to not obsess about my temp as I test at different times which isn’t ideal! You know your body best!

@Em3009 yeah the slight variation on times can make a huge difference! I use an Ovusense so it’s an average from the overall night, so a little different but wakeful nights can have a big impact too!
so many variables on using anything to tell ! I find OPKs are the same too! Working days I find it hard to test other than first thing in the morning, so that makes my results less accurate!

There is so much variation isn’t there, it really helps to tell myself whatever will be will be 🙏🏻 I got my darkest OPK this morning so I think I’ll actually ovulate tomorrow! Which doesn’t give us the best chance as we dtd 4/5 days before but it’s still a chance! 🤞🏻 Not seeing my partner until Friday so a little frustrating but can’t help these things. I’ll probably stop tracking so much now as this cycle has been too confusing 😆

Another day completed without caving and testing (even though I know it would be pointless) 🤣 5/6 days to go! How are you all feeling / getting on?

Morning ... OK so I know we said we wouldn't test till next Wednesday. I woke up this morning feeling reallyyyy sick. My partner ordered us an Indian last night and I couldn't eat it at all either. So even though my chart says I'm possibly 3dpo (not 100% sure as I'm on like CD32) I took a test anddd I swear it's faint pos. I can see it in person. I'll post pics but not sure if u can see it on pics. Will be going chemist on way home from dropping kids off to do another x

@OneGladTiger as you say still a chance and may be best to try and do when you see him too on Friday, as sometimes ovulation happens 2 days after the positive, so could hopefully cover that if that’s the case 🤞🏻

@Em3009 same! I can’t seem to switch off in the TWW! It’s been thirteen months ttc this baby and honestly each month takes over more and more! Though it’s definitely been on my mind more this time around than previously, as I see a much clearer ovulation!

@Kay1578 i can’t see anything, but then when I had my positive my first time around I saw it 9DPO but no photo would take it, until the next day. I think it’s a good idea getting another test ! Good luck! Are your cycles long usually? Sending all the luck!

anyone who temps want to take a guess when I ovulated? I have a few different apps that are all saying different? I think my issue is I ovulated 1-3 days after my period, so think that wouldn’t help anyways!

but I usually bank on fertility friend being the most accurate they are saying where number 3 is, my other apps are saying number 1, and number 2 so a day or two earlier. I did have a big increase on day 3 of temping, b but not enough data maybe? 🤷‍♀️

@Em3009 The urge to do a pointless test is strong 😂 That’s where opks come in handy, if you really need to test SOMETHING 😆 I know I’ve learnt so much in the past couple months, basically a scientist at this point.

@Kay1578 Exciting! I was wondering when you said you bled for two days if that could have been implantation? But then I guess the positive should be stronger by now if so?

@Peonies94 I’m no expert but I think it’s the dip and then 3 consecutive rises that signify ovulation so your chart looks good! I wish there was some way we could know exactly when it was!

I'm wondering if my 2 day bleed was maybe an ovulationbleed? Would put me at 12 ish dpo. Will know for sure in about 2 hours lol x

Yes usually around 33 days before breastfeeding. I can't really see much on pic but it's clear in person and came up straight away
I'd say maybe where your temp dipped then rose. That's usually ur ovulation indicator xx

Oh well, back to Wednesday it is lol must just be in my head. There's 100% a clear line on that test, even my partner can see it. Done 2 more, nothing. Waiting now 🤣🤣 xx
