Hi everyone! Fingers crossed we will get lots of BFPs this month 🤞🏼💕

I am 2 days late for AF now but bfn so just waiting to start the cycle again!

I have made appointments for a scan and private fertility consultation though so feeling optimistic this month ☺️

LuxyLocket · 01/11/2024 12:46

Hey @Emiily887 and hopefully others joining! 💕Glad AF is tailing off for you now! CD9 for me today so need to start thinking about dtd soon. Going to try smep again this cycle.

LuxyLocket · 01/11/2024 12:50

@Firsttime2023 Hear hear let’s hope so! 🤞🤞I’m going into our third cycle of trying.
That’s very positive about the fertility appointments! We also have a plan in place, we’ve decided that if nothing has happened by after the new year, that’s 6 months of trying, then we are going to have the ‘fertility mot’ as it’s called with the Agora clinic. I know it’s probably not needed and for a healthy couple it’s considered very normal to take up to a year of trying. But it’s something we wanted to do after our mc in the summer just to check if there is anything underline/anything we can improve on.
we’re both taking fertility supplements.
do let us know how you get on! Even just going to these appointments for the optimism is worth it I think for the re assurance and to feel positive. I hope you get your bfp this cycle! 💕🤞

OliveTraybake · 01/11/2024 13:02

Hey everyone, my partner and I both have our fertility testing this month through nhs - bloods for me and sperm analysis for him.

taking it easier and pressure off this month as we both feel so exhausted with it all.

Sending you all baby dust xx

JoMummyJessica · 01/11/2024 13:27

Hey ladies cd 7 for me! Ready to start again over weekend, oh has been warned haha! Oh is on lates all next week though and I'm on early shift so going to be hard! Would fall on ovulation week when he has to do late shifts!
How is everyone feeling this month?

Harriet1989 · 01/11/2024 13:44

Hey all, due to be cycle day 1 for me, tested negative this morning so just waiting for AF. Got an appointment this week for a saline scan as they spotted a polyp on my uterine lining at a fertility scan so hoping that doesn't impact this cycle

LucyLou0527 · 01/11/2024 15:23

Still waiting for AF but excited for November’s cycle with you ladies x

Hoping you get your BFP too! 💕

Hi 👋
C#1, TTC #3.
Currently CD28, 9dpo
With my previous pregnancies I experienced a short luteal phase (11 days) and a couple of chemical whilst TTC., so according to flo app AF due in 3days.
I'm currently feeling absolutely exhausted 😩, tender boobs (specifically nips), and some cramping. I'm trying not to get my hopes up at all since its only out first proper cycle since coming off BC, but very similar symptoms to my previous lucky cycles.
It took a lot of conversations and decision making to get to this point so I'm very anxious about it all.

Justbloodylovecrisps · 01/11/2024 16:37

Hey guys, here we go again!

I've been using the clear blue fertility monitor this month & it's just said high every day from day 6 🫠 might just stick to the good old easy@home OPKS.

CD10 here so got a few days to wait until ov. After SMEP last month I cba to dtd I won't lie 🤣 x

Emiily887 · 01/11/2024 16:58

Hey ladies!

I want to try smep again but the cycle before last killed us off 🤣🤣 so I think we will try every other day and if we have the energy try fitting in an extra bd when we hit peak … it just felt soooo forced doing smep, I think we were even laughing through it the one time🫠😂
@LuxyLocket not long until ovulation for you then lovely! Fingers crossed!!
@LucyLou0527 it’s the waiting that’s the worst isn’t it. Hope you’re not waiting long either way🥰
@Justbloodylovecrisps welcome back!! That’s weird re clear blue monitor😱 how bizarre!!
@Harriet1989 welcome lovely! Sorry to hear about your bfn. I shouldn’t think your tests should impact this month, at most maybe delay ovulation a few days? I’ve had a few procedures done and even when I had surgery in feb ov was only delayed by a week🩷

Hope your testing goes well for you! I agree the pressure is a lot, I really struggled towards the end of last cycle but these ladies really helped me through it. We’re all here to listen 🥰

Fingers crossed this is a lucky cycle for you and these signs are all leading to a bfp. Also ttc no.3 and this is cycle 10 for us. There have been 3 threads with the same lovely ladies and I have to say they’re the most supportive bunch, so I hope this thread will help you as much as it has me🩷 sending love and hugs x

Hello!

I'm day 12 DPO Cycle#8, TTC baby#2.

Had a BFN this morning, I guess I'm out. Trying to get my head back in the game after having a good cry over that single line. AF due Monday 4th November, and ovulation on the 15th.

We're in the process of getting fertility tests and will be having the initial consultation for IVF in November (no issues discovered so far, but we're both 41). So I'm falling into "now or never" mindset pit... it will be very hard not to be even mote obsessive than before!

Lots of patience and positivity for you all!

Ncl31 · 02/11/2024 08:21

Hey ladies can I join. Im4DPO today.

Joleyjojo · 02/11/2024 09:42

I am 6dpo and I have fallen down the symptom spotting black hole 🕳️ 😂😂😂.
we did SMEP this cycle and I have to say it was a killer as I didn’t ovulate until CD25😂😂😂.
I am desperate to POAS to feed my addiction. Everyone ibhave had a BFP it was never before 10dpo so I am holding out another 4 days 😂😂😂😂😂
good luck everyone x

EagerBiscuit · 02/11/2024 12:08

CD 40 😑 BFN.
No sign of AF. Had cramps last weekend and was expecting AF on 29th but now nothing.

Had a positive test in March and would have been bringing our new addition home soon if all had gone well. So was really hoping for some good news. Not to replace but to give me some hope.
Positive test in September. Looks like a chemical.

Feeling really confused. Exhausted. Sad.
What a head buster this is.

LucyLou0527 · 02/11/2024 17:35

Finally CD1 glad I’m not in the dark anymore!

Fashionlover123 · 03/11/2024 09:15

Hi girls! Back for cycle 2 hope you’re all ok 😘 I have an OPK question. Has anyone used clear & simple ones then swapped to easy @ home? My usual ovulation is D18 so on clear & simple I barely get a hint of a line until D15. Just done an easy at home as im CD8, just wanted to check for a baseline & it’s negative but a definite line, like what id usually get on maybe D15. Are they more sensitive? May have confused myself by swapping brands!

LuxyLocket · 03/11/2024 10:29

Hi girls sorry just catching up, dh and I were in a show this weekend so that’s been fun to take my mind off things.
@LucyLou0527 im sorry AF came but glad you’ve got some clarity. You sounded like you knew it was coming and were being very level headed about it. 🩷into the next cycle with the rest of us.
@EagerBiscuit im so sorry, its so heartbreaking when their due dates come round. Ours would have been feb. I’m so sorry what you feel is so valid, ttc is such a rollercoaster of emotions. Hope you’re ok. Hugs

LuxyLocket · 03/11/2024 10:31

I’m cd11 today and got a flashing high fertility on clear blue opk. We’ve dtd days 10 and 11 this cycle. But this weekend has been just for fun which has felt really nice as last cycle was feeling a bit mechanical. Going to keep opk each day and wait for the peak fertility to make sure we catch it.
was feeling very sad last week as two friends had babies and announced so was hard seeing photos and such but this week feeling more optimistic as I enter the fertile window week.

Hopeful202592 · 03/11/2024 10:39

Hi all,

I've been a lurker on mumsnet and lots of other forums for a while. Period came this over the weekend after some brown spotting. We've been ttc since February, although only properly since April. We had a chemical in June. It was my second chemical after one when not ttc a few years ago.

I'm starting to feel very disheartened but going to give it a real go this month. Both me and husband are overhauling diet and exercise and I'm going to try and manage stress.

Anyway, hope you don't mind this long term lurker joining in. I feel like ttc can be very lonely and would be good to connect.

LuxyLocket · 03/11/2024 10:46

@Hopeful202592 welcome lovely! I’m so sorry to hear of your chemicals. This group has been so supportive as we’ve all got stories and we all keep eachother going on this journey together. It’s definitely important to connect. I feel like I can’t really talk to my friends about it as they aren’t going through it so can’t fully relate. Absolutely join in! Best decision I made joining Mumsnet, this is my third month and this is the loveliest group 💕
