Good morning all, how is everyone feeling today?
I am CD5 and my period is starting to tail off now, thank god. Looking forward to getting started this month. My DP doesn't want to know my BD plan, he wants it to still feel spontaneous 🤣 so will try to be as nonchalant as possible!

LuxyLocket · 11/10/2024 07:55

Hi ladies happy Friday everyone!! I know some of you are entering ovulation weekend! 💕also hope those in the tww are holding up ok.

can confirm, my first experience using the clear blue digital opk was really good!!! I think it was well worth the money and very easy to use.

LucyLou0527 · 11/10/2024 09:01

Emiily887 · 10/10/2024 18:03

Oooo how exciting!! Hopefully this is your month!🥰 yeah definitely, busy weekend for us both by the looks😂🫠

I’ve just done my injection arghhh shaking!
also just used preseed for the first time, If it’s not too much to ask, how much to you use lol?

I read that 2g is recommended somewhere and it was far too much for me, DH said he had to force it out by the end😂😂x

LuxyLocket · 11/10/2024 09:31

@LucyLou0527 Eeek exciting!
so I also used 2mg of preseed as advised. It felt a lot but I used the applicator to insert and also did it about 15 mins before dtd. I know what you mean though!! Hope it works!

MamaSads · 11/10/2024 12:55

1 dpo today, feeling nervous! Hope this month is the one. Ovulation pain is kicking my ass today. How's everyone feeling?

Renee33 · 11/10/2024 14:24

Hi Everyone

Joining the thread.

Trying properly this month and currently on CD9. Wishing everyone the best!!

LuxyLocket · 11/10/2024 16:21

@Renee33 I think I remember you were on the last thread? 💕eek exciting you’re trying properly this cycle! All the baby dust to you.

@MamaSads I had so much ovulation pain this cycle too, let’s hope it’s a good sign! And nice strong ovulation🤞

owlcat24 · 11/10/2024 16:51

Hi everyone, sorry I've been quiet on here recently, this week was busy. I'm 5DPO today and am hoping to wait until 10 DPO to start testing.

A bit of TMI but we DTD last night and I wiped pink straight after. Never had that before so a bit concerned 😵‍💫

Joleyjojo · 11/10/2024 18:30

I have been totally thrown today! I was going to start SMEP on CD 9 or 10 as I tend to ovulate later.
I used the CB advanced fertility monitor CD9 today and got a high reading , and my cheap LH test was not positive but pretty dark. I have never had anything like those lines so early in the cycle and wondering if my MC had reset my cycles.
I had read that once you get High readings you should BD everyday and Peak days. But I don’t know how long the high levels will last. Seeing the high today I did the school run and got back as fast as I could to BD 😂😂😂😂 poor BF working from home xxx

Emiily887 · 11/10/2024 18:46

Hi ladies! How is everyone?!🩷
Still not got a peak but I am on the rise thank goodness! It’s going to be a late one I think, more than likely because of the chemical throwing my cycle out.

@LucyLou0527 oh my how exciting!! How are you feeling after the trigger? Oh goodness, messy isn’t it?!😂 dh said it was like a slip n slide down there 🤣
We have been using the recommended but then last night we used 1g which actually felt like more than enough so going to stick with that I think! Also pop it in 15 min before usually when DH has gone downstairs or something as it’s definitely a mood killer using it in the moment 🫠

Enjoying reading everyone’s updates! @Emiily887 That made me chuckle about the lube that’s exactly how it is for us as well 😂
I think you’ll be later cos of the ch sadly but it looks like your peak is definitely on the way!

im 3dpo and feeling very emotional but that could be to do with other stuff. Also im so bloated! But I did have a poorly tummy earlier in the week so it is probably just the aftermath of that. So far this tww hasn’t started as feeling like it’s going to drag too much. Which is good. Hope it stays that way. I have a super busy week next week to keep my mind off it but no doubt I’ll be on here chatting with you lovely ladies! 💕

Glad it’s not just us🤣 such a weird and wonderful time ttc isn’t it!
Good that you have a busy week, hopefully that’ll help ease the testing urges but if not EMBRACE THE CRAZY GIRL!🫶🏼
Really excited to see you get your positive whenever that may be🩷

@Emiily887 Good luck! I also have late ovulation/irregular periods. I usually ovulate around CD20-22. I'm currently CD17 and my LH tests are so weird, like super light and not gradually getting stronger.

Does that happen to anyone else? When I see it light still, I keep thinking oh it won't happen. My CM is getting wetter though - tmi but was pretty thick last week, and now it's more milky/thin. Good sign hopefully?

LuxyLocket · 12/10/2024 12:39

@Emiily887 Yeah!!!!! Knew it would happen! Just a tad later, but ovulation is ovulation and I’m so glad it’s here for you 🥰🥰

Thank you! Yep mine were the same, yesterday I was really thinking it wasn’t going to come as my tests were still quite faint, but then this morning they were completely positive. Someone else said on here theirs do the same and just suddenly appear. Fingers crossed for you!
Increased CM is definitely I good sign it’s imminent- mine started to get more and more yesterday morning and last night was ewcm which is the same this morning. Xx

Thanks love!!! Thank goodness, what a stress 😂 now to prepare to enter the tww again🫠
How are you doing? 4dpo? 🫶🏼

OP posts:
LuxyLocket · 12/10/2024 13:18

@Emiily887 Yes that’s right 4dpo today. We’re away for the weekend which is quite nice as I’m not obsessively thinking about it.
feeling ok thank you, still bloated but I think that’s from the tummy bug I had last week. Feeling a few abdominal dull cramps but I’m not being fooled as I had all that last cycle.
so happy for you ovulation has come! Means you might get a slightly shorter tww? Which would be nice. 🩷

owlcat24 · 12/10/2024 13:35

@Plumchumm yes my OPKs are the same, super faint until one day they're much darker/positive and then back to very faint within a day or two.

Tadpolecat · 12/10/2024 16:07

Mine are the same @owlcat24 and @Plumchumm - they are so much lighter than everyone else's that I see posted on these threads. No gradual increase really, I get 1 day of dark and then it goes straight back to very pale! I'm sure it was the same when I was trying for my son so not too worried though.

Plumchumm · 12/10/2024 17:04

@Emiily887 @owlcat24 @Tadpolecat Thanks ladies, I appreciate the feedback. I've just checked and finally see some ewcm, it was just a bit, mixed with the milky/watery kind but hopefully good sign x

OliveTraybake · 12/10/2024 19:20

Month 9 of ttc, years of unprotected sex without ‘trying’ and never had a pregnancy.

found out this week my sister in law is pregnant and I’m feeling broken. Spent the whole night away last night thinking about the situation and I’m struggling to find energy to show I’m happy for her like I am whenever anyone announces a pregnancy.

no one knows were ttc and Ive congratulated asked questions etc but it hurts and I’m wanting to detach from my family to protect myself but i know this isn’t the right thing to do.

going into the week of ovulation so trying to hold out hope this month. Not sure why I’m positing this I guess I just feel so loney.

just created a new thread but came across this lovely supportive group and thought I’d join 😊
i wanted to get your thoughts on whether the test I took this morning is positive or just a dye run. I’ve attached the photo

Is this an ovulation test or pregnancy test?

LuxyLocket · 12/10/2024 21:04

@OliveTraybake how you feel is totally understandable and your feelings are valid 💕it’s tricky with family I appreciate but it’s also totally ok to put some space between you and the pregnant family members when you need to. Ttc is a hard journey. It’s totally normal to be triggered by announcements. We are only cycle 2 of ttc but we did have a lovely surprise pregnancy that happened quickly after our wedding, but sadly that ended in a mc at 9 weeks. It’s extremely painful when I hear of others moving on and announcing their pregnancies. That’s also why I joined this thread and I’m so happy I did as it’s just a bunch of women all together in the same boat supporting and comforting eachother. Thank you for sharing this with us and please know you are not alone in feeling this 💕💕if you ever need to jump on here to vent your feelings please know you can!
