In my opinion that looks positive, but take another just because the dye is everywhere. Tentative congratulations 💕

Id take another, it looks like the control line isn't correct either? But that doesn't mean it's not positive 😊

I’ve just taken another this morning and it’s negative. I’m a right to assume that the first one was a false positive?

16 dpo today and period is 2 days late 😕

If you're late I wouldn't make any assumptions yet. I've had pregnancies where it's taken a good few days late before getting a positive

I did a test this morning at 7dpo...obvs neggy! Why do I do this to myself? 😂

How is everyone today?
I don’t know if I’m ovulating today or 1dpo, as my static smiley was early yesterday morning. I think I’m going to go with ovulation day today?😂

I'm CD17 today. More ewcm. Very strange for me as I don't usually ovulate and even when I have, I very rarely get ewcm. But looks like I may ov in the next few days! OPK still lightish.
No ovulation pains yet (I usually feel the left side). Maybe it's right side this time?

For a long time I thought my right ovary just didn't do anything, as I only ever felt ovulation pains on my left side. I can literally feel when it's releasing and where it is. But I went for an ultrasound a few months back, and they told me I have a massive cyst on my right ovary. Went again a week later and they said the cyst had popped. I still literally felt nothing.

Weird how it's diff on each side

I'll just pee on some OPKs to tide me over I think in future.

Yay that you finally got your smiley! I think you ovulate on average about 12-24 hours after the peak don't you? I had a peak for like 3 days this month so I have no idea

A frustrating part of TTC is the planning ahead that you might be pregnant. I feel like I can't plan anything for next year because I might be pregnant or have a new born. Which if I am not will make it even worse as we won't have things to look forward too. My friends wants to book a spa day for a few months time but if I am pregnant it will be a waste as you can hardly do anything.
Same with job opportunities and promotions. I just wish I knew when even if was a lot longer than I want.
Sorry not a big thing in the grand scheme but it's a little annoyance of mine!

Yeah I think so, think it can be 12-36 hours, going to go with today as I’m a little crampy now which I usually get just after O! So 1dpo tomorrow!

@Luckypinkduck so glad someone has said this!! We are the same, really want to book next years holiday but I can’t incase 1. I need to add a new born on or 2. I’m heavily pregnant! So I definitely agree that it’s a struggle not knowing, on top of everything else that comes with ttc! If only we had a crystal ball! 🔮

@Luckypinkduck I get this! With my first she was a complete surprise and found out 4 months before my wedding, 6 months before a ski trip and 8 months before a cruise & we had to cancel the holidays. I feel like there's no point in waiting in limbo and you can always postpone the things you had planned! I've been trying for a while for baby number 2 and I decided to just get a new job as I didn't want to wait any longer. I've been there 4 months now & still no sign of the baby but I'm glad I did it nonetheless. I also have a spa trip booked next month and I'll still go if I'm pregnant, you can still get a massage and go for a swim 😊

@Luckypinkduck I say just do all the things! I've been TTC for 4.5 years...I've missed so much by thinking "what if" or "when", and I refuse to miss out on life anymore. I'm just about to start a new job this coming week, it's not worth putting things off. You'll make it work if/when things happen xx

@Luckypinkduck I agree, it's so frustrating. I feel like I've been in limbo land such a long time, and we were pushed into explaining it by my in laws who wanted to book a big anniversary celebration abroad for next summer. We've agreed on Easter which feels doable, and I think it's ok to plan stuff like that 6 months in advance.. saying that, booking a big expensive holiday is probably a sure fire way to ensure you get your bfp! (Joke!) I did find out I was pregnant the day after wed booked a sailing holiday in greece with my parents.. I was 34 weeks when I came back and it was manageable but very stressful and I won't be taking that risk again!

CD15 and only just got my peak even through I triggered at CD12! Strange but I’m very excited and looking forward to 2ww x

@LucyLou0527 I don’t know much about trigger shots but how exciting to finally have your peak!! How are you feeling?

I'm 5-7dpo (ran out of tests so I'm not sure if I had a second higher peak or just the is it/isn't it one) and totally failing at distracting myself from tww. I know I couldn't be having pregnancy symptoms yet, but every twinge/slightly odd smell/tiredness has me wondering 🫠

Zero symptoms and spotting like crazy so I'm not hopeful.. 8 DPO today

@MrsS11 tww is the worst isn’t it!! I’m 1dpo and already hating it😂 fingers crossed it’s your month!
@owlcat24 spotting sounds promising?! Not long until you can test🤞🏼

I'm 8dpo & I had a dye run that made me think I had a positive, but we're back to negative now 🤣

@Emiily887 I always spot a few (up to 5) days before AF so it makes me think it's that. Although I also had some spotting/light bleeding at around 11-12DPO when I was pregnant with DS so who knows 🤷‍♀️

5dpo moving flats this week so a lot of cleaning and painting to keep me distracted :)
