@Emiily887 The limbo is just so horrible and the worst bit 😔💕thinking of you
@JoMummyJessica im sorry AF came, I felt the same as you I was almost relieved then I can just get on with next cycle. I think that’s a good idea to do it slightly differently so as to not add extra pressure to yourself. Similar with me, I’m going to do the opk again as I did enjoy that it kind of spurred me on and I knew it had it bang on but with the early testing I’m torturing myself pointlessly so going to really try and wait til day or so before AF if I do that.
@LucyLou0527 im so sorry I know exactly how you’re feeling, questioning why it didn’t happen when you did everything you could it’s so so frustrating ttc is one of the hardest things ever. I don’t think anyone quite realises if they’re one of the luckily women who fall right away. I feel you lovely we’re all on this journey hard as it is we will all keep eachother going. Big hugs 🩷🩷

I’m so glad we all have each other to lean on, it really means the world! As much as our partners can also be very supportive, they can’t understand it as deep as we feel it x

Tadpolecat · 27/10/2024 19:28

Sounds like a few of us struggling with the frustrations of TTC😔 I was one of the very lucky ones with my son, falling pregnant immediately. Now we are trying for our second, we have realised it isn't always so easy. 9DPO today and got a BFN. After a very clear positive at 10DPO with my son, I'm pretty sure we're out again. Just want AF to arrive so we can start cycle 3! I know this is still early days really but I think it's the not knowing how long it will take, that is a struggle!

Amy341 · 27/10/2024 19:39

I do feel your pain. My first two were first trys and I really thought it would be the same this time too! It’s taken us 6 cycles this time but just got the BFP 🤍 you’ll get there! It really is the not knowing that’s hard x

Emiily887 · 27/10/2024 19:52

It’s horrible to see so many of us going through it but also reassuring too.
My daughter was conceived while I was on the implant, so she was a complete surprise but very welcomed after getting over the shock😂
But then my son took 14 cycles with miscarriages inbetween.
On cycle 9 ttc number 3 with a chemical last cycle.
I’m just ready for af now, 3 days late and getting frustrated with shadows, faints then negatives. I feel like no tests are reliable anymore…used to swear by easy @ home but we have fallen out this cycle 😅

@Emiily887 Never apologise for your feelings or for needing to get it out. As others have said, we all understand this and are acutely aware of how it feels to mentally and physically go through this.
no matter whose had what story the journey is just as difficult and emotional.
we were told the classic after our mc ‘you’re really fertile after a mc and lots of couples conceive right away’ and I think although it was comforting to hear at the time, it got our hopes up too much.
going into our 3rd cycle now and I do know that really in the grand scheme of things that isn’t too long at all really. But when you long for it it doesn’t matter.
I do hope we all stay in touch on our journeys. It is such a comfort to have friends along to way.
I do hope you’re ok tonight and you are in the worst bit of it now. Hang in there and you will know either way by the next day or so and we are all here to support 🩷💕big hugs

Gebebebes · 27/10/2024 21:02

Good luck hope this went okay. Is it OK??? I honestly not sure on advising on whether that is or not.

EagerBiscuit · 28/10/2024 08:23

Hey everyone - Hope all well.

AF due tomorrow. I havent used any OPK this month just used Flo app to give me an idea. DTD often and just hoping taking the pressure off helps.
The biggest achievement is I havent tested at all. Not once haha. Now get through a few more days and wait to see if AF arrives on time or late or not at all.

Symptom spotting - boobs sore. Some niggly cramps. The usual PMS.
Keeping positive ✨️ 🤞🏼

I have started taking Proceive supplements this month. Anyone else take them?

Congrats on the BFPs this month. And sending baby dust to those still waiting xxx

LuxyLocket · 28/10/2024 09:41

@EagerBiscuit keeping everything crossed for you and that’s very admirable to have gotten this far with no testing! 🤞🤞

I’ve been taking Proceive supplements, plus the omega 3 and my husband takes the proceive for men. I also take co-q10.
im last day of AF and into cycle no. 3 of ttc our rainbow so hoping Nov is our month 🙏🤍

Luckypinkduck · 28/10/2024 10:18

AF here for me. Slightly late and very heavy!
Starting to plan for next month now. I am thinking a break from the ovulation testing and just regular trying. Need to have a chat with my DH I think about how we need to make time to do lots of trying. Also going to have a think about what vitamins to take- any recommendations?

Emiily887 · 28/10/2024 10:59

@LuxyLocket thank you lovely. I agree, sometimes the things they say to get your hopes up can be the worst when it doesn’t go to plan. Definitely want to keep in touch as I don’t know what I’d do without you ladies!!
Still no af, still negative tests but my temp has finally dropped back to baseline today so I’m thinking af is imminent now…which I am glad about because I am so over this cycle and the stress and tears🫠
Has af finished for you? Xx

Aaaaand after a very long 36 day cycle, we’re back to cd1. AF finally just made an appearance. Praying for a normal cycle this time😱

Amy341 · 28/10/2024 14:15

Ouch, 36 days must’ve been hard 😣 wishing you all the luck and baby dust for this fresh cycle!🤞🏻

LuxyLocket · 28/10/2024 14:18

Oh @Emiily887 I’m so sorry you’ve had such a whirlwind of a cycle, very understandable you’ve been stressed and teary! It’s just cruel isn’t it when we want it so much but then your cycle has to muck you about. I don’t know what it is with those easy@home tests but I’m thinking of not using them again next cycle as I also had the annoying faint ‘lines’
im glad AF has given you an answer, albeit not the one you wanted but you can have your sad moments and time to process then move ahead to the next cycle. I don’t know what I’d do without this group either! 💕

LuxyLocket · 28/10/2024 14:18

yeah last day of AF today and dh and I away at a spa hotel a little break which is nice. Far too early for any possible conceiving but we just want to relax and enjoy eachothers company.

Be careful what you wish for, my last cycle was 25 days, I actually missed my fertile window as I wasn't using OPK much... Now I'm already back in the TWW after ovulating early again this cycle 😅 Got my peak on CD11, but was on the ball this time. I was in my last TWW whilst you were still waiting for your peak earlier in the thread.

Glad it’s finally come and sympathise with the indents/shadows you’ve had. How long is your cycle usually? X

Edited

No testing has been tough but I knew I has to stop this month as it was really getting out of hand 🙈

AF due today and to be honest I think it's going to arrive. Just have that feeling.

So stated taking proceive 3 weeks ago and I feel really good, think they've gave me a little boost. Hopefully they do the trick 🤞🏼

Everything crossed for you! ✨️♥️

Thank you lovely. It really is. I used to absolutely swear by easy @ home and would recommend them to all but I agree I won’t be using them next cycle.
I’m definitely just relived that I am out of that cycle and can start thinking about the next now. Can already feel the upset and frustration fading away which is good xx

oh wow. I never have short cycles but then again I never have 36 dayers either 🤣
I will make sure I test early with opk and keep taking bbt just incase. That has gone super quickly for you! Hopefully this is the cycle for you x

Thank you, me too. Just glad it’s over. Normally 30, 31 at most so it was only an extra 6 days but those 6 days felt like eternity!!😱 I think because my cycles are on the slightly longer side anyway it really made it drag 😩

Hi all,

so after my positive digital and other tests (all 10miu sensitivity) I bought some more less sensitive tests (20miu) to track progression and I’m really freaked out today because they are so faint in comparison 😞 I’m 14DPO, could this be a chemical? Photo is 12,13 and 14 DPO from top to bottom

Lucky october?🤞🏼
curliegirlie · 29/10/2024 12:57

@Amy341 as you say they are less sensitive so it's like comparing apples with pears, and at 14dpo you're hardly even late. Fingers crossed!

curliegirlie · 29/10/2024 13:12

And hopefully very unlikely to be a chemical- my CPs barely showed up on 10miu tests, so I think you're fine, just early for a cheapo standard test x

Amy341 · 29/10/2024 15:49

Thankyou! After a little mental breakdown my husband went and got some more sensitive ones and that’s put my mind at rest. This all really does make me feel crazy! Bring on the first ultrasound only 8 weeks to go 🥲 x
