Two week wait ladies, you there?

I am 5DPO today. First proper cycle of trying to conceive.

I know we’re not likely to feel any symptoms yet, but id anyone else hyper focused on every twinge or movement? I swear I woke up in the night with really sore b0.obs but now they don’t feel too bad - last night they were super veiny and looked diff.
I’m presuming this is just post-ovulation symptoms.

I don’t want to overthink and get myself stressed but so hoping something is going on. I hope i’ll know more in a few days.. and I know how rare/lucky it is to catch first time.

Oh it least you know when it may happen now! Just have to carry on BD’ing and testing 🤣.

I feel like AF may show up nearly a week early.. I was REALLY emotionally last night crying over nothing and today I’ve had sore boobs and really bad bloating - all signs I normally have a day or two before AF! I’m only 6/7 DPO so too early for any HCG to be having any kind of effect on me, completely baffled as this has never happened to me since I came off BC over a year ago! Xx

Not insensitive at all ☺️ this baby making us hard. It's hard too because start BD too soon and the partner runs out of steam and enthusiasm before ovulation. Start too late and you can miss it!

My HCG tests don't seem to be getting lighter its so frustrating. I need them to decrease before I can ovulate.

You’re right with the going too soon/late predicament, it’s a constant battle to try and strike the right balance and on the right days too!! Fingers crossed you come into your fertile window soon girl! X

I've had my bloods done a week later and HCG has gone up again 😩 not a viable pregnancy but wtf is going on here.

I even thought... Could I have ovulated early despite the HCG and it's been 11dpo since we BD... Could it be another pregnancy?

Oh gosh this is so confusing I bet.. I hope you get some answers soon as it can’t be nice being in limbo xx

I think so. Had stickier cm today, and temp was down.. I think it OV was yest. But i’m a bit sad as we didn’t BD last night :( went to a wedding and OH drank too much and conked out lol. Sun, Mon, Weds we did.. missed tues and thurs. It’s my birthday tomorrow so i’m hoping nice happy relaxed vibes will help on some way 😂 fingers crossed some little swimmers hung around xx

Fair enough!! My apps only ever confirm ovulation as the day before a temp rise, so not sure where your inputting your BBT (premom ignores it but FF will use it to confirm ovulation).

Sure some will have done, they can last upto 5 days so fingers crossed!

Im 8/9DPO today (9 pre mom not considering BBT, 8 DPO according to FF using BBT)

Think I am out of the race again this month 😞! Took a test yesterday 11 DPO stark white and my BBT has dropped last 2 days also.

I thought something may have been happening Saturday night as had a few sharp pains and back ache, but obviously BBT suggesting otherwise, and the negative test.

Had a heavy feeling on and off in my pelvis since last night, which I don’t normally get before AF, but from what I’ve read many ladies do so just a new symptom to me. Expecting AF to show herself tomorrow or Wednesday!

We decided last night we may do some blood tests for me this month and there is something called exseed which is at home sperm testing if we don’t see a positive this month or next month. Hoping to see some positive results from some basic tests to put my mind at rest and then after Xmas would look at attending a fertility clinic if still not where we want to be.

I know we’re only early in the ttc journey but every negative really does feel heartbreaking. In my head this was going to be quick and easy but 2 months in it feels so stressful already.

Ahh it’s all just so confusing isn’t it.

I feel for you - we want this so bad but I was so naive to think it could just happen in the first month or so.
I’m really confused as I was cd24 yesterday and had two solid red lines on my ovulation test over 90.. It makes no sense as I had the same on cd20… I know LH can stay high but ce24 was much much higher and BBT was also spiking again. My cycles feel all over the place. I am thinking of not doing anything next month and solely relying on CM to navigate when to BD.. or just BD every 2/3 days for the month.

Oh dear that sounds really confusing.. I must admit I do stop testing BBT as soon as I’ve seen the drop from peak. I do feel like the stress of TTC is wreaking havoc with my cycle.. I spotted last month for the first time ever since coming off birth control 12 months ago.. this month I’ve got a symptom I’ve never had and my ovulation was later than it’s ever been too, so my cycle is longer. Maybe yours is something similar, if you are feeling stressed? xx

Sorry I meant LH!! I track BBT daily, I have found my low temps before ovulation are very low and after they’re very high and really easy to distinguish. I do take mine the exact same time everyday as I have an alarm on my phone set for 6am, then my watch auto takes and stores my temp data. As it’s taken my a watch it’s not 100% reliable as it’s skin temp, but I still see very clear changes in temp x

Thank you - I haven’t felt stressed at all for once! Had a lovely birthday weekend and felt really happy! Just very strange. Going to continue doing both until AF arrives or a BFP! I do have an apply watch but unsure whether it would be any use! Xx

So I use my Apple Watch, it stores the data in the health app under wrist temperature. But I also pay for an app called natural cycles which was previously for my birth control. You have to set up the “sleep” schedule for it to auto take your temp at the same time every day. I think you could use the temp reading on the wrist temp data and add it into fertility friend and that does the same as NC but for free, but you can’t set it to auto sync like I have with NC. Both NC and FF confirm ovulation by using the temp data you provide. just a side note that if you set this up the temp on your thermometer/watch will be completely different. I did initially start temping with a thermometer but found I couldn’t be consistent with time, or forgot and would have got out of bed and then thought oh no.. and it would then be unreliable.

Confirmed ectopic. Had methotrexate today. So that's me out of the game for 3-6 months. So stepping away from the TTC boards
