Two week wait ladies, you there?

I am 5DPO today. First proper cycle of trying to conceive.

I know we’re not likely to feel any symptoms yet, but id anyone else hyper focused on every twinge or movement? I swear I woke up in the night with really sore b0.obs but now they don’t feel too bad - last night they were super veiny and looked diff.
I’m presuming this is just post-ovulation symptoms.

I don’t want to overthink and get myself stressed but so hoping something is going on. I hope i’ll know more in a few days.. and I know how rare/lucky it is to catch first time.

Natural Cycled and FF have both moved my ovu date from CD17, to CD19.. I got peak test on CD17 and was back down low by end of CD18. Just wondering what’s more reliable so I can tell how many DPO I am 🤣

I am beyond thrilled - also nauseous as heck today and sense of smell is through the roof! Its probably just psychological but ive had crampy feelings all day. Sending so much love everyone. Wish I could help with chart but im useless. Guess sometimes it changes based on temp/lh? Xxx

But you’re not going anywhere until you tell me how old you are and when exactly did you DTD around your ovulation days 😂 I’m 4dpo but I have already ruled myself out based on my symptoms being exactly the same as they were the last two cycles right before my period came. Therefore I want all the tips and tricks 😂

I dont think there’s a one size fits all honestly, as you can read through, this is the first month in a total of 4 cycles I didn’t track anything. I took my LH once on the day premom told me I was peak for ovulation. This helped me mentally. If you also read, we suffered a bereavement in cycle 3 and the funeral was on cycle 4… so how this happened I really dont know!!

we BD every day of my peak week, and every other day prior. The only day we didnt BD during peak week was the ovulation day itself, then did the day after.

I increased water intake, tried to eat better, and just tried to relax. I would suggest not testing until at least 9dpo if you can… I did one around 7dpo and it was silly as it just caused me more stress!!! Xxx

I'd echo @JW24M that you can't tell much from other people's journeys, it's so individual. Some people can get away without tracking, other people would completely miss the window if they didn't (as every other day throughout just isn't always doable). With DD2 (when I was 35) I DTD O and O-1, with DD1 (at 32) we DTD O, O-1,2, 4 and 5. Intuitively the day before ovulation seems like the best day to aim for so the sperm is there waiting, but you equally hear of lots of people who have fallen when DTD longer from their ovulation date. Conversely I had a run of a week on the trot around my fertile window last cycle and not a sausage, but then I'm ancient now (42!) which probably doesn't help!

And @JW24M a huge huge congratulations! (I always try to wait a bit before offering congrats as a lot can happen in the early days). I'm sure other thread regulars won't want to see you go - please stay and cheer us on from the sidelines!

my temps are going abit wild this cycle, just constantly going up! No idea if it’s a good thing or I’m potentially getting ill but I’m only 7DPO so trying not to think too much into it just yet!! Tempted to stop taking it so I don’t hold onto it too much 😂

I don't think I'll be joining you sadly. Negative tests all the way up to yesterday (11dpo) and AF due to visit tomorrow. I had a small bit of bleeding a couple of days ago when checking my cervix (not sure why I bother - I can never interpret what I feel) so I'm sure she's waiting in the wings...

Early pregnancy is weird. With my DDs I was lucky enough not to get any sickness, so all I had to go on until my dating scan were those pink lines and slightly sore boobs and tiredness. Do try not to obsess too much about symptoms now you're there...

Thank you, this is reassuring I’m still worried AF will arrive at the moment. If I was 13 DPO she was already late when I tested, but if was 11 she’s due Friday.. My temp shot up loads this morning highest temp I’ve ever recorded. Im trying not to become an obsessive tester so haven’t done one this morning but probably will tomorrow. There was no squinting at the lines and they took me completely by surprise as I had 0 symptoms

no I get you - i don’t think it’s real still even with obvious tests, cramps, sore boobs etc!

no sickness/nausea for me yet. Just feeling very tired and have had a cough/cold all week which has knocked me for six, boobs are v sore!! But thank goodness everything seems to be ticking along. We have a private scan booked for the end of the month when i’ll be 8 weeks 2 days. Xx

I know what you mean, I didn’t have any obvious signs either AT ALL. I had no cramping, no backache.. but I did get an increased sense of smell yesterday out of nowhere then in the afternoon I started getting bloating and my temp had shot up from looking like AF would arrive!!
