Two week wait ladies, you there?

I am 5DPO today. First proper cycle of trying to conceive.

I know we’re not likely to feel any symptoms yet, but id anyone else hyper focused on every twinge or movement? I swear I woke up in the night with really sore b0.obs but now they don’t feel too bad - last night they were super veiny and looked diff.
I’m presuming this is just post-ovulation symptoms.

I don’t want to overthink and get myself stressed but so hoping something is going on. I hope i’ll know more in a few days.. and I know how rare/lucky it is to catch first time.

Could I join? 6DPO I've been having really vivid dreams for the past 3 nights! Totally unusual for me! Although it has been hot so I wonder if that might be why!

Hey can I join? I am 6dpo today. Chemical last month which was a month of "not trying" just normal sex. This month we've times sex. Hoping for a BFP this cycle!

My FF has knocked my ovulation date forward. I am now 6DPO and not 9DPO as I expected to be when I woke up.

ugh 😩

I also feel hugely unwell, so not in work today. In bed with plenty of cold and flu tablets feeling very sorry for myself ❤️‍🩹

sooo I had my first proper vivid preg related dream of implantation last night - the colour, time and everything. It’ll be implantation time over the next few days for me if it happens. So weird! 6DPO tofay xx

Aww sorry to hear about your chem lovely - keeping everything crossed for you now!!! Have you had any unusual symptoms ? Probs too early but worth an ask Xx

@LetstalkaboutBruno ah thank you! I struggle to be positive lol, I had a really bad infertility journey with an ex a few years ago where the issues were on his part. It was a tough 18 months of BFNs until I realised actually the universe was protecting me and he wasn't meant for me (he was somewhat abusive). So I've since been with my new partner and absolute love ❤️ for 18 months now and I struggle to get my previous experience out my head. My friend keeps telling me "you will be fine this month you've had sex at the right time etc" but my brain doesn't register anymore than you can have sex and get pregnant. In my head truly it's like "no it doesn't work like that, it's not possible". Whilst I feel positive it will happen for us, I struggle to believe x

I wish you all huge luck, but do try and climb down from hyper analysing absolutely everything in the TWW. You'll drive yourselves bananas if it ends up taking a while.

(I'm currently something like cycle 33, DD1 and 2 were a long - 16 month - 10 cycles and 12 cycles respectively. I already feel I need a place in the local lunatic asylum from the compulsive testing I do from 8dpo onwards).

This is hard! Being that critical of everything. If you feel that there are some fertility issues going on, initiate the start of a conversation with your GP. For any further help, you’d need testing to check in on cycles. If that comes back all clear, it may be the thing you need to help you relax a little.

I have an extensive history with infertility, so I do understand how that feels. However, your circumstance could be resolved with some self care and relaxation. TTC is incredibly complex, stress need not be a factor 🤍🫂

I have done so well to not test yet 😂. I am a serial tester. I am embarrassed by some of my compulsive behaviours in the past 🙃😂

@LetstalkaboutBruno yep. I've already said on the other thread how I'm 99% certain I'm out this cycle, but I'm still counting down until when I can test 🫠. Sorry you're going through all this crap too. The irony is this current round of TTC started after I'd had a surprise pregnancy whilst on the pill (so a few weeks being flaky with timings and missing days did it), which I lost around 5 weeks. The surprise element made me think this time might somehow be a bit easier. HA!

Same - achey bbs, sicky ish feeling, few period like cramps. Just no idea if this is typical symptoms between ov and period or something more as this is our first month ttc xxx

Do you think you’ll start testing at 8DPO?

This rubbishness isn’t new to me. Having a cycle is, and charting temps! So that’s new territory 😂

I was contemplating testing at the weekend, however now my DPO has been knocked back, I am going to hold off a little longer I think 🫠

I completely understand. I think it’s purely down to wanting something so badly - but I do need to chill out! It’s still an exciting time though & I love chatting to people about it!

Do you normally have any symptoms when you haven’t been trying? Sometimes spotting something unusual compared to normal PMS can be a sign. Fingers and everything else crossed for you! 🤞🏼

Don’t usually have sore bbs this long, however implantation isn’t due for another few days so unsure how? The vivid dream of that last night was insane! Woke up all hot! Haha never dreamt about it before!! Xx

@JW24M what do are you again? I never got implantation symptoms until around 11/12dpo maybe 10dpo each time. That was spotting and a few light cramps, dodgy belly and needing to wee. I don't expect to feel anything for a while if anything. Xx

Only 6DPO! Weirdly marries up with dates if month haha. That’s what I mean - how can I be experiencing this when I've likely not implanted yet. Had bad migraines this month too!
Just so unsure xx
