Argh sorry @mountainhighhh 😞
It's so cruel isn't it, especially if your body tricks you into getting your hopes up.

You definitely deserve a large glass of wine or 6!

Same - sitting in the sun with a rosé - cheers 😀

Same here it’s strange! Totally fine then it comes in slight waves… the only reason I tested as I suffered such bad sickness with my last two 😬😂

It's never kicked in this early for me so I'm hoping it's not a sign for what's to come 🙃

Kiwiburgh · 28/07/2024 22:00

Just took a test and what happened as soon as I wiped? AF reared her ugly head :( super early too at 12dpo! A little concerned about the short luteal phase.
On to the next cycle CD 1 today.

Oh I’m sorry to hear that kiwi! Is it definitely AF? Fingers crossed for next month lovely xx

Kiwiburgh · 28/07/2024 23:46

@NoRoTrio thank you 😊
I wish I could think of a reason why it could be implantation bleeding but it's definetly af.
Here's hoping for a May baby x

Fairly sure I can feel AF coming - expect it will arrive tomorrow. Only a 26 day cycle, feel like I don't have a chance!! Angry

Marie1990x · 29/07/2024 20:40

Hi all. I joined the thread at the beginning but often go silent until around O.

Does anyone have any experience with boots and Asda ovulation tests? I wouldn’t usually use 2 different brands, but I did a boots (green) this morning and it was almost positive. It was my last one so I used an Asda one this afternoon and there was hardly anything there. I went to get some more boots ones as I was so confused. Anyway I did both together (same urine) this eve, why is there such a big difference 😩🤯. Also aware they are very dry, but when wet the difference was the same I just didn’t have my phone on me to take a photo.

Any words of wisdom welcome 🤗

No sign of AF so far though still feel like it's coming. Have been looking at previous cycles and other than the cycle where I had a chemical, mine tend to be 25/26 days - already on 27 this time which is good. However I would be surprised if AF didn't arrive today.

Sadly I cannot help you however I wonder if you also take BBT daily. A BBT dip followed by a sharp rise in BBT means ovulation has happened. I use LH strips to see if I am close to ovulate then use BBT to confirm ovulation.

This is good that your cycle is getting longer or back to normal! My previous two cycles were longer due to 2 MCs and this current cycle turned out to be the first normal cycle. So I am happy.

LucyCL · 30/07/2024 15:40

Congratulations to the ones with BFPs! Baby dust to the ones who have started a new exciting cycle!

Mattietoes · 31/07/2024 08:01

@LucyCL Thank you Lucy, that is exactly the kind of positivity I need! It is definitely good if my cycles are lengthening a bit, even if this is not my BFP month. AF has still not arrived - according to Flo I'm now on 28 days with my usual cycle length being about 26. Have felt very very 'periody' for the last two days so I still feel like it's coming. Woke up this morning to odd sensations in my ovaries - hard to describe, not exactly pain though not completely not-painful! I think I am 5dpo today. So nervous every time I go to the toilet, having to really psych myself up!

OneNotDone · 02/08/2024 09:04

How is everyone getting on? @Floomobal how's things?
I tested this morning at 9DPO, BFN, but I think it's too early. I didn't get BFP until about 14 DPO last time.
The boots test strip had a really faint control line so I'm not even convinced it would show a VFL on the test line until much later. Might get a different brand...

watermelonsoda · 02/08/2024 09:17

@OneNotDone I use cheapy test strips from Amazon but when I had my chemical a couple of months ago I really researched the best/earliest pregnancy tests you can buy and found Ovum at Sainsbury's.. they're expensive but they're the highest sensitivity I found of any you can buy in shops (10mIU/mL). Fingers crossed for you!

I am pretty sure I am now in the TWW, haven't ovulation tested or anything this cycle as trying to relax about it all but have been getting other symptoms. Am actually going to wait two weeks to test as well as I'm tired of getting faint or indent lines then AF showing

LucyCL · 02/08/2024 10:43

@OneNotDone I was not sure if I should post my 2WW update here because there were already BFPs and BFNs earlier. Currently I am at 3 dpo and I wish you good luck this cycle!

@watermelonsodaI also had a CP this May and I have already started testing LH and HCG from 1 dpo. Totally understand that you don't want to test early!

watermelonsoda · 02/08/2024 10:50

The wait is excruciating isn't it @LucyCL

Floomobal · 02/08/2024 12:16

Nice to hear from the people waiting, as well as the BFPs!

@OneNotDone I think I’m 7dpo today. Managed to stick to the SMEP routine apart from the very last sex on CD20, but hopefully that wasn’t the important one! AF due on the 9th, so hoping not to test before that! It’s hard to resist though…

Mattietoes · 02/08/2024 12:17

I'm on CD30 now and still no AF - 4 days late (normally 26 day cycle) but if I did ovulate late I would only be 7dpo. Tested this morning but BFN. Feel quite odd - lots of odd sensations in pelvis/back, intermittent nausea, and (weirdly) night terrors! But still think most likely AF will turn up at some point.

ByJollyZebra · 02/08/2024 12:22

I'm just impatiently waiting for my period to start now. Flo app thinks I'm 3 days late, premom app thinks that I'm 1 day late but tested negative this morning. I think I'm 14dpo today and probably out for this month. Still keep clinging to the possibility of late implantation which could mean hcg isn't showing yet? But there's so many people who get early positives.

Keeping everything crossed for everyone and congratulations on the BFPs x

Yes, I still find myself sometimes randomly checking any information about 2WW even I already know what to expect. 😂 I am happy about this cycle being back to normal and everything is looking positive on Mira and OvuSense. Good luck to you this cycle!

Mrsttcno1 · 02/08/2024 19:05

Hi everyone! Can’t quite believe it as I have my nearly 4 month old baby sat on my knee, but I will now be joining the August testing after a broken condom incident typically right in the middle of my fertile week!

Amy341 · 02/08/2024 19:24

Hey ladies! Hope you don’t mind me joining ☺️I’m 6DPO today and starting to feel symptoms.. feeling nauseous but has anyone ever had excess saliva as a pregnancy symptom? It’s been driving me mad today!

Sofita90 · 03/08/2024 17:41

Hi all,
I wanted to check in with those of you who have positive pregnancy tests. How are you feeling? I have sore breasts, increased clear discharge, and lower back pain. However, I'm constantly stressed about how the pregnancy is progressing. I'm always worried about a miscarriage and constantly checking for blood. I'm also very cautious about what I eat, and every abdominal pain causes me stress. For instance, today I was in a squat position and felt a pain when I stood up, and I haven't stopped thinking something might be wrong.
How are you feeling?
i was wondering are there any tests that can offer reinsurance in this stage of 5 weeks ?

Mattietoes · 04/08/2024 08:24

9DPO and BFN :( Starting to feel quite downcast - and if I'm not pregnant I'm confused about why I'm suddenly having such a long cycle!
