Can I join please?

Currently 4dpo and period is due on 1st August.

It's our first cycle trying to conceive our second child and I'd forgotten how much time slows down in the TWW! It feels like an eternity!

I hope everyone gets the result they want.

Kiwiburgh · 21/07/2024 19:51

I was going to try and wait until 12dpo but I'm probably going to cave at 10dpo 🫠

I’m 4DPO too, fingers crossed for us 🤞

I really hope this is a lucky thread for us! 🤞🍀

Hi ladies
I took a step back last month again as I was unwell with hemorrhagic cyst rupture and other new cysts found.
But I think I'm 2dpo today (not confirmed with bbt on natural cycles yet ) since yesterday my boobs are so sore like hurts to even move sore. They've swollen aswell.
It just feels different to all the other months even when I have got a bfp and unfortunately ended in miscarried or chemical this time feels different.
On my app, it states AF is due 1st August but this could change when natural cycles confirm ovulation from bbt.
yesterday my bbt has been above cover line and the same this morning above cover line but lower than yesterday.
I'm hopeful tomorrow all will be confirmed.
I'm not testing until Af is due I've been here so many times before and even with a bfp I know to well it might not go my way when testing before Af due .
I hope the 2ww isnt to stressful for everyone.
I find going on long walks after work helps even when it rains.
Baking
Cleaning.
Booking holidays my husband would probably disagree with this 1 ha

Evening everyone, how are we all doing? I’m currently five dpo and a massive mix of emotions. This was our first month trying to add to our family. I think I ovulated on Wednesday and then on Friday or family dog passed away. I’ve been in bits. The whole thing has put a damper on this month, but I suppose the stress of all will make it more unlikely anyway. The idea of another baby filled me with joy and although it still does obviously now I feel like I could be seen to be replacing a void due to the timing of it all. I know it sounds daft but my head is just a mess. I already have two kids and I feel like I need to be completely there for them rather than suffering (badly) with sickness as I always do from very early on.
Anyway, I’m not sure I’m getting ahead of myself as chances of me getting a positive in month one is very low anyway … I’m sitting here at five dpo with cramps and wondering …. What if. ❤️ maybe it was meant to be this timing x anyone else at 5dpo feeling emotional for the next week to come? Where are my early testers at ! That’s normally me but I haven’t been bought any in!!

Hi everyone,

I've been watching this thread for a couple of weeks, waiting for ovulation to come! We're TTC baby 1, and on cycle 2. Although this is our first cycle where I'm using LH tests. Not yet tracking BBT - I dont want to overwhelm myself too early on. I'm on CD13 and have regular cycles of 30 days so will be testing early August.

I wondered if anyone had much experience with the clear blue tests (purple ones)? I've been using both these and the easy @ home ones with the premom app, testing every morning and evening since my period finished.

I think I ovulate around CD14 most months based on what I've inputted into Flo for the past few years, and often get ovulation pain around then. Today is CD13 so am expecting ovulation. However, I'm confused by the LH tests!

Yesterday morning I got the circle on the clear blue tests, and this morning it was a solid smiley so no flashing smiley in between. I know LH can rise fast so would assume I'd have got flashing later in the day yesterday.

The bit that is then confusing me though is that the easy @ home test this morning was pretty dark, but still shows as 'low', despite the graph predicting my peak will be later today. (The graph after yesterdays tests predicted ovulation CD23 so its come forwards a lot!).

I've attached some photos of my LH strips so far, the premom graph, and this mornings tests.

Does anyone have any experience of the clear blue tests identifying peak a lot sooner than other tests? Or does anyone have experience of the premom app going from low to peak very rapidly (within a 12hr window as mine is predicting)?

Hi, just a quick reply sorry!
Was yesterday the 1st time you took the Clear blue test?
You always get a circle on the first day of testing when it's checking your baseline

I'm so sorry, that is a huge loss. Pets are very precious and important members of the family.

I am 4dpo I think - not entirely sure of ovulation day but probably Friday or Saturday. Trying to decide whether to do a test next week or just wait for AF. Zero symptoms currently but then I wouldn't expect any this early! So just a waiting game.

Thanks so much for replying! No I took it for the first time on Sunday when I also got the circle, but perhaps it just needs a few more days to set baseline - I probably should've started with the clear blue sooner but they are quite pricey so wanted to wait until closer to ovulation haha

OneNotDone · 23/07/2024 10:46

Hey cycle buddy @Floomobal how's things? We've managed to DTD the last 3 days, hopefully again today. I'm due to ovulate today but I'm also due to run out of test strips today 🙄guess I'll be nipping to boots later!

Floomobal · 23/07/2024 12:11

Hi @OneNotDone things feel slow here! I’ve only had flashing smiley faces so far, and we’ve been DTD every second day. Plan is 3 days in a row from when I get the static smiley. But every test just feels like a waiting game at the moment!

Ive definitely had niggly discomfort on my left side, so I think ovulation isn’t far off…

Hope everything is on track for you!

Pipersgirl · 23/07/2024 12:52

Hi everyone, room for one more?

I am cycle 3 TTC baby number 2. Our son is going to be 4 soon, and we decided it’s time to give him a sibling!
12 DPO today and very negative early response test, so fairly sure I’m out this month. Hoping for better luck next month, so place marking for cycle 4 and August!
I hope you’re all holding up ok in this crazy journey xx

Thank you ! That’s very sweet of you.
I don’t think I have any symptoms either. I have just caved and ordered some tests on Amazon, the first cheapies will arrive tomorrow. I’ll still try and hold off tomorrow but it’s always more dangerous when they are in the house 😂🤭 I wish I could just sit and wait for AF. I told myself I’d be relaxed this time but here we are 🙀

I'm obsessed with POAS 😝 though I'd love to not, I just need to know!
CD 11 here so started testing today.
Hoping I ovulate a bit earlier again this month instead of day 17/18 as usual

I’m impressed you lasted till cycle day 11.. wasn’t me just trying to work out when I got my bfp last time on which cycle day etc and googling how early can you get a bro on numerous brands of tests 🥺😂

Plumchumm · 23/07/2024 21:29

Hi girls 🩷 we are ttc #1. Took a break for 2 months due to an ectopic, thankfully it was resolved without surgery. Now this is first month back, I’m 5dpo. On cusp of having sore boobs, and been nauseous all day. (But that’s just the cycle)

what’s everyone’s symptoms?

Sorry to hear about your ectopic. 6DPO here, second cycle after an MMC. Bit crampy today, trying to hold out till 10DPO to test.

Kiwiburgh · 23/07/2024 21:50

7dpo today and times going very slow. No symptoms. Trying to hold out testing until at least 10dpo 😅

Exact same here. Very niggly cramping on my right side today and I feel very emotional for some reason 🤷‍♀️ hope it’s not just PMS.

Mattietoes · 24/07/2024 15:48

5dpo I think - felt nauseous earlier and a bit crampy now, but I know this will be related to other things as it's far too early.

Wondering about people's attitude to alcohol during TWW?

ByJollyZebra · 24/07/2024 16:02

@Mattietoes I'm 5dpo too i think and I had an awful night sleep, felt so nauseous and cramps but I know deep down that its too early!
I'm so impatient when it comes to the TWW!
Keeping my fingers crossed for us all x

Plumchumm · 24/07/2024 17:12

I’m 6dpo today. Literally zero symptoms apart from the odd nausea. I don’t even have my usual sore boobs which I have by now

@Mattietoes i don’t drink at all during ttc, but especially wouldn’t during 2ww just because I have had early losses before and so I try not to affect anything while it’s implanting

moosey89 · 24/07/2024 17:29

@Mattietoes there's a saying "drink til it's pink", so until you get a positive, but it's really a personal thing. I don't drink a lot anyway, so the odd glass of wine with Sunday lunch I'm happy having during the 2ww. I've had multiple miscarriages and been on a really long TTC journey so far (4.5 years actively trying, plus a 2.5 year gap in the middle for personal reasons). I don't want to miss out on things every 2 weeks of my life, otherwise I don't feel like I'm living.

Floomobal · 24/07/2024 17:49

@Mattietoes i don’t drink much at all, but I follow the “drink til you see pink” because last month I didn’t even have a sip of wine, and it felt like putting my life on hold for what ifs. It’s so personal though.

I drank a bottle of Port with my DP a couple of days before I found out I was pregnant, and my toddler is fine (obviously I wouldn’t have drunk if I’d have known)!

Everything in moderation seems ok to me.

Mattietoes · 25/07/2024 11:59

I am soooo confused!! I thought I was 6dpo today, mainly going on Flo's prediction of ovulation. Getting persistent ovary-type twinges so, just out of interest, did an LH test and it came up blazing positive! I'm CD21 - is it possible that I'm only now approaching ovulation?? My cycle is normally only 26-28 days and when I had my chemical I'm pretty sure I ovulated around CD13. Now thinking we should DTD today/tomorrow/Saturday to try to capture it??

Also did a pregnancy test which was definitely negative so sadly that's not the explanation!
