Hi ladies, CD 1 - today - ready and feeling good about a new cycle and will be testing beginning of August

Booked in for fertility tests at the end of July and hoping to find some answers or help at that time

Anyone with me?

I've read that lh seems to rise late afternoon so best to test then (and this is also what I see)
But if you're using the clear blue digital OPKs you're to take them with FMU because they also test your oestrogen

Which tests do you use?

@Floomobal i think afternoon is best to test. Anyway in my experience this month that was the first time I ovulated the spike was huge and sudden next day the levels were low again. We did DTD the day of the spike twice the day after once and once the next day. So hopefully we did match the ovulation day. If I indeed ovulated the day after the LH spike then this should be Tuesday so now I am 2 days after ovulation.

@spamOFtheDAY im going to use the clearblue digital, which say to use in the morning. I didn’t realise it’s because of testing both hormones!

@Sofita90 ive always read that afternoon is best. I suppose I have to follow the instructions on my tests for now, and hope I see a rise with FMU. Goodluck - sounds like you timed it all well!

Hi everyone, can I join please? Currently cycle day 13 and really really hoping for a positive test in August!

What do you all think to this ovulation test? Am i getting close to it being positive?

Said I wasn’t going to test for ovulation but obviously failed at CD10 😂 glad I did though as I’ve just had my peak this morning on CD11 which is the earliest it’s been in 6 months! Not sure that’s a good thing for conceiving but glad I know, think I’ll keep testing anyway in case this was a failed ovulation & I peak again a bit later.

@TheKhakiLion thats lucky that you tested! I tested today at CD10 but was negative. I’m expecting ovulation to be a week or so away, but will see…

My predicted ovulation day today and I am cramping so it could be right. OPKs fairly dark yesterday but no peak and didn't seem to rise over course of day so a bit confused... EWCM still conspicuously absent... It's all so confusing!

That is lucky you tested! Have you managed to DTD?

Do you get ovulation pain?
I seem to have noticed it more since I had MC in Jan - not sure if it's because I'm more aware of what my body is doing now

Pretty sure it's O day today as seemed to get peak yesterday afternoon and cramping today.

Managed to DTD yesterday and 3DBO

Not sure I dare suggest DTD again tonight and just leave it at that 🤷‍♀️

I don't particularly notice ovulation pain but have definitely had some cramping today.

Annoyed with myself as I put on some perfume this evening and then remembered it's meant to be avoided when TTC - argh! I only had it on for a few hours and it's the only time I've worn it, so surely it can't be too catastrophic?! Honestly all the things that have to be avoided, feel like I'm going mad sometimes...

3dpo, Af due the begining of August.
This is cycle #2. We dtd 5,4 and 1 day before ovulation so I'm not that hopeful. Seemed to have good ewcm 5 and 4 days before ovulation but by my peak it had all dried up 🤷‍♀️

I'm very similar! 1DPO today so let the anxiety and stress for the next 2 weeks commence! 😩

We managed day 3 and 4 before and day of ovulation. Had a lot of ewcm this week, much more than usual so hoping this month might be a little different!

I've had all my hormones checked, ultrasound and hubby sperm booked for 2 weeks and they do say when you stop stressing and leave the technicalities to someone else it happens! But I think I've said that for 5 months now 😅

I think I'm 1dpo too, I was going to try and be so chilled out about it all this month but I know that's not going to happen! 2 weeks seems forever away!

We also have fertility tests booked on Friday, which I hoped would take the stress out but it hasn't changed a thing!

I wanted to try to DTD last night but I didn't want to push it (and we were camping with our toddler!) so only DTD peak day and 3 + 5 DBO

Looks like a few of us are at the same stage now.

When will you start testing - I'm the worst at waiting!!

@spamOFtheDAY I only test now the day my period is due (I've had a crappy TTC journey and found seeing negatives just makes me sad/costs unnecessary money). Today is ovulation for me so that'll mean testing around the 2nd August I think.

3DPO here, the waiting is soooo long!

The first week I can last but after 7 DPO I usually bleed so start testing praying it's implantation knowing it's not and driving myself extra crazy!

@moosey89 looks like our cycles are still in sync! AF predicted to arrive on the 3rd & I won’t be testing before.

Took a step back from MN after obsessively thinking about ttc for the first two months. Helpfully been distracted by the fact that I’ve just got engaged!!!

I’ve been testing for ovulation for the first time this cycle. Today is CD10 and I had a flashing smiley face - does this seem very early?! I’m worried that it’s not working properly, but will keep going and see if i get a solid smiley. DTD every second day at the moment - luckily have a very accommodating DP 😅
