5 days late, had slight blood the day after I was due when wiping then spend last night in tears as had some brown when I wiped.

woke up this morning and decided to test again as no actual period yet.

i did 3 tests 🙈 husband can see them too but says we should just stay calm and relax 😂 we’ve been ttc for over 10yrs so we’re both extremely cautious

Oh that’s also interesting. Because the strip tests I’m using are easy at home ones. So that might be why they are so faint 🤞😂

I used the Premom ones which are pretty much the same and mine were faint for a while so I wouldn't worry too much about it. Even testing at 6-7 weeks they would occasionally be a bit fainter. I also wouldn't worry too much if the AF type feelings do come back, as someone else said, if your bleed the other day was AF, it would've kicked in by now. You still not heard back from EPU? May be worth contacting them again and saying you've been waiting since Monday now, even if it is too early to see anything on a scan at present, they can always book you in for one for a couple weeks time?

Soooo….. Drs have just called….. my levels are 60 🙈 but she said she’s got nothing to compare it too…. Duh! So asked if I’d called EPU again and I said they don’t call me back! So she said she can’t contact them so I need to call them and they will advise me what to do.
so I called them. Cried down the phone 🙈 told them my GP is useless and she agreed saying they can contact them. She has promised me a call today, any time from now til 8pm. She said they are probably going to book me in with them for more blood tests which I said I’d told the dr to do. And go from there.

so the waiting game continues. But she did promise me a call today so we shall see. Currently sat in my car crying as the levels are so low and I feel like I’m being pushed from pillar to post!

When you say you'd be 4 weeks going off your last bleed, do you mean AF or miscarriage? If you're going off your loss, you may not be as far along as you think, but still pregnant?

When I was in for an emergency scan, they told me I was a week earlier than I thought (with me going off LMP), but as mine are irregular, they take it from when my next period would be due (if that makes sense? It's confusing I know). Still though, 25 & up is positive for pregnancy I'm sure

I’m saying 4 weeks based on the miscarriage so it could be earlier than that. I’m just so confused right now 😢

Oh no hope you're ok. Do you think you ever do slightly still have hormones in your system from the miscarriage & your af will just be a bit later this month? I know it's upsetting but if I was you I'd be waiting (probably wanting) the af now for a rest/reset glass of Prosecco! And then ttc after af has passed.

Try not to panic too much. (Easier said than done)
A normal level from the day your period is due is between 40 to 120 so 60 is in the normal range xxx

Wishing you luck! And I just wanted to say my HCG was 16 at just over 4 weeks. I was devastated. However, 2 days later it was over 40. It was a healthy pregnancy (and baby!). So don’t worry about the numbers - push for that 2nd blood test and you’ll finally have a bit more understanding. Wishing you lots of luck xx

Wow iv no idea about the numbers but this sounds so promising 

@DoraBella88 yes push for that second blood test. These numbers then point to a fresh pregnancy and not connected to previous.

EPU just called!!!!! The lady was so lovely!!! She apologised for the way I’ve been treated, which made me cry 😭

she said these levels would be what they expect in very early pregnancy, approx 2 weeks. She said they need to do another blood tests (which we knew) so I need to go in tomorrow lunch time as it will be exactly 48 hours after the last ones. She said they would expect to see them at least double if it was a new pregnancy but if it increases by a certain % then that would be ok too but they’d repeat the blood tests again.

if the levels stay the same or similar that would indicate tissue left behind in which case they would do a scan.

I will get the results by the end of the day tomorrow

Thank you everyone. I feel relieved that I feel like I’ve finally been listened to and was shown a bit of care and compassion.
At this stage I just want answers so if there’s something left from my MC then fine, I know what I’m dealing with. If it’s a new little bean then amazing! But at this stage I just need answers

I wouldn't be too disheartened by that 60, but that's easier said than done, and given none of us know what will be I'll just keep hoping for you to be treated well and get an answer quickly.

honestly I just keep crying. I think it’s the relief that I’m finally going to get some answers. Whatever comes I can deal with it. But this limbo land is just torture.

the lady I spoke with was so so lovely. She explained all possible outcomes and what would happen next if it was each one. So I really do feel that whatever the results are tomorrow I will be looked after regardless.

My boss is being incredible and has just told me to do what i need to do. Luckily we are very quiet tomorrow so me leaving won’t interrupt my shop.

today is answers day. To say I’m scared would be an understatement! But I just keep telling myself that at least I’ll know what’s going on. I’m working this morning so will try and keep
myself busy before I have to leave for the hospital. My husband is meeting me there and coming to hold my hand 😂

I managed not to test this morning. I didn’t see the point as it wouldn’t actually tell me anything. So we will just wait and see what the results come back at.

Ah your husband is a gem, mine absolutely hates needles so never wants to be anywhere near unless he absolutely has to 🤣
