The tww feels like forever! I'm hoping to find cycle buddies! Looking forward to symptom spotting, testing and everything else!😅

Hey! Yep I'm 1dpo today. DTD this morning just to cover all bases. Now... We wait 😬 my LP is usually very short (9/10 days) so probably going to wait until I've made it to 12dpo with no AF to test.

How many dpo are you ?

My app says I'm ovulating today, although from the opks I think I ovulated yesterday. I've attached a picture as I'm not 100% sure. We've DTD for the past 5 consecutive days, hopefully again today and tomorrow. I'm exhausted!😅

I’ll jump on here if that’s okay! 🙋🏼‍♀️ I’m DPO 4 today so slightly ahead but I also have short luteal phases.

@amichel those peaks look good! Fingers crossed for you 🤞🏼 sounds like you covered all bases! We managed to miss actual ovulation day this month as had something planned all day but DTD the day before and 2 days before, and the day after. So hoping that was enough because I am also knackered!! 😂

@amichel wow it sounds like you've given yourself the best chance possible! I'm TTC my second, first DC is 3. We're on cycle 3 but didn't time things well the first couple of goes.

We managed to do O-2 and O+1 so not great but hoping there's a small chance...

I have 15 days from ovulation to period. I have the easy @ home pregnancy tests ready and waiting to be used😅

I'm hoping so! I don't think we did it enough on the last cycle. I think we did it once before ovulation and once after.
I'm in a similar position! My DD is 3 in September and this is our 2nd cycle of trying. I had the coil out in April.

Thought I'd jump in, not a clue how many DPO I am or if I even ovulated as I gave up checking due to having a period every 2 weeks since February. This month however I am currently on cycle day 17 and my usual every 2 week period has not appeared yet. It could be my body just deciding now is time for periods to go back to normal, or could I be pregnant 🤔

We have DTD quite a lot since my last period and I have been feeling a little off. Had a random pelvic stabbing pain one time, boobs been hurting on and off, currently got an awful sore throat and i feel like I am noticing smells more.

God knows how many DPO I would be if I did ovulate as my cycles are all over the place 🤷‍♀️ last period started 10 June so I guess I'll just have to give it till maybe 7/8 July before I test if a period dosn't show before then.

Every 2 weeks must be a nightmare! Did you come off any contraception that caused a bleed every 2 weeks?
It's possible you've ovulated already then?
Oh that's interesting! Do you usually experience ovulation pain? I just tend to get a pressure type of feeling with lots of bloating.

I did come off contraception last year but they were fine for a while after that, I think it's due to dramatic weight loss. (7 stone loss since October 2023) and think that's just thrown my hormones all out of whack.

Don't usually get any sort of stabbing pains no and my usual every 2 week period just appears without warning so the fact I'm getting some symptoms is making me wonder 🤔

Also forgot but last night I was getting lumbar pain too and have had a headache behind my eye this morning. Honestly god knows lol all will be revealed in the end x

Wow that's a huge achievement!
It's so hard not to symptom spot isn't it?! I always have some mild cramping around ovulation, and I've read spotting can be a sign of implantation.
I'm so anxious during the TWW x

AF should be around 1st July normally, although I will only be 9 DPO then as I ovulated late, so assuming I still get a minimum of 10 days in the luteal phase should be around 2/3rd July?

I’m going to test at the weekend, maybe Saturday as I’m out with a friend Saturday night and if there’s no line I’ll be having a wine 😂

Ive literally ordered some easy @ home pregnancy tests today haha snap! All ready to use. It’s so tempting though even though it’s ridiculous to test on DPO 4 😭.

This is only my second month of trying. I got married in April and came straight off the pill then so I think things are still settling down too. I’m not very hopeful about a BFP right now (just a feeling) but I guess implantation wouldn’t have even happened yet so maybe that will change?!

How long have you been TTC? How have you found it so far? I’ve forgotten how many DPO you are sorry, when you going to try a test? The testing is making me really stressed so not sure if I’ll be doing it every month.

Thank you! Yeah I have random little cramps and twinges as I'm typing this. But I know what will happen I have a vaginal ultrasound Friday (because not only are my periods every 2 weeks they are also horrendously heavy) so period will decide to say hello Thursday night. I know it will happen because it's just my luck and then I'll have to reschedule scan.

That being said if by some miracle I was pregnant and period dosn't come do we think the vaginal ultrasound would show anything? Or would it be wayyyyy too soon for anything to be seen?

Oh I'm crazy! I want to test from 1dpo😂 The easy@home tests seem easier to read as they're wider than the cheap strips.
It can take a few minutes for your body to adjust can't it? I feel the same. I struggle to think I'm pregnant when I can't feel anything.
This is our second cycle trying, only came off contraception in April.
I'm 1dpo I think. I plan to test from 8dpo which will be 3rd July onwards. Early testing really helps me with my anxieties. I feel more at ease knowing (roughly) what to expect towards the end of the cycle.

Hi all, so if I’ve read up correctly I think my ovulation day is today as my peak was yesterday.
this is month 2 of trying after coming off the pill again.
my LO is 22 months and it took 2 rounds of ttc with him so I’m hoping it’ll be roughly the same.
my period is due the 12th so we’ll see what happens. I knew about 2dpo last time and tested on day 10 so will try hang fire this time also but I’m awful for symptom spotting 🤣
convinced myself last month I was.
currently got cramps and I’m already reading into that 🤣

It's always the way isn't it! Last month I went to Asda to buy a pregnancy test and as soon as I put it in the trolley AF arrived!😅
Ohh I'm not sure, I would definitely ask before the ultrasound.
How are the twinges? I've had a dull ache at the bottom of abdomen and some serious bloating, but I'm sure I felt similar to this last month x

last time even at 1dpo I got really sharp pains near my belly button and my nipples hurt something I’d never had.
then each day after I got cramps, twinges etc and by day 4dpo the nausea started and didn’t leave till week 19. it was crazy how quickly symptoms started.

Oh that's interesting as my nipples are so sensitive which they never are. That's crazy!

I might test on the 7th purely because I have a spa weekend away with my sister and it’s my first night away from my nearly 2yr old, so I want to enjoy a little cocktail or two 😬

Still been having twinges but as predicted day before I'm due a vaginal scan at around 5pm today had a small amount of brown blood when wiping. Could be implantation but much more likely my period starting up again. Shall see if it progresses tomorrow or not. At least if it is another period I got to cycle day 18 😂 usually it's only 14/15

So had my vaginal scan this morning seeing as still only had tiny bit of pink when I wiped this morning and good news, my ovaries and womb all look fine no issues and she confirmed that I ovulated from the left this month and she estimated around 7-10 days ago so if this bleeding dosn't get any heavier then it very well could be implantation!

My heavy and frequent periods are most likely caused by hormones being all over the shot, so that is reassuring.

I'm really trying to put it to the back of my mind, but it's nearly impossible!x
