The biochemical correlation relates to Biochemical markers. In other words, the ultrasound scan doesn't not have sufficient data so a PCOS blood test is needed to determine if it is actually PCOS.
Here is what I found:
"To receive a diagnosis of PCOS, you must meet two of the following criteria: irregular ovulation, which is usually indicated by an irregular menstrual cycle or a lack of a cycle. signs of increased androgen levels or a blood test confirming you have increased levels. multiple small cysts on the ovaries."
I have regular ovulation
Based on the PCOS blood test I did last cycle, I didn't have signs of increased androgen levels
I have multiple small cysts on the ovaries
I did one PCOS blood test from Medichecks on 25/6/24 and I was still in the follicular phase and the doctor thought I was in the luteal phase. My LH was pretty low and it was CD 16 so the doctor assumed that I had ovulated already.
Please see the screenshots. In the doctor's comment, I don't have PCOS based on the biochemical markers.
This cycle I did another PCOS blood test in a private clinic on CD3 to make sure everything was fine. I am still waiting for the result.
After my 1st MC at the beginning of March, I bought a different brand of Myo-Inositol from Amazon
EN Myo-Inositol Chromium & Folate Blend | 1000mg Myo Inositol Per Serving | 180 Vegan Capsules | Supplements for Female Support | Vitamins for Women | Non GMO | Gluten & Allergen Free | Made in The UK
https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B08DY37Y89?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details&th=1
I took it for 3 months then stopped at the end of May.
This cycle I decided to try Zita West's Myo-Inositol and folate from CD2 so I couldn't tell you if it is good.
Here is what I found:
"Myo-inositol can be absorbed by your body quickly as it's water-soluble with high bioavailability (the extent and rate at which myo-inositol enters your systemic circulation). It starts taking action straight away, but it takes longer to see noticeable results."
It improves the quality of eggs and promotes ovulation. It takes 3 months for an egg to mature so I think we will have to take Myo-inositol for 3 months to ensure us to release a good quality egg.
I am not taking any medications so I have decided to take LDA (75 mg) when CBFM shows its first "High".
For the luteal phase, I also plan to eat 3 brazil nuts per day.
Here is what I found:
"Brazil Nuts: These large and hearty nuts are not only high in selenium but also act as antioxidants, which are needed to prevent chromosomal damage in both egg and sperm. "
"A fertilized egg burrows into uterine lining about a week after ovulation, so consume 2-3 brazil nuts per day, from the day of ovulation - until 10 days post ovulation. Brazil nuts must be fresh and raw only, not roasted or cooked"
One more thing is L-Arginine, Spirulina, chia seeds and Flax seeds are good for the eggs.
