I'm new here and ttc in June. Today is CD1. Good luck everyone! 🍀💛

NoisyBee · 14/05/2024 11:17

I'm going to join! AF arrived today :( so looks like. CD1 again. Short luteal phase so if anyone has any tips to try this cycle to lengthen it ! I ovulated quite late (day 21) and then have a normal length cycle (28-29 days )

LucyCL · 14/05/2024 12:06

Hello, may I join please? I used to have a 28 day cycle then I had a MC (6 weeks and 1 day) in March and waited to get my period (it took 35 days). I ovulated on CD17 then I had a CP (4 weeks and 6 days) last Tuesday. I stopped bleeding yesterday. Today is CD8 for me so I don't know what is happening to my cycle however I will try again this cycle!

As much as I would like to help you, I cannot because my cycles are getting longer due to MCs. However here is what I found on google: "Regular folic acid can actually help regulate your menstrual cycle. This can cause your period to arrive slightly later than usual."

beezoh · 14/05/2024 16:09

Hello! New here.
Cd5 for me.

I'm 37 and I have a 12yo and have had multiple MC over the years. TTC a few years back again, after 9 months nothing so gave up and accepted that that was it.
(I also have an underactive thyroid and have read that can play a part in all of this, no one had told me this before!) levels are balanced but have bloods booked in next week to check everything.

Here I am 3 years later and I've mustered up the mental strength to try again.

I know it's going to be an emotional journey but hoping it's a healthy one for us all.

RRAEE · 16/05/2024 09:21

AF showed this morning so moving over from the May Thread. On to cycle 6/7 😕 hopefully this cycle brings better news.

Baby dust to all ✨

NoisyBee · 17/05/2024 06:57

Hopefully this is our month ❤️
Does anyone's OH take any supplements ? I am currently taking vitamin c, vitamin b complex and the seven seas trying to conceive tablet daily but just wondered if I should suggest anything for him ? No indication he has any issues.. I am taking vitamins as I have a short luteal phase and late ovulation so hoping it will help?

imy · 17/05/2024 11:00

Hi everyone! I am so excited to see this thread because I've been waiting for June to start TTC our second. Out first baby turned 1 last month and we'd really like them to have a roughly two year age gap so hoping this goes smoothly for us. I've come off the pill and I'm really pleased that my cycle seems to be normal and I did ovulate as normal this month. Just waiting for my period to come (should be this weekend) and then ready to go!! We only want to have two children so going to try to really enjoy every part of this. With my first I just wanted it to all be over!

My OH is taking proceive conception men, proceive omega 3 and Kaneka Ubiquinol, Premium CoQ10 Supplement.
I am taking proceive conception women, proceive omega 3, vitamin E, Black Maca complex, Vitamin C, Magnesium, Vitamin B6, Vitamin D3 and EN Myo-Inositol Chromium & Folate Blend.
I had a MC on 4/3/24 and a CP on 7/5/24 so I take lots of vitamins to regulate my hormones and I was told that I had PCOS in March after the MC so I started to take EN Myo-Inositol Chromium & Folate Blend. Then I did a health check on 25/3/24 and I was told that I didn't have PCOS (so either EN Myo-Inositol Chromium & Folate Blend helped or the first person who informed me about PCOS made a mistake)

Hello 👋 hoping to join this thread. I’m 29 ttc #1 and had my implant removed 14/05/24. Not sure what CD I am on as I had irregular bleeding on the implant and am yet to get my period post removal. We’re trying to take things as they come & DTD every other day but I’ve also started tracking BBT as I’d like to know my body is working properly and ovulating. Have read several stories of people conceiving before AF arrives so I will test around 07/06/24 but expect it to be negative.

LindyMoe · 25/05/2024 17:32

Just realised this was created so I've moved over from the March one.

Quick question. Spotting brown today and AF is due tomorrow. Gutted.
Should I drink tonight on my night out or wait for full blown AF?

CSmith1 · 26/05/2024 00:32

Hi everyone, currently on our third cycle of clomid. Have had two false positives the last two cycles so it's been pretty emotionally draining. Hoping this third cycle will be it for us but probably not. Having a break after this one as clomid really messes with my emotions!

Biggest of luck to everyone TTC in June, this will be the month for you!! ✨✨✨

LindyMoe · 26/05/2024 06:38

Onto cycle #5 ... AF arrived 😭

LindyMoe · 26/05/2024 07:41

What's really really depressing me is this:

My DS is 4... I'm not even pregnant so the age gap will be huge. Have I failed him?

jellyfish2 · 26/05/2024 08:36

Was hoping I wouldn't find myself on this board but unfortunately here I am. After my MMC and surgery in February I'm convinced there's something not right as I conceived so quickly with my successful pregnancy and the MC. Since the surgery I've had really bad cramps a week before my period arrives but I don't think the GP would do anything at this point would they?

@LindyMoe you haven't failed your DS please don't worry about that but I do understand your feelings. I hoped for a 3ish year age gap which I was going to have until I had the MC but now I'll be lucky if it's 4 years. It's so stressful isn't it, I find myself in tears a lot of the time but I don't think anyone would understand so I just keep it to myself.

KittyFantastica · 26/05/2024 10:43

Hello ladies,

I was mid-cycle until four days ago. I thought I was just spotting, but it's turned into what seems to be a light period. Spotted for two days, then stopped, now it seems to be light flow. Devastating as this was my first cycle post-D&C after MMC in March. I'm upset at how long it's taking my body to recover from this as I had a chemical before the MMC and conceived off the back of the chemical. It took 7 weeks for my first AF after the surgery and, despite ovulating day 15, looks like I'm back to square one after just four days in luteal phase. I'm scared for what it means going forward. I was always lucky to have a clockwork cycle before, so not used to not being able to predict everything. We weren't even properly trying this month, but to not even be able to have my cycle normal again is a real kick in the teeth.

I guess I'm CD6 now.

Irish812 · 26/05/2024 16:44

Hello all, moving over from May thread. I'm on cycle 5 ttc first baby. Should be ovulating tomorrow or Tues. Fx for everyone this cycle.

LindyMoe · 26/05/2024 16:53

@jellyfish2 sorry to hear about your MC - I can't imagine planning for the arrival and then things changing. I can't make heads or tails of why these things happen, but you can pregnant so I'm hoping it happens again successfully for you

@KittyFantastica how much time were you advised recovery would be? I only ask because I'm wondering if perhaps you're putting too much pressure on yourself give what you've been through? Through TTC we're very good at doing that unfortunately

KittyFantastica · 26/05/2024 17:41

Hi @LindyMoe, they just said some ladies get a period four weeks after the surgery and for some it takes a lot longer. I had positive pregnancy tests all the way up until the 7 week mark when my period arrived, and had to be scanned twice to check for retained tissue. There wasn't any either time, they did a HCG blood test and confirmed it was going down just very, very slowly, but they said it was a mystery as to why it was happening so slowly for me. They said I didn't have to wait for the first period, but it's good for dating, etc. The thing is, until the period, my tests were still positive anyway so I'd have had no way of knowing whether I'd ovulated and had a new pregnancy or was just testing positive with the previous one.

TTC can be so stressful as you say, it we weren't even really trying this month, I was just tracking to make sure I ovulated and my cycle was back to normal. I worried about not ovulating, but I never dreamed I'd have to worry about a 4 day luteal phase. The stress now is horrible. I've no idea whether it will be life this next time or go back to normal. Could be one month, or could be many or even a year. It's so upsetting.

LK2610 · 26/05/2024 19:32

Marking my place here. AF due Wednesday next week and I’m 99% sure she’s coming

OnePinkDuck · 26/05/2024 19:41

Hey all, I didn’t join the May thread but heading into cycle 5. AF due Tues-Thurs but 99% sure I’m out this cycle so just waiting for AF to arrive to start again.

Good luck everyone!

meggie1tr · 26/05/2024 19:58

We're hoping to start our TTC journey in June. Not sure if it will be possible though.

I was expecting my first period since coming off the pill to start last week and it's still a no show 😩 never thought I'd be willing my period to start 😂

ClassicQuill · 26/05/2024 20:13

Hello, I'd like to join. 34 and TTC my first baby, starting this month. I have no idea what some of the acronyms are or what I'm doing (other than the obvious!).

I have PCOS and do take myo-inositol. My periods are regular-ish now. I'm two days since the end of my last period, not sure which CD that makes me?

We're just planning to DTD every other day, so we'll see!

Can I ask what Myo-Inositol does? And would you recommend taking it?

I also have PCOS and I see lots of people talking about it but I've never really looked into it.
