11dpo bfn.. but was so convinced I’m pregnant?!

Hi, like the title says I’m now 11dpo and have had a BFN on a ic and boots early detection this morning. Feeling really down about it as I was sure I was pregnant. I’ve been having bad cramping for the last 4ish days and some nausea, I feel just like I have with my previous 3 pregnancies but with them I got BFP by 11dpo.

I’ve read lots of conflicting stuff, some saying 11dpo is still early while others saying if you definitely know dates of ovulation (which I do) then a bfn at 11dpo is pretty conclusive.

I’m trying and failing to stop over thinking it. Anyone have a similar experience?

I’m on 12 soo and put a test on here yesterday as I think I’ve got line eyes and someone commented could I have ovulated late? And I’m not 100% sure when I did so the question to you is could you have ovulated later?

Hi, No im pretty certain on ovulation dates.. confirmed with positive OPK and temping using Natural Cycles

In my experience fertility clinics won't confirm or deny a pregnancy until 14dpo if using a urine test and many clinics don't test until 16dpo using urine or 12dpo at the earliest (often 14dpo) if doing a blood test. Personally I had my first super squinters at 9/10dpo but they'd have been easy to read as negative. I'd leave it a few days and test again before ruling yourself out. Good luck.

I’ve been ttc my 3rd for almost 2 yrs following two easy conceptions and one thing I’ve learned is…I’ve been convinced this is it many times, when it’s not, sadly. It’s not to say that you couldn’t yet get a positive but our minds can make symptoms out of anything when in tww. Most women don’t get nauseous before af is due, I don’t think, but any sign of nausea we will pin out hopes on…I hope it’s different for you but for me it’s good to remain fairly neutral on all these apparent symptoms if possible to avoid torment.

This was mine today at 12dpo I think I’m definitely out as AF is due Tuesday. I’m still hoping on a miracle that my BFN turns into a BFP before then though

Thanks for the reply. I know I should just put it to the back of my mind and wait until Tuesday when AF is due, just easier said than done! 😂

Thank you! Yes I was telling myself the same thing about the nausea, I’m possibly just coming down with something. It’s just been the constant cramping that I’ve had with my other pregnancies that made me think this was definitely it. But AF is due on Tuesday so I’ll see if arrives 🤷🏻‍♀️

I hope you get your BFP soon, TTC for 2 years must be extremely tough.

Well you never know with the cramps then - both my previous pregnancies were first cycle so I wasn’t symptom spotting, but with my second I tested when af due and it was a bfn - I only realised there was a line when I picked it out of the bin for a double check an hr later. I don’t know but expect it would’ve been a bfn at 11dpo.

I’ve had the same, it’s confusing and frustrating. I’ve been having cramps, tiredness, sore boobs, and no sign of my period (not due til tomorrow but just feel like it’s not going to come and usually I’d have a bit of brown spotting by now)

I took an early detection test on Thursday - nothing. Then took 2 waitrose own pink dye ones today and they were faulty (nothing came up until I dipped it really far in the wee cup (over the plastic which I know you’re not supposed to do) and t flooded the test with dye. I’ve gone back to check on them a few hours later and they now look negative.

I feel so convinced I’m pregnant but maybe my period will come in a few days. It’s disheartening, took us ages to conceive our first and had 2 losses. This is our first month trying so I was really hoping we’d just get pregnant quickly this time x

Thought I’d let you know to keep some hope I’m 12 dpo and was getting line eyes on test was it or was it not but just got my BFP same day as my BFN … there’s hope for you I pray you get the result you want

I’m having conflicting results. Most of my faint positives come after the 10 minute test window. Does this mean they’re false positives?

I’m not sure I was convinced mine was false positive or eye lines but I wish you goodluck

Its rare to get false positives
But id only pay attention to stuff within the time frame window

I'm 13dpo so I think I'm almost certainly out!
I did all these lovely bfn but that bottom test i can sware I can see something! Suppose I just wait for AF now.

Update!
So I’ve just tested this morning at 12dpo (AF due tomorrow). I did an IC first and thought I saw a faintest hint of a line so I excitedly did a FRER expecting a more clear line and it looked negative, so was very disappointed. But then after about 5 minutes I looked again and there is a very very very faint pink line…
I’ve showed my husband who I thought wouldn’t be able to see it, but he’s agreed there is something there but extremely faint.

I’ll attach pictures although I doubt you’ll be able to see as I struggled to get it to pic up on my camera.

im just worried that it should be darker at 12dpo with AF due tomorrow? What do you all think?

Keep thinking I can maybe see something on your bottom test?

Honestly I was the same yesterday. I couldn’t wait and took a digital I think I must of ovulated late I know you was sure but I think I see something too 🤞
