11dpo bfn.. but was so convinced I’m pregnant?!

Hi, like the title says I’m now 11dpo and have had a BFN on a ic and boots early detection this morning. Feeling really down about it as I was sure I was pregnant. I’ve been having bad cramping for the last 4ish days and some nausea, I feel just like I have with my previous 3 pregnancies but with them I got BFP by 11dpo.

I’ve read lots of conflicting stuff, some saying 11dpo is still early while others saying if you definitely know dates of ovulation (which I do) then a bfn at 11dpo is pretty conclusive.

I’m trying and failing to stop over thinking it. Anyone have a similar experience?

I’m sure mine won’t pick up on a digital as it’s so bloody faint on a frer which are meant to be much more sensitive. Feel like I’m going to be in limbo for the next couple of days 😩

I have a 31 day cycle, I'd ovulated by day 12 of my cycle (fertility clinic told me this as I was there for a scan) I tested early and got a BFN, AF didn't arrive, tested 5 days after AF was due as I thought I was just late after my BFN, I'm now sat here feeding my 16 week old. Good luck

This was mine too one was yesterday was a super faint had to squint and was still maybe eye line and next one today at 13dpo according to last months AF as I wasn’t checking ovulation it’s so much more darker than the pic I must of ovulated later top one 12 dpo bottoms 13 dpo

You're definitely not out. I only got positives the day AF was due.

I think it was a good 2 weeks after I'd ovulated, I remember thinking it's definitely late enough to see a BFP if there's one to be seen!

Exactly - best to wait 2 weeks after ovulation

Just cuz an ovulation stick may say ovulation - it can be 24 - 36 hrs after that 4 some

Then add on 2 weeks waiting

Hi, I'm 15 days dpo and got a faint positive this morning, I got a negative when I tested at 11dpo. Do you have any other symptoms

Thanks for the reply! I’ve also been temping and have ovulation confirmed with Natural Cycles so I’m fairly sure on dates. Hoping I’ve maybe just implanted a little later?

Hi, congrats on your positive test. Did you test between 11dpo and today?
I’ve still just got cramping which I’ve had for the past 5 days now, and some slight nausea but not significant.

No I didn't test again until this morning as I was starting to think I wasn't pregnant. I had cramping for the first few days which seemed very early and some breast tenderness. I've read posts where people say erect nipples Is a sign which I've had for last few days. I didnt have any of these symptoms for first pregnancy but I didn't knlw what to expect. I was pregnant last November and had a miscarriage in January so I was tuned into what it felt like to be pregnant. Weirdly I had a feeling I was pregnant 1 day in!

I hope you get your positive, ill still retest few more times to be sure!

Good luck and let me know how you get on! I feel I’m definitely pregnant I’m just worried about it being so faint at 12dpo, from what I’ve read faint lines at this stage aren’t a good sign for a viable pregnancy..
But there’s nothing I can do so I guess I’ll have to try and get out of my head and see what the next few days bring!

I've just decided to stop torturing myself with line eyes and get a clear blue digital for saturday

I really don’t want to get your hopes up but I was getting completely stark white negatives. Gave up hope, tested on 15dpo because where’s AF? Thought it was far too late and thought I was sure of my ovulation date. Pregnant! I didn’t get a whiff of a line till 15dpo, all the other tests were 100% negative.

The outcome is about to turn 5.

@C903 I'm 10dpo, gone through a full pack of dip tests and a boots early response one already 😅 all negative.

But have had cramps, headaches, fatigue since 4dpo and mild nausea and sore boobs and a pinching pain today....so trying to stay positive

Honestly STAY positive. My lines was soooo faint at 12 dpo BFN at 10dpo yoir not out till your out my lines are still faint today at 13dpo but digital confirmed and they are getting darker your not out till your AF arrives also my boobs only got sore yesterday but headaches for around a week

I have pcos but do ovulate - just not day 14

My 15 dpo may be as late as this fri..

Ive had extra fatigue, nausea , burps.. extra hunger

Morning all, so I’ve tested with a FRER again this morning and it’s pretty much exactly the same as yesterday mornings test, an extremely faint line😕
I’m 13dpo and AF is due today. My temp has dropped ever so slightly this morning so I’ll just have to see if it arrives.
Will attach pic below, but same as yesterday it’s not really picking up on camera.

@VElizabeth I'm 11dpo and exactly the same today. Boots early test completely negative but nauseous as hell now. Having a coffee with a friend who is a doc today so will be pestering her for more info

I think yours is a bit more promising if you’re only 11dpo. When is AF due?
I’m actually a midwife so I feel I know deep down things aren’t looking good! But I’ll just have to wait and see.

@VElizabeth not until Saturday. But have every symptom other than CM. Could you manifest those? I actually feel like I'm going mad every time a negative test comes back.
