11dpo bfn.. but was so convinced I’m pregnant?!

Hi, like the title says I’m now 11dpo and have had a BFN on a ic and boots early detection this morning. Feeling really down about it as I was sure I was pregnant. I’ve been having bad cramping for the last 4ish days and some nausea, I feel just like I have with my previous 3 pregnancies but with them I got BFP by 11dpo.

I’ve read lots of conflicting stuff, some saying 11dpo is still early while others saying if you definitely know dates of ovulation (which I do) then a bfn at 11dpo is pretty conclusive.

I’m trying and failing to stop over thinking it. Anyone have a similar experience?

Hi, this is my test today, a bit more visible but still faint. My AF is due Thursday according to app but I'm convinced i ovulated earlier this month and conceived on same day (i wasnt checking temperature). I haven't tested early like this before so I haven't anything to compare it to, in past i tested day AF was due or after for last two. I had a miscarriage with last pregnancy so really nervous about this one. I think every pregnancy is so different and you do hear of people getting negative tests much later than due date of AF...fingers crossed for you @VElizabeth

I had symptoms very early on too @Cherry85 . Fatigue, sore breasts, even a tiny bit of heartburn. I had feeling I was pregnant but didn't know for sure... hopefully you'll get your positive soon!

I know I’m late to this and I’m about to go read through all 55 replies on this thread lol. But the same happened to me today. Boots early detection was so negative. :( I was so sure I was pregnant. Have so many symptoms and still have the dull achey cramp. Feel so deflated but trying to remain hopeful that I’m not out yet. But sooo hard when all I see on here is everyone saying they got their postive at 8/9dpo?! Feeling sad.

That's very early imo... I don't think I got a positive until 14/15 dpo and that was using test first thing in the morning.

The earliest I got a BFP was 10dpo with a FRER. I think with the slightly less sensitive tests (10miu) 11dpo is more likely - but with the cheap strips they're still proper squinters that early. But don't count yourself out before then.

Took a boots own and got the result in the first picture. Literally couldn’t believe my eyes so did the second test, same brand literally as soon as I needed another wee and total negative. Any ideas?!

@Lbunny99 second one isn't FMU. Either wait until next morning and test again or take a sample of fmu in a wee pot and do multiple tests from it. How many dpo are you?

thank you. I promised myself I wouldn’t test and test but it’s like it consumes me and I turn into an absolute mad woman!!

Brown spotting has started. Just waiting for the flo to arrive properly now. I’m on the couch with chocolate feeling miserable :(
