Ah you have a boy @SnookyPook - they’ll be best of buddies. Sounds like you know how scans can be wrong - hope all goes okay.

All my vitamins arrived today 😀😀 I will just crack on with them I guess?! Why do I feel nervous lol

InWithPeaceOutWithStress · 03/04/2024 11:43

7 days till AF is due and I already feel pre-menstrual. Feel it’s going to be one of those months with extra PMS.

MOGMOGMOG85 · 05/04/2024 05:36

Hi @InWithPeaceOutWithStress - how are you feeling today?

I just took a clesrblue weeks indicator even though I know they are useless and mean nothing. I'm 5 weeks today and i got 3+, so that's great of course, but I still don't feel any better. No nausea, and with my son I had nausea at 4+5. With my MMC I had no nausea - so this is the thing I'm really looking out for. I've had plenty of fatigue, a bit of dizziness, moderately sore boobs, and I'm definitely craving tomato sauce, cabbage, brocolli, fish and black eye beans. I don't feel emotional although I did have to step outside for a breather yesterday when my mum was getting on my nerves.

I feel bad to be posting about my pregnancy worries here on a ttc thread, I just feel like I'm in the worst place right now - waiting for a scan (I'm gonna go at 8 weeks), symptom spotting, and dreading the physical process of a miscarriage if it comes...

InWithPeaceOutWithStress · 05/04/2024 08:00

Hi @MOGMOGMOG85. Thanks for asking. I feel ok other than the low key generalised dread as I wait for AF, due on Weds! You’re a stark reminder that the uncertainty doesn’t end once you get a positive test. I’ve had a MMC previously and I hadn’t been too concerned about that at the time, it came as a shock. I suspect I will also be preoccupied with fears around that if I do get my BFP. Do you have any go-to distraction activities? Is 8 weeks the earliest you can get a scan?

3+ is amazing! Pregnancy after loss is really tough mentally. Try not to torment yourself too much as you really can go mad. I had no nausea/sickness with this pregnancy. Every one really can be different and it isn't necessarily a sign of doom and gloom. There are a couple of threads for pregnancy after loss that are really supportive. I'll try to share a link for you. One day at a time! 💕

MOGMOGMOG85 · 05/04/2024 08:27

@InWithPeaceOutWithStress the wait is awful. I'll cross everything for you for this Wednesday- I hope you get your bfp xx

I'm doing fairly well with distraction as I'm on holiday. Yesterday myself and my partner went for a 4 hour walk, with some stunning views. It was lovely and v rare as we almost never have childcare. Today we're going to a farm park - I'm going to seek out either guinea pigs or baby pigs and that'll be me sorted! It's just first thing in the morning and any time you have pause for thought the doubt creeps in :( how are you distracting yourself for the next few days? Xx

SnookyPook · 05/04/2024 08:33

@MOGMOGMOG85 I've tagged you on a couple of other threads - come say hi if you like 😊

Just check out recommendations around animal petting for at the farm park. Some aren't recommended for pregnant ladies (fine to be there but maybe not touching the animals). Sounds like a lovely day though! And the walk yesterday sounds wonderful! 💗

I already have 3 sons and 1 daughter- carrying my boys I never felt pregnant or anything, just with one of them I bled loads. Now carrying my daughter omg she killed me and sucked the lofe out of me🤣 try not to worry as every pregnancy is different i think. G
congrats on your bfp, im back to ttc again this month for my 5th and final baby 🤞🏼

Lalaland13 · 05/04/2024 14:53

Ohh yes try to stay positive @MOGMOGMOG85 each pregnancy different and still quite early for too many symptoms.

Hope your AF doesn’t come @InWithPeaceOutWithStress

i think I will ovulate Sunday, not DTD yet this cycle but hopefully tomorrow and Sunday. I’m starting to feel a bit like it’s just not going to happen tbh though - it’s hard to get the motivation to keep trying! My little man had a horrible cough so keep waking up at night 🥱 refused a nap today too which is annoying 🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️

ButItHasCheese · 07/04/2024 03:11

I've had AF arrive today (later than usual). Onwards with the next cycle I suppose. Hoping for a few more BFP here while k wait for the next shag week

BiscuitDreams · 07/04/2024 08:59

Here's a bit of comic relief for you all. So I've been taking angus castus this cycle, thinking it would help things along somehow. Had my fertile window and rough O date all sorted and in my calendar, and lo and behold, I ovulated like 6 days early. 🤦🏻‍♀️ Didn't have time to DTD at all as DH was away, so this cycle is a complete write off. I have to laugh because I thought this cycle would be it. 🤣 I'm interested to see when AF comes now. Maybe these supplements will shorten my cycle a bit, which would not be a bad thing because they're usually too long.

Anyway. Hope you guys are doing better than me! Haha.

worldwidetravel2017 · 07/04/2024 11:09

Guys

Fyi - if any of you meet all the below - contact your gynae - theyll help after 6 months

If your over 35
Have had a miscarriage in last 6 - 9 months
Havent ever had a child

^ theyll get your gp to prescribe stuff.

Also to anyone that meets the above - other than miscarriage - if u ever very sadly do have a miscarriage - no matter how early - make sure it goes on your nhs record.

Also.
Regarding anyone with pcos
Or anyone who thinks they might have it - if you had a transvaginal scan 8 - 9 -,12 -18 months ago
And your ovaries didnt look polycystic then..
Do get checked again - - things can change

Baby dust to all

If / when i get my next period - il be starting some meds prescribed via gp via gynae

Daniki · 07/04/2024 12:00

Just about finished my first medicated trigger cycle. Had such high hopes but looks like it didn't work.
Tested the trigger out and I'm 12 days past trigger and it's basically negative. Test date is officially Tuesday but can't really see it turning around. I am also 11 dpo so it would surely be darkening by now!
Extremely fed up at this stage!!

Xxfifixx89 · 07/04/2024 12:11

Back to cycle day 9 and Lh testing… fingers crossed for this month🤦🏻‍♀️

Lalaland13 · 08/04/2024 08:53

Oh no - what a nightmare @BiscuitDreams , is that typical to happen when you start Angus Cactus?!

I need to Google medicated cycle - I’ve no idea what that is!! But hope you’re okay @Daniki

I am also feeling a bit deflated / confused! My app said would ovulate yesterday - no temp rise this morning or test, well to be fair a slight rise against yesterday but not above the line. CM is literally zero now and the Ov tests aren’t even showing a line at all! I guess I am wondering do I even I ovulate?! We DTD yesterday and Saturday, both shattered so was effort to even do that 😂

good luck all x

Daniki · 08/04/2024 09:07

@Lalaland13 where abouts are you in your cycle? Might ovulate later, sometimes we can vary our days!
I'm 13daysbafter trigger now and negative so I know I'm out. Feel really angry at my body this time because I had all the help and it still didn't work 😭 just don't know what's going on, I'm terrified we'll have to go for IVF as we defo couldn't afford it, nor could we go for the public funded one as we have a child already (I'm in Ireland) it's soul destroying stuff 🥴

B1989 · 08/04/2024 09:14

Helllo ladies, may I join in? I turned 35 last month and found out I was pregnant on my birthday (first official cycle ttc after a let’s wing it attempt the month before). Had a CP five days later. Ovulated later that month but alas no joy (wasn’t expecting much as I hadn’t had AF in between). AF arrived yesterday with awful cramps which is very unusual (thinking it’s a post cp thing for first AF). Positive is my cycle has returned relatively quickly. Only early on my journey but absolutely hating the waiting and unknown already! Wishing you all luck this month!

Lalaland13 · 08/04/2024 09:22

Am cycle day 14 now - i can feel some sort of like light pinching, maybe that is ovulation happening now. Who knows, I guess annoyed we haven’t been able to DTD too much! Husband is a sheep farmer and it’s lambing !! Literally constantly working this month!

was the trigger shot to stimulate ovulation? So sorry didn’t work this time, can you do it again? How many times?

Also wouldn’t be able to get IVF on nhs as we have little one. I’m just starting to lose hope now that it will ever happen and finding it confusing to know how to detect, I just don’t seem to get clear Ovulation test results, only ever get a faint line if a line at all x

It might be worthwhile getting a day 21 level test done to check your progesterone levels, that can indicate if you have ovulated? The doc said to me even tho I was getting positive opks etc my levels at that stage were always low so they couldn't be sure if I did ovulate that's why I'm doing the medicated cycle! But I have one living child and 3 miscarriages so I obviously used to ovulate! 😂 the body is sure a mystery 🙈 oh god my husband a farmer too, you have to get really inventive 😂

flowersinthecloud · 08/04/2024 10:23

Congratulations on all the BFP's! This was our first month of tracking after coming off the pill in January. Tried opk's combined with bbt. I'm often away for work so difficult to dtd every other day throughout cycle. Found the tracking a bit stressful but hoping this will help me to understand cycle better after being on the pill for so many years. Currently in tww, but think I can feel AF coming on. Are you all following pregnancy diet whilst ttc? I thought I might try, but seems it might take so long to get a bfp that I'm thinking of at least giving myself a break in half of cycle.

Lalaland13 · 08/04/2024 10:58

Oh maybe I do need to do a cycle 21 test - looks like can buy from random for 30 quid, might try this month! Assume will be delivered quick! Might feel like am doing something then, have a docs but not til middle of May and when I went before they tested thyroid and had a scan and all looked good - I had a chemical in a January and my little boy March 2022 and we have been trying since sept and nothing really, it’s all just less predictable this time with my cycle.

Did you take clomid? Such a shame not worked but can you try it again?

Ahh haha yeah farmers are hard work at times lol he is pretty smelly too at the moment, but I didn’t want to totally miss chance this month!!!

what is the pregnancy diet?! I’ve not tried that! Pretty much trying anything at this stage!

JC084 · 08/04/2024 11:34

Hi ladies, just thought I'd check in and say hello. Great to see more BFPs.
Hope everyone is doing ok.

3 weeks since my surgical management and I am still testing positive which I'm finding v tough. Will call Hospital tomorrow and see what they want to do - really hoping I don't need more treatment. I called on Tuesday but they said to wait another week and see what had happened.

Do want to start trying again asap - however, as I'm awaiting my recurring loss clinic appointment we have made the decision to wait until we've had that, so we can try and get some answers. I seem to get pregnant easily but can't get past first trimester. Appointment is in May so not too long to wait. Last time I got a positive test the week before the appointment and so couldn't go. Can't keep going through the same cycle so I need to put my sensible hat on and stop trying for a little while

Sorry for the long post!

Daniki · 08/04/2024 11:43

@JC084 ah that's so tough tho! I found I tested positive for a good few weeks after my mc at 9 weeks. It makes it harder to move on I thought. Good you have an app with the RLC and hopefully get some answers. Had you been put on any progesterone or anything? If not they will most likely give you a script for it for next falling pregnant.

@Lalaland13 not on clomid, I was on letrozole for 4 cycles from October but they were unmonitored and no trigger shot. I had to have the day 21 blood tests with those and doc wasn't happy with my progesterone results after that, then that doc referred me on for the monitored cycles and he switched me to Tamoxfin instead of letrozole and when I went in for the scan at day 13 he said I great big follicle and good thick lining and loads of CM. I thought it was a definite as I had ovulation pains that night but not to be I'm afraid! 🥴

Have u been assessed for potential pcos ?

Have u had a transvaginal scan in last 6 months?

Have u had your hormones recently checked?

Dya have pcos symptoms? - irregular periods or regular periods with hair on face and or inner legs ? Polycystic looking ovaries on scan ?
