Thanks everyone. So I stupidly got too excited about the digital test as I was right and it’s another chemical. My test this morning (a 6 days early Clearblue, so quite sensitive) was so light you can barely see it on a photo, and my period is due tomorrow so it should be very visible. Feel absolutely devastated. I want another baby so much but part of me feels like giving up as this is too hard on my heart.

I’m so sorry @Mrsspoon3 such a rollercoaster of emotions you’ve been through many times now. Sending love, I wish I had some words of wisdom. Don’t be too hard on yourself, have a good cry. Eat some choc. Try to take your mind off it( impossible I know but try)

It’s good you are on the list to be seen and maybe some tweaks could help you as others have said. There are other ways too to expand family, adoption or IVF.

Im so sorry for yet another update, you must all be bored of this! I’m soooo confused and anxious! After thinking my tests were negative the other day, I took one today as didn’t get period yesterday and temperature was still high, and got a positive (photo attached).
I really really want to be excited but I’m scared as I feel it should be darker as it’s the day after my missed period. I also got a negative digital (not Clearblue, a cheap one) last night. I’m worried I’m going to miscarry very very soon or that it’s an ectopic (apparently hCG rises really slow with ectopics). I spent ages googling last night and every story I read with slow line progression ended on a sad update!

How did your appointment go @worldwidetravel2017?

@Mrsspoon3 what a rollercoaster! I have no insight unfortunately, but this sounds like an emotional rollercoaster

Thanks so much @ButItHasCheese! I feel so stupid being like “Oh I might be pregnant, no I’m not, oh I might be, no I’m not” every other day! But I honestly have no clue what’s going on!! It’s so scary and stressful! It’s been a whole week now of not knowing if I’m pregnant or not pregnant or pregnant but miscarrying or pregnant but ectopic. I just want this baby (if there is one) so much, and I’m terrified!!

I had terrible pmt cramps yesterday but no AF yet, 2 days late and BFN on the tests. Desperately googling for something that would explain this away and mean I might be pregnant 🥲

Are you only 1 day late @Mrsspoon3? I think the tests are not accurate enough to be able to read anything into levels of hcg. You may have only just implanted or be a slow riser or have diluted urine. The instructions say that any line = positive, whether or not it’s faint.

Could you ask nhs or private to test your hcg 2 days in a row ?
That should give a good answer / inclination

Theyve offered that as an option

My day 3- 5 LH and FSH FSH bloods weree in keeping wity my pcos

@worldwidetravel2017 so what does that look like moving forward for you? Have you been told to think about it and decide if you want treatment or are they doing further testing?

@InWithPeaceOutWithStress How are you getting on? Have you taken any more tests?
Yeah I’m 4 days late now (I think, my cycle really varies). I’m just anxious as my tests were soooo much darker when I was pregnant with my son, and on the pregnancies with paler lines on tests I lost them all really early. I don’t think I implanted early as I got a faint positive about 9dpo, so that’s what’s really worrying me that I implanted so long ago and tests are still not that dark. This is my one today. I just don’t know what to think. I’m so worried and scared.

@worldwidetravel2017 I can’t afford private tests unfortunately, and my GP wouldn’t test my hCG unless there was some reason they thought they needed to be tested, like I was bleeding. I know from lots of posts online healthcare professionals don’t tend to put much weight on the darkness of lines on tests, even though most people who have had early miscarriages know that a lack of progression doesn’t usually mean good things. It’s so hard just having to wait and worry until either the pregnancy ends or (🙏🙏🙏) I get to 6/7 weeks and can have a scan.

I’m glad they have hope for you @worldwidetravel2017 and were able to give some tips and advice! Do you have any tests or treatments to try next or is it just a case of ttc and see what happens? Do you think you’ll try the letrozole?

@Mrsspoon3 it's so hard not overanalyze isn't it. If it's any comfort, these were my first tests from this pregnancy. Wasn't tracking ovulation but from when I DTD I think these must have been at 14, 16 and 18dpo. I've never had super strong lines on these kinds of tests. I stopped testing after the last one as it was just worrying me more. Keeping everything crossed for you.

@Mrsspoon3 My AF arrived yesterday, it was just a little late. Genuinely feels like it just isn’t something that will happen for me.

I feel like this could be it for you though, despite the faint line, 🤞🏼

@worldwidetravel2017 I'm getting on okay I guess, thanks for checking in! haven't had HH tests until this months cycle, as I needed to book a nurse in to come and do the draw, not something I can do myself! I hope you're feeling optimistic after your appointments? I really hope you get good news soon, I know how much you want this, I really do. I just started taking pregnacare, instead of just folic acid and vitamin D, also an additional 100 coq10, I'm hoping it doesn't mess my cycle up as I've heard it can, am currently 3 days late for ovulation,but it looks like it might happen today/tomorrow, so I'm pushing myself to feel good about this one.

@Mrsspoon3 I hope you're okay? I can understand your frustration and anxiety waiting, it's hard having all the stress of trying to conceive, then conceiving and we still worry it might not work out. Right now you have a BFP, and that's good news, I know you've been through a lot, I hope you can find a little peace of mind during the wait, hoping for the best news for you! 🙏
