@worldwidetravel2017 You have more willpower than me, I'd have definitely tested by now!

OPKs are now back to negative but no temperature rise yet (in fact it dropped a bit last night) so not sure if I actually ovulated or if it was just a false LH surge. I'd forgotten exactly how annoying all the waiting is when TTC...

Tbh as i have pcos - i need the will power

Bought a test yest pm - haven't used it yet

Dont feel like period is incoming but it could still rock up on / by thurs

Had some burping etc

Havent had usual period due cramps yet..

If you use randox health and check your progsterone 7 days after when u think u ovulated - that could help you

Normally im grumpy when period due.

When i was preg and it was then early miscarriage last yr - day 37 i had v sore boobs - 4 days off that - cycle day 33 ish today

Did have a hosp procedure last month
And flew via plane twice around ovulation time. So period could just rock up soon

Hey, hope everyone is ok. I was really excited to finally be trying to conceive again this week after my missed miscarriage in January, and got my flashing smiley on the clear blue tests yesterday. Had a lunchtime date planned with the husband! Then I got a phone call from the hospital today to say they had the results back from the tests they did on the baby after my surgical miscarriage, and I had a partial molar pregnancy 😢 This means I have to have some tests done as there is a small risk of cancer, and also we can’t try again until we’re given the all clear. Given I’m 40 in 5 months and feel like my time is running out, I feel completely devastated and scared. Feel very much in shock by all this 😢

@Mrsspoon3 So sorry to hear that, that must be devastating news to get out of the blue and particularly when time is a concern. Have they given you any indication of how long it might be until you get the tests and when you might expect to get the all clear?

Ordered some Proov tests on a whim this morning and will give them a go once I think I'm the correct amount of time out from ovulation - no expectations we'll conceive this cycle given the circumstances so really viewing it more as a time to monitor and see where we're at after just over 3 years of no cycle.

So sorry to hear that @Mrsspoon3 - what devastating news. I hope they can get some results to you asap and you then know where you are. Good for hospital to be proactive and to be testing though, if there is any cancer it will be best to know asap. Sending hugs, hope you get some news soon. Have you got any appointments now scheduled? Xx

Wanted to also say @Mrsspoon3 - hopefully it is worse case scenario and they are being cautious, an extra month. Even though feels like an eternity - will be over and will make little difference longer term. This age thing does suck - it just creeps up on us, I still feel 25! Yet I am close to 39 now. Where did the time go xx

@Mrsspoon3 sorry to hear about this. Hopefully all will be ok and you will get the all clear soon. Such an unexpected call, must be so scary and overwhelming.

@worldwidetravel2017 have you cracked and taken a test yet? Keeping my fingers crossed for you!

D6 today and my fertile period starts tomorrow according to my apps. Feels too soon, only just finishing AF!

Did a blood sample for randox prostegone today.. day 22 and actually 8 from when I think ovulated - so hopefully okay. Was struggling to get the blood though, took ages!!! I’ve not filled to the line, so hope they still test it! Wasn’t as easy as I had hoped!!

I always feel it comes soon after period too @OnePinkDuck the rest of the month drags! I was going to test today as 8dpo but I didn’t get round to it so I guess will wait too tomorrow! Zero symptoms but ya know!

V minimal temperature rise this morning so still not sure around ovulation - my chart is a mess though as obviously for the first 3 weeks I was on contraception so my BBT was running higher anyway.

Took my baseline Proov this morning, they're not the most intuitive tests in the world! I'll be interested to see what they show in a week's time, although given it's the first time don't know if I'll know whether I've done them correctly or not.

I used the proov last month and got 2 postives in thst cycle but 10dpo it was negative which shown i didnt succeed in ovulation. 1dpo now again this month and starting the dreaded tww!! Think il give up after this month with the tracking etc ss its driving me nuts

@Xxfifixx89 Yeah, famous last words but don't think I'll use the Proov sticks long term, they're expensive and (at least last time round) I have short luteal phases so I basically already know that my progesterone levels aren't great, I'm not sure I need these to torment myself with. For me, the data is only really useful if I can do something with it - so OPKs and temping helpful because I know I ovulate monthly and it helps me time intercourse and know when my period is likely to arrive, but there's nothing really I can do to boost my progesterone that I'm not already doing (vitamins etc) and the doctors won't treat it so can't see that it's actually that helpful for me to know...

Also potentially 1DPO (maybe) so right there with you in the TWW/10 day wait in my case.

what are these proov tests that people are talking about?

@OnePinkDuck they're basically urine tests which are used to let you know what your progesterone levels are during the TWW so that you can tell whether you've ovulated and if you'd producing the expected levels of progesterone. Think you're supposed to do four of them on each morning of 7 - 10 DPO and a certain number of positive results means your levels of progesterone are as expected. They're the opposite of OPKs/pregnancy tests though in that control line only is a positive and two lines are a negative, which is a bit confusing!

Should not be typing this but I did a preg test - I think 8dpo… and there is the faintest of faint lines… I think?! I am sure no one else can see

I think my mind may be playing tricks but I’m sat at my desk studying it! Hope no one calls me now. Probably nothing but good to give a girl hope right x

Lines eyes are a thing for sure. Who knows eh @Xxfifixx89 - I really have been losing hope so this really would make me so happy, not even mentioned to hubby he is a cynic with early testing.

Ah fingers crossed @worldwidetravel2017 good not feeling periody and you said feeling happy yest I think. I feel my mood usually indicates period and headaches!

Ive found somewhere local that does private hcg testing - so at least if we do get a positive test - we can then get things looked at etc etc
Hcg is - meant - to double every day - when someones preg..
@ least that kinda emotionally protects a bit -
So that - if someone is preg - with miscarriage history - , they have the option of a maybe heads up // eye opener before maybe getting too invested

I had some numark early tests arrive today

• last years pregnancy showed on there - on day 37

Today is day 35 ish
