Thought I’d make a new thread for those of us Ttc in April 2024. I know some of us will cross over from end of March to April ! Wishing everyone all the luck ✨❤️

Hi, I joined the March thread at the beginning but then DH and I decided to delay one more month before starting TTC, so I have been impatiently waiting since then ⏱️currently waiting for AF to start, should be due in around 5 days. December would be the perfect time for a baby for us for many reasons, trying not to think about that too much though as this will be cycle 1 TTC and don’t want too much pressure!

ooplesandbaneenies · 14/03/2024 16:14

Still no progression on lines after yesterday morning. FRER is hardly visible which being a sensitive test I would have expected to see something. Feeling very down as the same happened last month.

starryx · 14/03/2024 17:07

Hey! I'm cycle day 1! 4days late this month:( x
Hoping I am able to have this 2024 baby, this month is my chance.

RW269 · 14/03/2024 17:31

Anyone floating around the same timeframe as me? :) CD5 gonna start ovulation testing shortly! Feeling a bit low about it all, 4 months into Ttc now and each month it makes me wish we’d started trying sooner for our first. Hope everyone’s keeping well and healthy!

@ooplesandbaneenies have you got another test to do again tomorrow morning? Got everything crossed for you to get a stronger line asap 🤞❤️

I've used both FRERS now.I just have a box of easy at home. Although the easy at home I did first thing was a complete s*show and a false positive as the FRER was hardly visible and more sensitive(and done with FMU) and all other tests done today have hardly anything there, hardly a whisper. Very cruel! I'd rather AF just come than all of this messing with my emotions.

YaWeeFurryBastard · 14/03/2024 18:24

@RW269 I am the same as you, CD5, which I think is the same as last month too 🤪, also going to start ovulation testing this weekend.

The good news for today is my husbands sperm test came back normal so there doesn’t seem to be any issues on that front.

SummerSun24 · 14/03/2024 18:27

@ooplesandbaneenies still waiting for AF here too 🥹 now three days late, nothing in tests so impatient for it to start now!!

Hope everyone is doing ok that's over from the march thread 😌

I'm such an idiot. My brain didn't even. Register that it's not April yet 🫠

Jemmy94 · 14/03/2024 18:44

@RW269 I'm close I'm on cycle day 7 cycle number 3 🥰 although I always seem to ovulate late in my cycles like day 19. I have quite long cycles though at the moment about 32 days 🙈

LK2610 · 14/03/2024 18:46

AF turned up today, finally! I’m twinning with you @starryx - cycle day 1 but AF was a few days late due to late ovulation.

RW269 · 14/03/2024 19:11

@ooplesandbaneenies ahh heck you’re in such limbo I hope you have a way to relax the next couple days !!

@YaWeeFurryBastard oooo hey cycle buddy hahaha! What do you use for ovulation tests? I’m going to try the Premom ones this month! Really glad for you the test came back okay! One less thing to worry about! How do you /where do you do the test? Wondering if we should check my husbands just to rule that out haha !

@Jemmy94 ahh I recon we will be about the same tww then! :)

@RW269 I think so! Such a long wait 🙈 hoping I catch my peak this month!

ThingsLineUp · 14/03/2024 19:34

Hello hello, making my way over from March's thread as AF showed up today. Syncing up with you both @LK2610 and @starryx though hope your periods aren't as miserable as mine - so much cramping😖

YaWeeFurryBastard · 14/03/2024 19:41

@RW269 I use Premom ☺️

We got a home test called exseed which was actually
pretty good, you could see the sperm swimming under the microscope. I think it was about £80 and it’s put my mind at rest at least a bit.

Daniki · 14/03/2024 19:51

@ooplesandbaneenies oh I'm so sorry I really hope it's not a chemical. Different tests tho is hard to compare so hopefully stronger tomorrow 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻❤️

Had anyone use Femsense ovulation tracker!? I ordered it to give it a go! Booked my follicle monitoring uktrasound today, so annoying my day 10/11 falls on sat and sun and the doctor doesn't do the scans on Mondays so I had to book the Tuesday 🙈 hopefully it's not too late! I'm supposed start tamoxifen tomorrow I'm wondering whether to push it out a day in the hopes that will push out ovulation?!

Unfortunately it was. Woken by bad cramps and AF arrived. Kick in the teeth but I knew it was happening again. :-((

Daniki · 15/03/2024 05:35

@ooplesandbaneenies ah I'm so sorry 😫

Thank you x least I know where I am now. CD1! Next month I will holding off testing an extra week can't be doing this again! Confused

Dogscanlookup · 15/03/2024 08:03

@Daniki @ooplesandbaneenies so sorry AF showed up for you guys 😔
@RW269 CD7 today so basically same track as you!
@LK2610 in so sorry to hear of all your stress - so I was in an AWFUL job when I was pregnant with my first, but again it was amazing maternity leave. But you do have to go back for a certain amount of time to keep the pay (mine was 6 months). I went back when DD was 8 months. I was still feeding her during the night, my commute was over an hour each way, I didn’t get a break and I was working at an insane speed for 10 hours.
it was NOT worth the maternity package. That’s my opinion, but now I’m in a company I love, trying for a second with no maternity package in place and I don’t care. Happiness is worth more than money!

Dogscanlookup · 15/03/2024 08:06

I’m strangely feeling relaxed this month. I think after two MC last year and now a total of 15 months trying I’m used to it now. Entered the next level of “it won’t be this month” and now I feel so chilled!

I think I need to be the same! And just stop testing and literally leave it until I'm a week or 2 late! X

pleurotus · 15/03/2024 09:20

So sorry @ooplesandbaneenies take care of yourself over the next few days

pleurotus · 15/03/2024 09:20

Anyone else ovulating atm? Not using opks but I'm quite sure I am!
