Thought I’d make a new thread for those of us Ttc in April 2024. I know some of us will cross over from end of March to April ! Wishing everyone all the luck ✨❤️

All the better to feel chilled, will stand to you more I reckon! It's out of our hands we can only do so much 😂 iv my follicle scan booked for this month so trying to be more relaxed also. I bought an ovulation tracker patch also you stick on for 7 days and scan it twice a day hoping that takes some stress out too! I hated not knowing exactly when (if) I ovulated last cycle so feck doing that again!

@ooplesandbaneenies Awwh I’m so sorry to hear that! Take care of yourself, definitely think I’m going to join on the waiting to test, it’s just too much the ups and downs isn’t it!

@Daniki yeah I thought about not doing OPKs to make it less stressful but actually it would be worse not knowing where I was or if I definitely DTD on time!

so my stress has already elevated ha… this morning (TMI) I went to the toilet and there was a lot of dark bloody CM? AF finished CD5, I’m CD7. What does this mean??

@Dogscanlookup it might just be leftover blood, that always happens me I have brownish cm for a few days!

@Daniki thank you! I think so, had a quick Google and nothing else seems to fit! Last month I spotted for about 3 days after AF, but it was slight. Today just caught me off guard!

I also just found out my partner is away for two weeks in April… if it doesn’t happen this month I think next month he’s due back the day I ovulate 😭 need to get the job done this time round 😂

@Dogscanlookup oh how frustrating! But if your cycle shifts at all this time round it would have a knock on effect for next one BUT hopefully works this time around 🥰

I'm so annoyed I had reflexology booked for today at 4, sat outside for half hour and no sign of the lady but I could hear her talking to her previous client this whole time. I got up and left and text her to say I needed to leave as I had Creche pickup in an hour and I never even got a reply/apology or anything! 😫🤣

I get that's every month @Dogscanlookup! I think I'm done and then boom I get the one last hoorah. Forget everytime and always forget to prepare for it 😅

Still waiting for AF, 4 days late and still BFN. Impatient to start again!! Also had quite a bit on at work recently so think stress is getting the better of me and LO sleep is shocking at the moment too 😴

So nice to come back here at the end of a manic day and catch up with everyone though makes it feel much less lonely!

@Dogscanlookup Ah that’s so true, I hadn’t thought about actually going back. Glad you’re somewhere you love now! I had a look in my contract and couldn’t see how long I’d have to go back for after maternity leave. I can’t even imagine working there with a 1 year old. It’s a fast-paced tech company and everyone is quite young. I haven’t seen many women with kids working there, a few dads but yeah not family friendly at all. I’ve officially started the job hunt.

@Daniki very true! And that’s so rude of her?! Was this your first appointment? I’ve not tried reflexology before!
@SummerSun24 haha yeah you’d think by now we would understand and get our cycle but no! The waiting for AF is frustrating.. sorry it’s still a BFN! And yeah, this forum is so good! It actually makes you feel normal and like you’re not an obsessive head case! And everyone understands. This would be a lot harder without this place to chat

@LK2610 yeah if it’s hard now, doing it with a child is even worse. Not to worry you, but my mental health suffered hard when I was back there, it was the toughest period of my life easy. Job hunting can be daunting but exciting so good luck with it all! It’ll all work out in the end ☺️

@Daniki argh how annoying! If it makes you feel any better I had my holistic massage and it was crap because what she actually did was a sports massage. I mean my muscles feel great but it wasn’t relaxing at all 😂

@Dogscanlookup she messaged me a few hours later to apologise and offer me a free session but I just said no, I'd feel too awkward now! 😂

@LK2610oh nooo! I hate a sports massage, I'm not one for a really firm massage anyway! We can all have a drink this wknd and relax 😎

Paddy's day this weekend (I'm ☘️) so will take my son to the parade Sunday and might have a few drinks after as it's a bank hol! I literally never drink anymore 😂

Glad we all seem to be having some drinks this weekend! I’m 35 today… not the age we like talking about on this group but at least I can drink my sorrows 😂 starting the OPKs today and this cycle I already seem very… wet ha. Bit different to usual!

I'm gutted yesterday I popped to the pharmacy and now on antibiotics for a UTI...I haven't ovulate yet but due anyday...think I will still track although OH is away from Monday 😔

I had the most vivid dream last night! I was pregnant with a boy and was going into labour... felt the movement in my tummy it woke me up. Does anyone else have vivid dreams about being pregnant?

Guys this is driving me mad! I’ve been testing for ovulation twice a day now using the Premom app and the easy at home strips.

My apps are telling me I should be ovulating now, but the strips have shown a decrease in LH that is now 0.19 for the last couple of days. I had AF on March 4th-7th and dtd on March 8th but surely I couldn’t have ovulated so close after AF? This is my first month using premom as before I used CB and did always get a smiley so I think I have been ovulating but I’m wondering if this might be the reason it’s taken longer than we expected to conceive.

This is all so confusing. I do have swabs happening on Monday and bloods to start seeing what’s going on but ????
