Thought I’d make a new thread for those of us Ttc in April 2024. I know some of us will cross over from end of March to April ! Wishing everyone all the luck ✨❤️

Hi everyone

I took this test this morning, I have never had any line show up before and this came up within a minute. Could it be an indent line? Or could this be positive?

My charts were all over the place this month so I am anywhere between 7-10dpo. I would say more 9/10 though.

@elsa15 I see it, looks like the start of a positive!

I’m really trying not to get ahead of myself but we’ve been trying for over a year and have never even gotten this far! And the potential due date (I know I really should not be looking this far ahead! Only asking for heartbreak!) would be around 17th December which would be our 2nd wedding anniversary 🥲 I want this to be real so bad!

I have a question for the opk users in the thread. I've used the easy@home strips this cycle for the first time, and as I'm now 2dpo my lh levels have dropped right down. Do I stop testing now or carry on? I've only used the cb digital ones before which advise stopping after peak.

Yes I can see and it has colour so not an evap 🥰

Yep I would stop once you got your peak!

I am 8 days PO, period due on Thursday.
what you’ve said makes me feel better, so thank you, I am worried my LH surge wasn’t enough to release an egg. No pregnancy symptoms and I just picked a fight with my DH today (usually sign my period is coming) :(
I didn’t realise how mentally exhausting this would all be, each month I think this is it !! I know I’ve not been trying that long and my heart goes out to everybody that has been doing this longer than me !

Hi everyone - update at 8 dpo. I have this horrible feeling out for this month. Just feeling so drained and don't think we caught this month. I'm stupidly testing although I know it's too early as I'm not due AF until 13/04. Just so desperate to see a positive after a loss. I also have feelings of guilt and shame, one of my friends just announced their pregnancy online and it fills me with happiness that they're embarking on a new journey, but also reminds me of my struggles and my loss. I fill with envy, and it makes me feel awful because I should be happy. Eats me up inside.
On a brighter note, seeing all these positive tests brings me such joy that it's all working out for us in the end and therefore believing the universe has a plan set for us all

Hi TTC DC2. Long cycles. Got what I think is a positive opk today for the first time in months so fingers crossed this is the month.

When TTC DC1 I never got an OPK that was same as or darker than the control line just ‘high’ so guess that’s normal for me. I use the Premom app and test strips.

just an update

took another easy@home strip this morning & a clear blue early one, and both came back with only vvvvv fl. I am devastated, thinking yesterday was either a false positive or it’s been a chemical 😭

Well I haven't had symptoms for a few days, boobs are getting progressively less sore. This morning I'm getting weird cramps near my belly button but it just feels like gas...

Same here zero symptoms of anything and 3 days late 😪 waiting to test again tomorrow

It's ironic that even though the symptoms often don't mean pregnancy I feel useless without them to rely on

@Kirkikins same, i had bad heart burn for a week then nothing and normally before AF i get sore boobs and know it was coming but nothing. Few twinges here and there but other than that nothing at all.

You are still very early. Are you around 10dpo? Not trying to get your hopes up, but equally please don’t despair! Only thing you can do is test each morning and see what the progression is like. Silver lining to this is it encourages getting an early night so the morning arrives sooner.

Keeping all my fingers and toes crossed that darker lines arrive soon.

Thank you for the positivity. My boobs are still very sore which I don’t usually get with AF so I do think a pregnancy has been present, just not sure if it’s still there or not.

Would the lines today not need to be darker than yesterday? Or can they fluctuate day by day as long as on a whole they continue to darken by I guess 14-16dpo (when AF should have arrived)

I think just seeing the tests soooo faint today compared to a clear line (still faint but clear) yesterday has disheartened me completely.

@elsa15 Care to share the tests with us? I think so early on when hcg is still low the tests can be confusing but you’re supposed to compare with 48h difference and not 24h.

I've woken up to blood, and I'm really worried. It could be AF (2 weeks late) but then why would I have had an lh peak 3 days ago? I have had ovulation bleeding the last couple of months so maybe it's that? 🤦🏻‍♀️

Happy to share tests. The top one is yesterdays (now fully dry so a bit distorted but you can see the line) and the bottom two are todays. I’m not sure the camera will pick it up but on both there is extremely faint lines there, but obviously nowhere near the result of yesterday :( and I guess if the line isn’t strong enough to be picked up by the camera that speaks for itself

@elsa15 I can see it on the clearblue but not the other one. Were all of these done with fmu?

@elsa15 i think on the one hand when pregnancy hormones are so low at this stage there will be factors that influence, for example how hydrated you are etc.

but on the other hand chemical pregnancies are quite common at this stage, so I think you are right to not get your hopes up.

I really do think it’s too early to say either way. Please try and celebrate the fact that you are pregnant right now, even if you can’t relax just yet, and marvel what your body has achieved. Please keep us posted and I will keep you in my thoughts today 💖

Thank you so much for all your kind thoughts, all I can do I guess is keep testing for the next few days and see what happens. I guess I’m not out until AF arrives, but it’s just an uneasy situation to be in.

I think I said before that we’ve been trying for over a year and never once had any hint of any lines on HCG tests so I’ll take that away as a positive this cycle anyway, it proves at least that my body can get to that stage and now we just need to work on getting it through the next.
