Thought I’d make a new thread for those of us Ttc in April 2024. I know some of us will cross over from end of March to April ! Wishing everyone all the luck ✨❤️

@ThingsLineUp I get you on the gradual disappointment 😅 sometimes just weeing on a stick and getting a negative takes my mind off obsessing about it for the day... I usually test around 8DPO (which rationally I know is too early)

AF is now a full week late for me and still no positive test. Going to start dtd as if a new cycle had started and see what happens. The uncertainty is the worst bit!

Hoping to see some bfps soon in this thread!

Just caved on 8dpo and of course negative 😅 I'm now out of tests so convincing myself not to buy any more for a week. I have no self control though so will see.

Hi all! AF arrived for me over the weekend :(. Onto cycle 3 now..

Feeling solidarity with those of you testing early… I’ve just tested 10 dpo and it’s negative :( think I should try and wait to test now til Friday at least to avoid unnecessary disappointment.

I have no breast pain at all yet this month which is strange for me as I usually have pain that starts the week before my period comes. Could this be a sign I wonder?

6dpo, I'm testing everyday but I'm testing the trigger out as obviously my tests are positive. When I see the negative test at least I'll know if a positive after that is real or not! God I hate the waiting!!

Oh I said the same! However, arriving between 2 & 4pm...... x15 ultra early pregnancy test strips 😂😂 yes they've arrived and yes I've done one and no it is not positive 😩😂 not sure why I do this to myself lol x

Went to the toilet and there was a tiny bit of blood. I'm 5/6dpo, possibly irritation from progesterone pessaries tho!

Just coming to wait till my period now, suspect I’m 11dpo but ovulation wasn’t confirmed prior due in 4 days mild back ache and belly cramps and can’t see anything on this so feeling fed up! Fingers crossed for you Lot! Xxx

I know right 😅😅😆 but they don't arrive until tomorrow evening so I guess it'll at least be two mornings between tests which is how I am justifying it to myself. I dislike this phase of the cycle most as you can test.

Last time it took six months to convince my son, so I need to have more patience really as that was several years ago now!

Aw that's good at least you know you have some coming. That's the worst isn't it, knowing you can but then getting disappointed when they're negative even when you know its far too early 😅😩.

Same as me, I started to track then ran out 😅 didn't bother buying anymore as TTC my last son consumed me massively, constantly doing OPKs, testing pretty much every single day after Ovulation so I've decided to just DTD around my fertile window and hope for the best, good luck! X

@Parcou25 Good Luck to you!! Not a long wait I guess and I do have some easy at home pregnancy test but don’t know if I’ll use them or try to wait it out xx

Thank you. I have a pack of tests ready and waiting also, with my son I tested positive at 7dpo which will be tomorrow if my flo app accurately predicted my ovulation but I shall see

@Parcou25 see mine says 11dpo CD 26 on Premom and 10dpo and CD 26 on flo but like I said no confirmation of ovulation so just winging it!xxx

God that's confusing isn't it. At least it's giving numbers close together, me too girl me too 😅 x

Has anyone with a previous pregnancy had implantation bleeding? I've been googling the difference between that and my period because I woke up today bleeding, but I was hoping someone with real life experience had any tips for how they are more distinguishable.

The part that is difficult is that I have wonky periods, so I have NO CLUE when to expect my period. But I think I'm about 9 DPO.

I'd hate to be "out" for the month since it's only April 1st.

What kind of bleeding is it? Light flow or heavy? Spotting? I did have implantation bleeding with a pregnancy in 2022 it was just a bit of red spotting!

Can you get a bfp a certain amount of dpo or does this only happen once your period is missed?

I think it depends! The higher the DPO the more likely you are to get a positive if you're pregnant, so more people will get a positive at 12dpo than at 9dpo (which is why people test early just in case, but acknowledge that an early negative should be rechecked later). However according to most advice the tests are most accurate from when you are late on your period. I think this is because by that time the "symptom" of missing your period is caused by high enough hcg hormone to show up on a test. Whether you get a positive at 9dpo or once you've missed your period depends on how long it took the egg to implant. So essentially, no, you're not out until your period arrives.

Could it be implantation spotting? Don’t want to get your hopes up but it could be possible

From reading your posts I’m in a similar situation, two reasonably consistent cycles then cycle 3 was 8 days longer than the other two. My luteal phase is on the shorter side as well (8-10 days). Had my mirena coil out in December. No idea what this next cycle is going to be like now!
