Hello all, can I please join? TTC this month using OPK’s for first time and the stress is real lol - have been more chill in past just using app and hoping timing is right but it’s been well over a year so that’s clearly not working for us! I’m in my mid twenties and was always fed that idea of how “easy” it would be to conceive especially from my mum who fell preg every month she ever tried apparently - just left me feeling awful. Could not even describe how perfect this month would be to conceive as it’s our wedding and honeymoon month so the time I’d start testing/my AF would be due is on my honeymoon - know I could be setting myself up for a real disappointment but just can’t help imagining it 🥹 Sending lots of love to everyone on this chat - the emotional side of things is so incredibly hard!!

Sorry to hear you’ve been having a hard time. If you’ve been trying for over a year will you do any testing to try and get to the bottom of it?

@Superwomen95 @satsumaqueen im joining your gang. I was so excited this morning as my progesterone test showed a positive which is better than yesterday. Then an hour late heavy spotting. At 8DPO like usual.
I’m gutted and fed up, and can’t try next month as partner is away. At least we can all have wine and feel an excuse for chocolate this Easter

Ah wow I’m sorry:( It’s so fustrating to have a break and not go again, I hope the month passes quickly for you and you can relax a little.

I’m just behind @Daniki at CD18 but have had my usual AF cramps so I’m not feeling so hopeful. I’ll technically be staying in this group if no luck this month as next ovulation is between 20th and 23rd so I’ll be behind you @SummerSun24

My period came today just as I knew it would :(
I didn’t have much hope for this month but it’s still disappointing. Also it’s hard to just continue more of the same next month as it hasn’t worked till now, just feels like whats going to change. Am just feeling rather down.
I’m sorry your period showed up too!!
My daughter is only 2 but I would have loved a very close age gap!

But I think its also the what if part, if I knew that it would take 10 cycles I wouldn’t mind too much now, its the thought that it could be years until it happens, its all very unknown and scary.

CD28 here. I was scrolling through insta and my algorithm is really hammering things home to me. I’m not sure how helpful it is seeing a barrage of fertility related ads, sometimes it gives me inspiration to try something else, other times it’s a slap in the face.

Are your feeds like this and do you love/hate it?

I hope you don’t mind me joining ladies? I had a CP earlier this month only four days after I found out I was pregnant on cycle one of ttc #1. Had a negative pregnancy test pretty soon afterwards and ovulated on cd17 (usually 14). Now 4dpo and in the tww and driving myself mad. Wishing you all luck for Christmas babies x

Morning all, 7dpo here and definitely feeling like it’s not my month. @Superwomen95 i agree with you it’s the not knowing that’s the killer!

This month I feel like I don’t even want to test as cba with the disappointment when it’s inevitably negative.

I’m waiting for AF to arrive tomorrow before we can crack on TTC number 2.
I have a 20 month old and I fell pregnant with him first cycle, so felt very lucky that it was straight forward.

Might nervous this time around won’t be as easy.

Yeh I’ve basically stopped testing as its just so disappointing seeing that negative.
I think if I had big symptoms I may, like terrible nausea like I had in the past.

Hate them! Mine keeps showing me siblings with a small age gap and different ways to introduce a new baby to an older sibling!
Useless for me currently thank you very much😂

@Superwomen95 exactly this, it’s the not knowing.

This morning has really hit home that I think this isn’t just a case of “oh it’s not happened this month” but “I think there could be issues and this could be a long road”.

sorry if TMI, but I’m 9dpo and this morning got up and blood ran down my legs… and obviously a negative progesterone test. I did ovulate this month but it was weak and I’ve officially got a short luteal phase. Calling this doctors tomorrow, feeling so disheartened

@BexCinnamon, good luck! My situation isn't quite the same, but I had a polyp removed from my uterus in January, which will hopefully help me get a BFP. March was the first month I was cleared to really try since my OBGYN wanted things to heal up a bit.

@MadeWithL0ve, I just got my first positive ovulation test on about 4 years! Also, I love going with my cheapies off of Amazon. I get tons of ovulation tests in one box. Very basic, but it gets the job done (the lack of positive tests were an issue with me, not the test).

Amazing! Exciting times for us all 🤞I have everything crossed for us!

I'm 6DPO (I think) but not feeling hopeful. Have had some spotting (which I don't normally get) so going to count myself out I think.

We've only been TTC since December - and already the emotional drain is getting to me (especially since DC was conceived so quickly). Thinking I'll give next month a break just to think about it for a bit

@YaWeeFurryBastard I think so (I've had mixed results with testing for ovulation this month) but AF is due Thursday or Friday, so either way I'll know (hopefully!)
When are you testing?
(Also love the user name btw, makes me chuckle every time I see it)

Sounds like a rough morning @Dogscanlookup I hope you're able to get in with the doctors quickly to understand what's going on.

I'm 6dpo too @ButItHasCheese and not feeling particularly hopeful. No spotting but my temperature hasn't really gone up much since positive opks so not confident that I ovulated this cycle.

@YaWeeFurryBastard I'm going to test from 9dpo, so Thursday, did the same thing last month and actually found it less stressful than waiting till period is due - I prefer gradual rather than sudden disappointment 😂
