Thought I’d make a new thread for those of us Ttc in April 2024. I know some of us will cross over from end of March to April ! Wishing everyone all the luck ✨❤️

@Anitamartini I have the fertilily cup. I’ve used it one cycle a little while ago, going to give it another go I think this cycle.

@Anitamartini Hi there, this is my second cycle using the Fertilily cup. I was hoping for a miracle last month as it was the first time I was using it and got my hopes up but here I am trying it for a second month. It will be interesting to see how it works for you too as I don't know many people who are using it :)

@Superwomen95 if you can stay strong and not test it’s so much better sanity wise. But we all know it’s easier said than done…
@Quolla i know, I always said I would never test and make TTC for a baby.. but then when you are, I want to make every month count and know where I’m at! That’s an interesting symptom, it’s crazy how everyone’s body shows pregnancy differently. My smell goes so sensitive! But they also say each pregnancy is different so even that’s not reliable

Yes, the testing definitely affects my mental health! So far on this journey I haven’t tested yet, but its starting to get a bit harder as I just want to know already!
I am trying for my fourth pregnancy (I had 2 miscarriages before my daughter) and the only one that stuck I felt sick literally a few days after dtd!
I know that not every time is the same but I dont have much hope if Im not feeling any nausea!
Did you have very different symptoms each time?

@summersundays it makes it easier with her understanding the struggles, too. But dude, that stuff is ridiculously expensive (if I have to go the IVF route, they're is no way I can afford that unless my state passes the proposed legislation to cover infertility). The hard part is her answer for not conceiving was very clear whereas mine has been harder to find. But we're getting there! Hopefully!

@LK2610 this is the first month I for sure ovulated and hot dang, I could definitely tell! My lower abdomen felt so full and crampy. Maybe I'll get more used to the symptoms if I manage to keep ovulating.

So I had trigger shot yest, then last night I had quite a few pains the right side which is where the big follicle was, and this morning my Femsense tracker detected ovulation! So DTD yest and this morn and will go every second night til some time next week and hope for the best 😂

I used the cup this morning as OH got stage fright last night on peak day, its a bit of a faff to get in position and don't think I achieved that so I wouldn't be too optimistic @Ncl31 & @YourShyFinch
I'll persevere next month , if necessary😅

I just used the cup this morning too…. DH was too tired last night after a long day at work, it took some encouraging this morning too but I’m pleased we have DTD today as it looks like I’m going to hit peak OPK today.
Were out for dinner tomorrow evening so I might try my best to seduce him before we go tomorrow.

That's great, you dtd on peak and hopefully the cup works some magic.
We'll likely be testing around the same time? do you do early testing or hold off?
I'd have felt happier doing last night and today so feeling a bit defeated already which I know is silly.

@Superwomen95 yeah it’s only natural to look for a pattern that you recognise! Well I had my daughter after my first pregnancy and my smell was crazy, second pregnancy crazy smell again but sadly lost the pregnancy at 10 weeks. Then third time was a chemical and I had no smell symptom! So if things start getting smelly I think I’ll know 😂

I’m 4dpo and feel like it’s not going to happen. But I think it’s now just routine for it to not 😂 I start my progesterone tests on Saturday, in a way I don’t want to because last month it confirmed early I wasn’t pregnant and I don’t think I want to know early

@Daniki i think you’re in with a good chance! Yeah in a way the hope is the worst part. I think someone else here said once AF shows It’s actually the most relaxing time as there’s nothing you can do or monitor and you know where you stand

last cycle I tested early but that was because I was going on holiday

Yea so true! The knowing you're out and waiting on period is actually the worst wait ever!! Side effect to the trigger shot- because it's the hcg hormone I have the worst nausea! Thank godfor the Easter holidays 🥲😂

I went for my progesterone test yesterday but don’t have results yet. I couldn’t help but use my last preg test (7DPO) and BFN.

I decided to test my lh levels too and cannot make sense of my chart, apparently I’m experiencing a second rise in levels? Can anyone make sense of this?

@Suburbandreams sometimes we can have a surge before AF, this happened me one cycle but also some women get positive opks if they're pregnant! Was it an opk you done? I don't understand the temp charts at all 😂

@Suburbandreams if that’s a second LH surge could suggest multiple ovulation but that’s very rare… I’m not too sure on LH testing? Did you have a baseline you needed to do?

It’s so hard to tell, AF is due on the 4th so could be due to that, fingers crossed it’s the alternative! Yet again googling non stop…

im just so impatient now to get some answers, I’m refreshing my online doctors portal to get my test results to give me some idea.

Oh nooo, my husband is away for work for the next 11 days so hoping it’s not another ovulation or it will be a missed opportunity!

I’ve been tracking consistently this month as I don’t think the apps have been accurate. More of a last ditch effort to find a reason we haven’t been successful in getting pregnant.

@Suburbandreams i really don’t want to get your hopes built up.
however, in December my cycles were wildly all over the place still. I was CD56 and I had an urge to test, so I done an OPK which was strongly positive. That didn’t settle my niggle to test so I don’t a HPT and it was positive.
sadly it ended in a MC on Christmas Day but for me there was a correlation. Some people do just get a second LH surge towards AF, but I do hope it’s a sign for you.

Thank you for sharing and so sorry about your loss. I’m going to keep tracking ovulation with premom for the next few days and see what happens. AF is due on the 4th so I’m trying to hold off testing pregnancy again until then to save disappointment. In December I did an early CB test which was positive but days later I experienced a chemical, which I doubt I would have known about had I not tested early.

I did do my last normal CB pregnancy test today which was BFN, but with it being 7DPO I wouldn’t have held out much faith anyway.

I’m sorry to hear about your losses. Yes it seems like in general there is patterns which is why I’m not very hopeful for this month.

Yes I find the apps are often not accurate for me. I realise only really on the clearblue ovulation tests I’ve been doing.
How long have you been trying for if you don’t mind me asking?
