Thought I’d make a new thread for those of us Ttc in April 2024. I know some of us will cross over from end of March to April ! Wishing everyone all the luck ✨❤️

@YourShyFinch yeah I can understand that, even if it is normal bleeding doesn’t always feel it!
@LK2610 i can feel which side I ovulate from most the time. I even had this confirmed twice on my last two pregnancy scans so I know that’s what I’m feeling. Didn’t this month though so feeling a little disheartened.
@Quolla hey! What OPKs were you using? Fingers crossed maybe it was just missed and you’re still in with a chance! I’m 3DPO so we’re at the same stage!

@Daniki meant to say that’s great news!! Sounding hopeful for this month then, and must be so nice just to get that reassurance 🥰

I’ve finally got a peak/surge on an OPK. CD17 which is super late for me (usually fairly regular - a very short peak CD13).
At least it’s here so the worry of not ovulating at all can be put out of my mind. Little positives!

Unfortunately we won’t be able to DTD again this cycle, generally we can only manage once and we’ve already used that attempt on CD12. Had a feeling it was too early but didn’t expect it to be quite so much. Hey ho, we move forward.

On to the May thread… New Year babies? 🪩

I got my peak today cd 11, dtd cd 8 & 10 and will coerce seduce OH tonight and tomorrow. I tried pre-seed last night and am going to try fertilily cup, has anyone being using this? I've put off using it so far this cycle😅

@Anitamartini I use it just for the lube effect alone! 😂

Me i get twinges in the side of the ovaries for 1 whole day and half of the next day sometimes painful some times mild still get some twinges on my left ovary now 12/14 dpo

Sorry been a bit busy today but here is today's update for everyone

So after talking to some other people or having responses to my posts seems clear and blue nondigital can have a habit of fading, I can still see a slight blue line but wouldn't pick up if I were to take a photo.

Anyway this morning on FMU on 6.5 hour hold I did another wondfo strip 10mui and a clear and simple 20mui test and both tests came up positive

attached photos are now all my tests from Friday 22nd up to today

Can I gently suggest you move on to the due in December thread you’ve started? I think it can be a bit upsetting for some to see daily updates of positive pregnancy tests and many of us are nowhere near that stage as this is the April thread. Hopefully loads of us will see you there!

@WhiteDigestives I’m sorry you’re unable to give this month another shot… at least you know you ovulated and some months it can happen later! Hopefully may help next month with predictions ☺️ and a January baby is a lovely way to enter the new year so good luck to you!
@Anitamartini my friend used the fertility cup but other than that I’ve never heard of this or used it! Let us know how it goes if you care to share! And I use pressed, it’s a nice consistency and not too sticky. It’s pricey though

So so baffled. I tested today (10DPO) and BFN. I don't really get many period symptoms and this week I've had the following:

Extreme hunger
Tiredness
Headaches
Lower abdominal cramping
VERY sore and swollen breasts
No ability to exercise (normally run and weight train 4-5x a week!)

AF due on Saturday. If she does come then this month's symptoms have really knocked me for six. I've really convinced myself I'll see a positive this month 🥲.

Not sure why I'm posting but it's reassuring to rant to people who know exactly how I feel!

I am in exactly the same position! I'm 8 dpo and my energy completely dropped off in the last week or so, I feel like I can barely exercise at all. Also sore breasts and nipples, which I've never had before like this. Have convinced myself something is happening, but nothing showing up on first response early test. Let me know what happens for you!

I often get this each month when af is due, so end up thinking it could be "the month" and get disappointed as I was always just symptom spotting. Now I allow myself to test, but not spot symptoms to keep my head in a better place lol.

It's so annoying because you really notice so many things around that time! I've been doing it for one and a half years.

But I really hope it's your month!! Xx

@WonderingAboutBabies 10dpo is still fairly early especially depending on when you have implanted and base HGC which varies for woman! I read a very interesting post on it I'll see if I can find it to share

Someone posted a thread last week recommending and there's a few other threads on here so that's convinced me to part with my money! If it works I'll definitely be back to scream it from the rooftops!

Apprently normal range of HGC in woman is 1-5. So if you've started at 1 on the lower end it's going to be around a week after implantation before you've enough HGC to detect on even the most sensitive tests. Really surprised me

I would like to join the thread! I am on cycle 6 of ttc my second and the journey is starting to get a bit lonely! My period is due on Saturday and I do not feel one bit pregnant so I don’t have high hopes.

im currently 7dpo AF is due 2/04..
this is my second cycle trying and my first tracking with OPKs
TWW is driving me crazy I feel so lonely 😭

I’m trying to hold off testing because I find that after a negative the gap between waiting for my period to start is really depressing, its a bit like limbo. Will have to wait 4 more days!

@Dogscanlookup they're a Swedish brand! RFSU I think. I used them a bit for my last TTC for my son and they worked quite well. I promised myself I would not get into testing etc this time and I lasted a month 🤣 I haven't started temping yet though, that's the next step in a month or so 😅

My first pregnancy (though I had a miscarriage before it as well) my early symptom was not being able to run! I tried to go out but got almost like hot flushes and had to stop and that's when I suspected!
