Thought I’d make a new thread for those of us Ttc in April 2024. I know some of us will cross over from end of March to April ! Wishing everyone all the luck ✨❤️

The hubby is ill so my shag week has been limited 😂

Cycle buddies! I'm 5DPO as well. I said I'd try and be more relaxed this month but I'm already symptom spotting! I'm absolutely ravenous at the moment, nothing seems to fill me up... It's the weirdest thing. Hoping it's a good thing 😆

Could be a positive sign, or you might be getting a cold! It's so hard to tell isn't it?!

Me too I want chocolate and cakes so much. Like the thought of a cake glazed in sugar right now is just divine

at this stage you won’t be officially pregnant yet so the symptoms can overlap with same as AF symptoms! In saying that, hormones start changing from conception so you never know 🤞🏻
@YaWeeFurryBastard ah its good to see we’re on the same track!! Hopefully tomorrow we’ll start seeing some results. It’s annoying because my partner goes away for work from 2nd April for a fortnight and I don’t think I can test now before he goes. I’m getting ahead of myself here but still 😂

Looks like you ovulated around 20th/21st March, did you manage to have sex on any of the purple days? The dark purple days are the days with the highest chance if you have sex then.

@dogscanlookup I've got some 10ml tests and a 2 first response coming today. My birthday is Sunday and I'll be either 7 or 8 dpo so hopefully will see something. Mostly just me being impatient and wanting to do something for myself on my birthday. Do you think it will be too early?

@emmies86 i think it’ll likely be too early - most implantation happens between 8-10 days, and it takes HCG on average two days to build (from implantation) to be seen on an early detection PG test. BUT you could implant as early as day 6… and HCG can produce quicker in some people!
It It was my birthday I would do the same for sure 🫣 but as long as you don’t let yourself get disheartened and ruin your day if it’s negative as it really is likely too soon!

I won't let it ruin the day if it's negative. If it is I'll wait until 12dpo. Might do a cheapy every morning from Sunday though just to break up the wait. When are you due to test?

Ok tmi but I am very erm.....wet down there it's clear and like lube but so much more than normal. At 5dpo is that a good sign? Also very high sex drive all of a sudden

@emmies86 Sounds like a second estrogen surge. Estrogen rises twice during cycle, first in the run up to ovulation and then again, along with progesterone, a few days after ovulation. Estrogen is what causes slippery CM and increased sex drive.

I think it's a pretty neutral sign, neither good nor bad. I have the same sometimes. For me, around 7/8dpo, the rising progesterone wipes out the good feels from the rising estrogen. CM/sex drive/ability to stop myself eating a whole tub of Haagen Dazs Pralines and Cream...they all dry up 😂

Fake tan’s on. Tonight’s the night (and every other night for the next week or two) 😂😂😂

Wishing everyone good luck for the next couple of weeks! I'm CD5 so a bit longer to wait for the 2WW! I normally ov around CD 16-18. Feel more relaxed this month after the stress of the last few. That'll probably change in a couple weeks but I'm really going to try hard not to test unless my next period is late, and only when I'm a week late. Last two chemicals happened within 2 days of being late.

I’ve joined the team dress up 😂 painted my nails, curled my hair 😂 trying to get it back to being fun instead of a “oh we need to do this or we will miss things” as much as possible cause last month ended up being a long 8-9 days when we were so like “right schedule says now” hahaha

So Flo App says my window is now closed but I'm on cycle day 14 and last cycle I ovulated day 15? Got the smiley face on pee test.

So now I'm confused. Discharge is clearer today and way more slippery.

I feel like I'm ovulating now so do I have one more day to pester the husband???

As I ran out of ovulation test before my peak 😂🫣 I duno when and if it’s happened , newbie over her will be better prepared next month! Current status is high cervix firm, and milk like thin CM , wouldn’t know if this sounds like post ovulation or pre :) currently CD 16 xxx

@LindyMoe I had a similar thing happen this month. App predicted I ovulated Cd12 even though last month it was Cd15 and I've had lots more ewcm since Cd12.

It's not that accurate and doesn't take in to account that your luteal phase could be shorter (in my instance) definitely trust your own body before an app xx

From using ovulation strips I realised my Flo app always predicts ovulation one or two days early. It was 5 days out last month. It’s just an algorithm at the end of the day. I’d use Flo as a rough guide but take it with a pinch of salt @LindyMoe

Oo I am 4DPO today so we'll be testing in the same few days! I've also felt a bit sniffly, my circulation in my hands has gone a bit weird as well. I get raynauds but usually only in the winter time and over the last day it's happening constantly. Obviously I am now on to google... haha
