Thought I’d make a new thread for those of us Ttc in April 2024. I know some of us will cross over from end of March to April ! Wishing everyone all the luck ✨❤️

@Daniki With TTC, my cycle is now split into three phases in my mind: Shark Week, Shag Week and Two Week Wait 😂- Shag Week is definitely my favourite phase!

@RW269 I have a sudden LH surge. I don't use premom but last cycle second line on my clear blue was very faint up to CD12 at 8.30am. Only a few hours later with second morning urine at midday, it was suddenly much darker and a clear positive. No gradual rise or fall, peak on CD13 and by CD14 it was back to super faint.

Joining as I'm either 2 or 3 dpo. Very nervous waiting for test day. When do you all start testing with easy@home tests?

Holiday definitely chilled us out a bit, hopefully that will help this cycle. Currently on CD10 and usually have my peak on CD13, so not long. Seconding the ‘busy week’ ahead @YaWeeFurryBastard!

Happy but jealous is me at the moment too. Someone at work is pregnant and obviously I’m happy for her, but also think why couldn’t that be us? It’s hard to be around, for sure.

Are period type pains 2dpo normal? It's very fleeting like a few seconds now and again

I would hold off until at least 12DPO onwards, I drove myself a bit up the wall last cycle and it doesn't change the outcome. Guides tend to suggest there's not really any symptoms until at least implantation which can be anywhere from 8DPO to 12DPO.

@emmies86j agree try and avoid testing til around 12dpo as you will drive yourself insane like I do every single month from 8dpo 😂

2nd month trying and lady month I started at 7dpo and drove me and my husband crazy.

What do you mean by 0? Is your lh not rising at all? I'm also new to them, but my lh seems quite high here are mine for reference. Mine are always above 0, I usually start tracking on last day of period which is day 4/5.

@emmies86 i’ve started progesterone testing from last month. So 7DPO you start testing and can see if your levels are where they should be. When mine dipped as a negative result on 10DPO I knew I was very unlikely not pregnant. It’s not guaranteed but it help break up the TWW and I still felt like I was testing somewhat!

@Risingsun93 as in anything under 1.0 is zero is what we mean. And to go over 1.0 is usually when you're surging/ at your peak! Mine only goes over 1 at the peak and I'm back down really low zero's then

@Dogscanlookup how do you test for progesterone? Are you doing it at home?

@Daniki I just went into my app to have a look and iv been going by the lh level which is this one? Which one are you supposed to follow for the surge?

FINALLY AF has arrived 5 days late so CD1 eventually 😮‍💨

I think this is the last month I'll leave it up to the app. I giving things a miss next month for personal reason so I think I'll test out the opks and get my head round them in time for mays shag week 😂 that is if course if I don't have a Christmas baby on my hands. Based on LMP it would be a Christmas eve due day 😱

@Risingsun93 your tests won't be right as they are facing the wrong way. The max needs to be on left hand side and the blue LH strip on the right. So your CD 13 actually looks to be your highest I'd say you're ovulation is CD14!

Yes you can download the premom app and log your tests there, so handy as it does the readings for you!
