Thought I’d make a new thread for those of us Ttc in April 2024. I know some of us will cross over from end of March to April ! Wishing everyone all the luck ✨❤️

I'm really glad I ditched the OPKS this month and feel a lot more relaxed because of it. Although we've only DTD every other day but pretty much since last day of period and going to carry on throughout LP. Hopefully that works 🤞🏼

Based on my symptoms I think I'm about 1dpo too! Are you an early tester or will you hold out? Loving the positivity ❤️

Partner and have I decided to start trying for baby number 2! Not due to ovulate until next week according to my app (but this is probably wrong as I have irregular periods every 29-37 days)

I only ever tested once my period was late last month - I didn't have any tests so I had to go out and buy them. However, this month is the first month I've used OPKs and the pack came with some pregnancy tests...
However, we're with family over Easter and they know we're TTC and we're kind of tempted to not test until after the weekend so we don't have to lie if they ask how it's going!

@YaWeeFurryBastard I have mastered the “oh I’m so happy for you!” Phrase then I go home and sulk 😂😂😂 like it’s such a mixed feeling isn’t it being happy for them but also feeling so irritated and jealous. My SIL is expecting in June and when I say there is baby stuff all around me (we’re with the in-laws a lot) I mean like 24/7 it’s a killer!

@Suburbandreams I use preseed like normal lube because we usually have quickies 😂 it's great cuz I feel I'm drier than I used to be anyway 😂

Had a few drinks yest and went home early to avoid a hangover/ but didn't work as I was terribly hungover anyway 🤢 I can't drink for shite anymore so I never really drink!

CD5 here so AF should be finished in a day or 2. And then back on the saddle 😂

@LK2610 same! Iv my follicle ultrasound booked for next Tuesday which is day 13 so hopefully not too late and can use the trigger shot then! 🤞🏻

Anyone who’s used the Premom ovulation strips before, how long before ovulation does it go above 0 roughly? I’m due to ovulate predicted in 6 days (obv I know that can be wrong it’s just predicted) but I’m still on 0 on the tests does it go up pretty fast or a slow build? :)

@LK2610 I use pre seed. Syringes aren’t exactly sexy 😂 but I do it just before he gets into bed so it’s not quite so… formal?!

I feel fertile this month.. not sure if that sounds weird ha. TMI but Still feeling wetter than usual!

@LK2610 @Daniki On CD5 too, AF is about done so also moving from shark week to shag week in the next day or two 😂

I think it depends, some people it builds up over time and then some people (me) get rapid surge so it suddenly goes really high, I think both are fine. I usually start testing once a day from CD9 and twice a day from CD12 so I don’t miss it.

@RW269 I used them last month. I was getting 0.15-0.20 from CD5 - 12 and then on the eve of CD12 they stated getting higher and peaking on the eve of CD13

Ah so I had reeeeally bad bloating this month from CD10 - CD12 Which I assumed is when I was ovulating.

I now don't have any real bloating but have a lot of EWCM at CD14! Does anyone think this would mean I haven't ovulated yet?

I read online that 50% of people get a gradual surge and 50% get a quick one @RW269 also personally mine never gets above 0.9 - that’s my peak. You have to use them for a couple of months to figure out your own pattern. I’ve used them for two cycles now and still figuring it out x

Ok so officially joining! CD1 after period was 3 days late?! Fingers crossed for some Christmas babies! I've ordered a thermometer to start tracking bbt but not sure how accurate it'll be as I'm constantly waking up through the night?

@RW269 my opks live around the low 0's and I get a very quick surge over 1/2 days and that's it. I get like 1 or 2 readings over 1!

@RW269 yea defo, I always test twice and then when I see it getting higher I test up to 4 times a day to not miss the peak! What CD are you on? 🤗

Asking for some advice... I got a peak of 1.15 on Sunday and lots of ewcm. Assumed I was still to get peak at this point so only dtd on Sunday and Monday.

It dropped to 0.6 yesterday and ewcm has vanished.. would have expected ewcm to stick around for a bit longer. Will re test again tonight to see that it is still going down.

Not feeling totally hopeful this month for some reason. Do you think we've missed it?

So I was about to lose all hope and think I didn’t ovulate this month until my levels finally increased this morning, I’m now on 0.65 apparently which is a marked increase from the last few days. I’d say stick with it and monitor your levels. You might find that you’re a slow builder or a quick peaker. If my levels continue to rise, it will confirm that my apps have been predicting it all wrong. I was meant to have finished ovulation now according to FLO and Femia, so I’m hoping premom is the accurate one!

Defo didn't miss it, you would have done the deed on the best days! If it was that high on Sunday that was your peak which would put ovulation yesterday. DTD the day before ovulation is considered the best day as sperm sitting waiting on the egg. Wouldn't worry about the EWCM, you had some which is great. Men lasts a short length too!
