I went to reply and you were right, the thread was full so I couldnt post a link to a new thread, also, because it's a new thread it wont give me a prediction to tag when I type a name, so I have just copied and paste the names off of everyone who posted on the very last page of the thread, I hope anyone else can find it OK. Sorry, maybe there is an easier better way... if anyone else can remember extra names and spellings, please tag 🙂

@Ladyinpink1 I am just constantly busy anyway it seems 😂I often feel like my life is like a speeding car I don't have a brake for. I am seeing a few friends this weekend as well as the usual family roast we have on a Sunday. I also have a spa day booked with my mum a week on thurs so that will be nice, then she is staying the weekend. Then the usual work work work! I'm going to try and focus my mind on other things this month as otherwise it feels like the time is going soooo slowly. Yes it's like walking a line between feeling hope and not allowing yourself to hope too much isn't it. Just because it's taking some time doesn't mean it's impossible, but I can understand you feeling that way. Even when I don't want to feel hope so I don't get disappointed, I still do, I don't think you can help it.

Ladyinpink1 · 13/04/2024 07:42

@UrsulaSings123 oooh, a spa day and some time with your mum will be so nice, and can't beat a roast dinner. That's good that you are busy, hoping it helps keep your mind off of things a little.
I early tested today, it was bfn, I just couldn't resist lol. I had no more dreams last night and I have no symptoms at all, feeling very unpregnant.
Trying to decide whether to track or not for next cycle. x

OP posts:
UrsulaSings123 · 13/04/2024 14:31

@Ladyinpink1 ahhh sorry it was negative. It's so difficult not to test even when you know it will 95% likely be negative, even if you are indeed pregnant. Could you just do opks and no bbt? So kind of track but just tone it down a bit. Or do another cycle with no tracking at all and then start tracking again if it doesn't work?

Ladyinpink1 · 13/04/2024 21:33

Yes, your right, maybe try one more relaxed then just opks. Hope your weekend is going well and you enjoy your roast tomorrow 🙂 x

@Ladyinpink1 thank you for your kindness the other day ♥️ I think I that's why I wanted to rant about it all on here cuz I knew you guys would get it. Just feel like life has been so stressful with one thing or another since we had that TFMR and it's just not getting any easier no matter what / how hard I try :( been so relaxed previously when I've conceived, don't feel like I'll ever be relaxed again. Hopefully a holiday will sort it. Sorry you got a bfn - how are you feeling about it all?

@UrsulaSings123 glad you dtd at the right time the other day and thank you for your reassuring words! Totally with you on the speeding car life thing. It's my birthday soon and I really wanted to book a hotel by myself for the night 😂 to watch tv and eat uninterrupted, but can't do that as we've hired a cleaner and that's the only day she can start so got to be in

@13lucy I've read about taking that L-Arginine supplement and doing exercise to increase blood flow. I feel like the HIIT I've been doing is maybe too intense though, with this cycle being shorter as it said extreme exercise can cause that. Need to get walking more regularly and focus on step count but put my Apple Watch through the wash a second time today and it barely survived the first 😅 so not sure how to track steps/sleep now. Thinking of you and big hugs this weekend ♥️ forgetting to temp is a great step in the right direction! How is your mindfulness going?

@ThelastRolo20 I'm back on Vinted! For myself now though 😏 when is it you go away? Hopefully your af came at a normal enough time like you said

ThelastRolo20 · 13/04/2024 23:08

@samilicious we're going away next Friday, but we're also away this weekend seeing family in Taunton. AF due Monday/ Tuesday but I'm having some mild cramps so may come tomorrow. Tbf that would be ideal as it would be finishing when we go away!

Can't believe I'm finally coming up to our TTC cycle....

ThelastRolo20 · 14/04/2024 06:35

@Ladyinpink1 sorry about the BFN, when is AF due? Are you going to test again today?

After 3 veeery long months AF is here! I'm finally cycle day 1 and back to TTC! 🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻

Ladyinpink1 · 14/04/2024 07:15

@samilicious It's a vicious cycle isn't it, and trying to stay relaxed when ttc is very tough. How are you feeling today? Will you try anything new this cycle? x

@ThelastRolo20 yay for your period arriving! And you have been so patient these past 3 months, well done.
Bfn this morning so looks like I will be joining you this cycle. I am due my period on Thurs. Feeling ok about things just can't believe I'm going onto cycle 9 now and long it is taking. Might try to find a thread where ladies have been ttc for a similar time to see if i can find some encouraging stories of success.
I'm going to change my eating habits this month to be mostly super healthy, I say mostly because I need a few naughty foods in the week to be happy lol. Going to try walking more too.
Not long until your holiday now then, I'm sure you can't wait. Hope your trip this weekend went well too.
Are you trying anything new this cycle? x

jellyfish2 · 14/04/2024 12:08

@ThelastRolo20 woohoo 🥳🥳 keep us updated! I can't wait for mine to arrive..another (almost) two weeks yet.

13lucy · 14/04/2024 12:59

@Ladyinpink1 sorry that you've got a BFN - I really feel for you with it being so long and you're always so supportive to everyone on here. It's strange with the period flow stopping, especially as I've never had it before. Good to know it's happened with you too! Does it happen every cycle or not?

The TWW is definitely the worst part of my cycle and I end up in a tearful mess around the time of AF! I actually felt worse at that time than I do today on my original due date. I've been trying to keep busy and kind of ignore it because as much as it is a date that will forever be in my mind and could have been something very different, it isn't and I am where I am so trying not to dwell on it. I've not mentioned it to DH as I don't think it will help him (he likes to look forward), but I am wondering whether he knows.

@UrsulaSings123 yeh BBT isn't very fun! It's the first thing you think about every morning which gets a bit all consuming. I've managed to get to a point where I'm not too stressed about it for the first couple of weeks of my cycle but then it gets a bit intense for the rest of it! Thinking I might just do another couple of cycles with it and then look at stopping it. I just want to have all the data I can about my cycles and it has helped in the past where I think I've hit LH peak but then haven't ovulated, otherwise I think I'd have missed it!

@samilicious I've been running 3 times a week for a couple of weeks now and it's had a huge impact on my mental health, hopefully it will help things physically too! Starting to think I may as well get back to running/sport as otherwise I'm putting my life on hold for something that might not happen. In my head I thought I could deal with it for a few months until I got pregnant again but that was wishful thinking! I think as long as your body fat doesn't get low and you're getting the nutrients you need then exercise isn't a bad thing. How much HIIT have you been doing? Mindfulness is going well thanks and I've been doing yoga most days too - definitely feeling the effects of spring and being more active/feeling happier generally!

ThelastRolo20 · 14/04/2024 13:07

@Ladyinpink1 thank you ❤️ if it's not Thursday it's still too early maybe? But if it does arrive I'll be with you - understand about wanting to find people who are in the same boat as you. Same way I tend to join groups where people have had two back to back MMCs x

My weekend has been lovely thanks, definitely on count down to Friday (apart from the 2am alarm clock!)

ThelastRolo20 · 14/04/2024 13:08

@jellyfish2 not long now! 2 weeks will go by quickly xx

samilicious · 14/04/2024 22:39

@ThelastRolo20 wooo can't believe the day is finally here! So excited for you genuinely, feel like we've all been on the countdown together. How was Taunton?

@Ladyinpink1 I'm with you on exercising and eating more healthily this cycle. I know they say having weight around your middle is bad for fertility and main place I put it on these days. Just ordered a fake Apple Watch off Amazon that had good reviews as I put my real one through the wash twice in the last week and it won't come on 🫠

@13lucy I thought the same about exercise, but the short cycle this month has really thrown me. I'd been doing HIIT 3-4 times a week for about a month. I was really enjoying it and my AF has been a bit heavier this cycle which makes me think thicker lining. But then shorter cycle so messing with hormones? 🤔 haven't been sleeping well, been working loads at night and also had Covid this week so could have contributed to short cycle this time

samilicious · 14/04/2024 22:40

Also if you find any threads like that let me know! Been actively trying since July/August now and my longest before was 8 months which is laughable now considering how stressed I was. Going to have a look into L-Arginine supplement too

samilicious · 14/04/2024 23:02

Does anyone take Ashwagandha? Has anyone ever used Wild Nutrition? They seem like a more spenny version of Together Health IMO but there's a really good review on there about their fertility stuff

ThelastRolo20 · 15/04/2024 08:22

@samilicious I had a lovely weekend thanks ❤️

COVID can definitely shorten cycles. I'm pretty clockwork at 28 days and had a 21 day one last year when I had it!

13lucy · 16/04/2024 14:57

@samilicious that is strange, I think if I've learned anything from the past year it's that nothing really makes sense with cycles and TTC 😂when I had COVID it lengthened my cycle by a week. I'm never regular with it though.

I'm around CD12 now so at that stage again where I feel hopefully.

UrsulaSings123 · 16/04/2024 15:47

Hi everyone feels like I've not been on here for ages but in reality it's only been a few days! I'm 4dpo today and been feeling much better this time. I don't feel the almighty pressure of the first month post MC desperately wanting to be pregnant. The days don't seem to be dragging as much and I've tried to focus on other things. We DTD literally every day up to peak and then the day after peak, and now wondering whether we should have done it the day after that as well 😂 I'm not feeling particularly hopeful this month for some reason, I feel like I know its not going to be positive. Next month I think we'll try every other day then 3 days when I get a peak, which is what I said I'd do this month haha but got carried away leading up to it worrying we wont DTD enough and subsequently couldn't be arsed to do it on the 3rd day. Ah well.

@Ladyinpink1 sorry about your negative test... are you having any investigations at all? I'm wondering whether to go to the GP if I get negative this month but I'm not really sure what they would be able to do and whether they count the time pre-MC or whether that 'starts the clock' again. Not that I think there's something wrong (fingers crossed) but maybe might feel like I'm doing something towards getting that positive that I'm not already doing.

UrsulaSings123 · 16/04/2024 15:49

@ThelastRolo20 hope you enjoy your holiday! I'm sure you're well in the throes of pre holiday organisation and packing. My mind goes into overload trying to think of everything!

@samilicious never heard of those supplements! Sounds interesting!

ThelastRolo20 · 16/04/2024 16:49

@UrsulaSings123 so glad you're feeling a bit more.relaxed this month. Sounds like you've had good coverage over ovulation so fingers crossed for you! When are you thinking of testing?

Work is busy so trying to juggle that alongside broken cars and catching up on washing now that machine is fixed! Never ending but I won't care when I'm at the airport Friday morning 😂

I'll be entering fertile week from mid holiday which is nice timing, but I have low hopes given this is essentially cycle 1. Will just have to see what happens!

Ladyinpink1 · 16/04/2024 22:23

@13lucy Thank you, it happens most cycles but sometimes only stops for half a day, for instance I will have a little in the morning near the end of my period then nothing all day then at bedtime bam it's back lol normally just a little and it is at the very end everytime. I think it's quite normal though. Aw, I'm really sorry you had to deal with your due date ❤️, it's a horrible time feeling like how things could of been, did you end up talking to dh? How are you doing now today? x

It will be worth the early start for the lovely time away in the sunshine @ThelastRolo20 . Yes I just want to read other experiences where it's ended positively after trying for a while to feel encouraged because I was feeling discouraged about it all x

You are in the same boat as me timewise then @samilicious I actually found a thread, not sure whether this site or another because I searched through Google but it was encouraging it was an old thread but basically lots of ladies put in how long they were trying for and the majority were the sane amount of time as us or longer and I actually read a comment soneone posted that they focused on the statistics of the year not of each month and how long they were trying and the statistics of getting a bfp within a year were really high, that made me feel better too. Hope I've typed it in a way that makes sense and is helpful to you too.
My smart watch was just a cheap amazon one and it's been great. Not heard of Ashwagandha but definitely going to Google it after lol x

Hi@UrsulaSings123 thank you.
I'm glad things are easier for you this month and it sounds like you have covered your bases really well, i think we all obsess after over whether we have dtd enough or not but your days sound good to me.
Actually funny you should mention it, I have been waiting for inbestigations since August (they have a huge backed up waiting list as it's done through my epu) and I finally got the call yesterday! Ny appointment is next week so I'm really pleased about that. X

Anyone who has has the recurrant tests, do you remember what did they test your blood for exactly? I tried looking it up but couldn't get a clear list of tests xx

CD1 ttc after loss carry on thread #3
emmatcc1 · 17/04/2024 00:19

@Wise0wl Oh my is liver problems connected with miscarriage?

13lucy · 17/04/2024 08:58

@UrsulaSings123 I know what the overthinking is like but sounds like you've done enough! I think generally the clock starts again in terms of fertility testing unless there's a reason to have it sooner e.g. age or other conditions. I was having investigations about a year ago as my periods stopped, but then fell pregnant. I've had more tests post miscarriage as my cycles are still very irregular but my GP has now said wait another 2 or 3 months, which will be about 8 cycles of trying. Sorry if you've said before but how long did it take you last time?

@ThelastRolo20 feel like we've been waiting for your holiday for so long and it's finally almost here! Exciting times and with fertile week not far away. Did you say you were going away with family?

@Ladyinpink1 I've been on thanks, trying not to think about it too much but it catches me every now and then. Managing someone at work who's at their halfway point now has been really tough. It's like a constant reminder of where I went to be - work has also increased paid maternity leave and DH work have increased paternity. Would have been perfect timing so feels like a big joke being played on me if you know what I mean. I didn't end up talking to DH and felt ok keeping it to myself. Luckily I was at the time in my cycle where my mood tends to be best! Still can't believe how quickly time has gone and I'm still in the same position, just more broken mentally and physically!

Great that you're getting tests done. How do you feel about it? You'll have to keep us updated on what they do and how you get on.

UrsulaSings123 · 17/04/2024 20:38

Well I was feeling relaxed but for some stupid reason I've just been looking at chances of pregnancy for 35 and scared myself. It seems to vary with what website you're looking at annoyingly. I feel really deflated and sad now 😕

@13lucy luckily I got pregnant quite quickly the first time, but after reading all that it feels like it was just a total fluke now! If you include the time prior to MC we've been trying for over 6 months and with my age I'd be able to speak to the GP about it, especially as my OH is 51. Still keep umming about whether it's worth it though.

@Ladyinpink1 that's great you've finally got the call, can't believe you've been waiting since August! Is that to do with recurrent miscarriage or because of the length of time you've been ttc? I hope the appointment is helpful for you.

@ThelastRolo20 ahhh that all sounds very stressful! Are you planning on taking a relaxed approach this cycle, or going all in? I am planning on testing on Saturday at 8dpo. Definitely too early but why kid myself ill hold out! 😂
