TTC after chemical - anyone with me?

ToeBeans24 · 29/02/2024 14:49

Hello

My OH and I are currently TTC.

We had a BFP earlier this month which seemed like a miracle as it was only our first month TTC.

Sadly that ended in a CP at 4w6d 🥺. We were devastated but really want to remain as positive as possible and are going to continue TTC.

I'm currently on CD10. Usually ovulate around CD13-14 but expecting it to be a little delayed possibly this month after the CP. I'm using OPKs for the first time this month to track!

Anyone with me on the journey of TTC after a CP? I'd love to hear from you so we are in it together 🩷

@ToeBeans24 ive been having very little symptoms feel absolutely normal 95% of the time. And I know my hcg has increased (only threw cb digitals) easier said than done but try not to worry I seen posts daily about people having the same worry’s around this timeframe- there’s a group dec/Christmas babies maybe join it and a read a lot are the same weeks etc..

ToeBeans24 · 25/04/2024 09:17

Thanks @Nbaby that's reassuring. I know it’s silly but I’m terrified to join any groups yet. Last time I downloaded apps, joined the oct baby group on here and registered with midwife and it was taken away from me. So I’m so scared! Thinking of waiting til 6 weeks (since LMP, but I’ll be about 5 weeks I think) then I’ll take the plunge x

Just beautiful @SanityChecks thrilled for you!
im having a wobble today and not sure why.

Pregnancy after loss is so hard. I knew it would be tough but im a ball of anxiety 😥. Not testing until tomorrow as I promised myself I’ll only do every 48hrs.

But my HR on my Fitbit is down. I know that can be caused by various things but has made me anxious.

And I’ve woken up and feel like my boobs aren’t as sore.

Anyone have fluctuating symptoms early on? @SanityChecks @Riverstardust @Nbaby

@ToeBeans24 I was exactly the same, when my boobs felt all swollen and sore I thought it was a good sign then a few days later it stopped and I panicked. I was weeing non stop for a couple of weeks then that stopped and I panicked then too, but then the scan was fine and it seems the hormones just do what they like, when they like!
I had 3 days this week of not feeling pregnant at all! My sickness went away, I wasn't exhausted like I had been for weeks. I was thrilled for the first 2 days then on day 3 started to panic just for all the symptoms to come crashing back today!
My heart rate has been relatively low for pregnancy the last couple of times I've had it done at the doctors too and one was the same day as the scan so I think it's just one of those things.
I hope some of that is reassuring but I know from experience nothing any of us says will really settle you, pregnancy after loss is a unique experience of joy, grief and panic and I honestly don't know when it stops feeling that way. But talking it through has helped me so just shout if you are worried x

ToeBeans24 · 25/04/2024 16:34

Appreciate that so much @SanityChecks i did a Morrisons test today and it’s a lot darker than Monday. I think not knowing how many dpo I am isn’t helping. 5 weeks today according to my LMP but I’m going to take a week off as think I ovulated a week late. So I’m hoping these tests look good as at 4 weeks last time they were v faint.

Ive downloaded a pregnancy after loss book which is helping and there’s a section each day to read depending how far along you are.

So good to know your symptoms are fluctuating too. I’ve been more crampy today xx

@ToeBeans24 that's looking so good!! Hopefully that's brought you some peace today! May it keep progressing!

ToeBeans24 · 26/04/2024 09:50

Thanks @Riverstardust i was flapping so much as this morning I felt like my boobs were less sore. Although symptoms can fluctuate right?

My main concern is my HR on my Fitbit going down. Before that was a sign of my CP. However I’m trying my best to be rational and think I’ve significantly reduced caffeine intake and stopped nicotine all together. And both those things were stimulants that would raise my HR?

OP posts:
Riverstardust · 26/04/2024 10:08

@ToeBeans24 symptoms fluctuating is completely normal. I still get days when everything feels normal.

All sounds fine, caffeine and nicotine will definitely increase those levels. Here's my resting heart rate chart since I had my bfp. Hopefully that'll help you feel better about it. It's all up and down. I stopped keeping an eye on my temp and heart rate after the first week as it was stressing me.

@ToeBeans24 your tests look brilliant!

Riverstardust · 26/04/2024 10:42

@ToeBeans24 of course. We're all on a rollercoaster so if we can help each other then that's what it's about. 😊

Eatsleepbakerepeat · 26/04/2024 23:30

Congrats to those wjrh BFP how exciting and gives so much hope 🤞🤞
How are the rest of everyone doing?

SanityChecks · 28/04/2024 12:18

@ToeBeans24 my heart rate is all over the place according to my fitbit! It was climbing consistently for the first few weeks of finding out I was pregnant and then it's up and down like a yoyo. My scan and midwife appointment were only last week which seems to be when the lowest dip was and I know everything was fine then so I'm not thinking too much of it. Your tests are definitely progressing nicely though so hopefully that's a good sign!

ToeBeans24 · 28/04/2024 12:44

Thanks @SanityChecks heart rate has held last few days. Also got the darkest test I’ve had on a supermarket (Morrisons) one yesterday.

No real change in today’s Frer compared to 2 days ago but the line is still dark so I’m keeping positive!

@ToeBeans24 how you getting on? How many weeks do you think you are?

ToeBeans24 · 03/05/2024 13:12

@Nbaby thanks for checking in! I’m either 5-6 weeks I think. I did a CB digital Monday and got 2-3 weeks. I got that before at 5w3d (confirmed as I had a scan which dated me following this) so not too worried.

Will do another digital next week.

Have light cramps but other than that ok. No sickness other than chicken made me gag the other day. My boobs are v sore now.

I’ve took my Fitbit off and stopped testing (somehow!). Have my booking appt in 2 weeks.

How are you? How many weeks now?

@ToeBeans24 tests are looking good. Yeah my Clearblue also done that I just done them a week apart from each other rather than focusing on the weeks/dates etc.
Im 7 weeks today and have a scan tomorrow so hopefully all goes well. So nervous..
woke up this morning with awful sickness first time I’ve been feeling sick, my last pregnancy I had HG but was so sick much earlier.

ToeBeans24 · 03/05/2024 13:34

@Nbaby exciting! Please let me know how it goes.

As I’m not sure on dates I’m going to hold off booking a scan until I’m 8/9 weeks I think. So 3
more weeks to go!

I guess every pregnancy is different isn’t it so I wouldn’t worry about the nausea coming later and not as bad. I say that even though I’m sorry I don’t have any haha but I’ve also read and know many close friends and family who had no nausea or even symptoms at all and delivered healthy babies 🤞🏻🙏🏻🤍

OP posts:
TheShellBeach · 03/05/2024 15:31

In my four successful pregnancies, I had varying degrees of nausea and occasional vomiting, at different times. I don't think that an absence of nausea is a worrying sign.

Nbaby · 04/05/2024 12:49

@ToeBeans24 had my scan there this morning seen a heartbeat so that’s a relief , edd Christmas Day.. although this will more than likely change. So sick today

ToeBeans24 · 04/05/2024 14:43

@Nbaby eeek huge congrats! At the mo based on my LMP my due date is Boxing Day !!!

How many weeks are you now?

Sorry to hear you are sick today! No sickness for me yet but I’m telling myself that’s ok as have a sister and close friend who didn’t get it 🤞🏻🤞🏻

OP posts:
Nbaby · 04/05/2024 14:57

@ToeBeans24 im 7w +1 but not worried as with my first I was behind near a week behind at my 8 week scan and she caught up at the 12 week scan I just assume it’s because everything is so small. Ive barely any symptoms only sickness the last 2 days before that I wouldn’t have thought I was even pregnant. Here’s to a healthy 9 months to us both 🤞🤞

ToeBeans24 · 04/05/2024 15:13

Ahhh I see @Nbaby what did they measure you at today? As I’m 6w2d from LMP. I’m gonna wait until 8/9 weeks for scan I think xx

OP posts:
Nbaby · 04/05/2024 16:07

@ToeBeans24 They measured me 6w3/4 days some measurements said 3 some said 4. I’m off on holidays next week and just wanted to make sure everything was in right place, definitely 8/9week mark is much better
