TTC after chemical - anyone with me?

Hello

My OH and I are currently TTC.

We had a BFP earlier this month which seemed like a miracle as it was only our first month TTC.

Sadly that ended in a CP at 4w6d 🥺. We were devastated but really want to remain as positive as possible and are going to continue TTC.

I'm currently on CD10. Usually ovulate around CD13-14 but expecting it to be a little delayed possibly this month after the CP. I'm using OPKs for the first time this month to track!

Anyone with me on the journey of TTC after a CP? I'd love to hear from you so we are in it together 🩷

I have a dodgy thyroid so have yearly bloods anyway that were due, they said they wouldn't do any more tests until I'd had 3 miscarriages but just wondrr if they're likely to act on a routine test that may or may not have shown something to indicate the loses

8dpo is still early! There still a chance 🤞

Thanks @Eatsleepbakerepeat annoyed at myself as said I wouldn’t test Til tomorrow which is already quite early ! Just feel so desperate and down since the loss 😢

It’s the anxiety that I’ll never see 2 lines again followed by the anxiety that if/when I do, will I bring a baby home. All the unknown I’m struggle to handle.

I didn’t get a bfp til cd28 (14dpo) with my chemical. Unsure if that was due to late implantation or the fact it was a chemical (or both). When did you test positive?

It's awful isn't it! You think the 2ww is going to be the worse but I think until you hear the heartbeat I'll be a mess!

I tested 3 day pre period and then with my miscarriage didn't test until day pf AF

I do have DS who is 3, and with him didn't test positive until I was 1 day late so I do think testing is pot luck sometimes!

Oh I know I keep hoping that too but just don't 'feel' pregnant!

It's so bloody hard isn't it, I tested from 8dpo. I knew it would be negative but still tested!

You definitely still have hope yet though @ToeBeans24

@Eatsleepbakerepeat you're right, it is pot luck with testing. Was thinking earlier that someone should invent a home betahcg monitor like a finger prink for blood sugar testing and then it would stop all the stress in the tww for us doing a million tests!

BFN for me at 9dpo. I know it’s early days but I’m just running out of hope. I’m so upset today

I've got cramps and spotting and still bfn at 12dpo so my hope is all gone.

9DPO is definitely still early though, I have never got a bfp before 11dpo so you are definitely still in.

So hard to keep the faith though,

We discussed IVF again last night. Have a fertility review in July and then think we will go for it after that.

My husband had his vasectomy reversed Jan 2023 so we've been trying since then. Had a chemical in Feb. We both have 2 children from our previous marriages and I'm getting twitched as I'm 39 so feel like time is running out for me.

@teampacey good that you have something booked in July just for peace of mind. This is only month 3 ttc so I know I’m being inpatient. But as I know you’ll appreciate, after a loss the desire to conceive again is just stronger xx

@ToeBeans24 My tests got dark and then took another frer this morning and much lighter, very frustrating I was up all night as well worrying for some reason before I took this test. How you getting on?

So sorry @Nbaby have you had any bloods or can you request any? I tested Friday at 9DPO and was negative. Haven’t tested since. Going to tomorrow at what will be 12dpo. Feel deflated and not even tested yet. Been so positive this cycle and after Friday I just lost my optimism. I’m thinking of you and sending so much love though xx

@ToeBeans24 Don’t think my doctors will even see me. My tests are still positive but not dark but clear positive's still and no bleeding yet. Not much symptoms . Last few days my morning tests aren’t good but pick up afternoon/evenings. Very much up in the air atm I know my tests should be darker but not seeing a major decline yet maybe takes a few days ?

Any luck? Hopefully you get your bfp

bfn today 12dpo. Feeling really low x

Yesterday morning and last night top 2. Today’s bottom two. My last chemical tests never got very strong and went down rapidly. Very very confused might have to contact gp to try get bloods. Aw hopefully it’s just to early for you x

11dpo and started spotting today which is getting heavier so af is on her way

I have no idea where I'm at, I had a CP 5th April and the GP said to start trying straight away which we have, I have no idea when I'll.ovulate this month but I feel awful today, like I did in early pregnancy with my DS but I don't think it's physically possible for that to be the case
I'm hoping my hormones calm down soon! So over this
Really hoped this month would be my month but feeling very unsure now

Thank you. I started spotting whilst busy at work and didn’t really have time to think about it just accepted it. I had a busy evening and then got into bed and it all just hig me and I burst into tears! This journey is so difficult

@Nbaby how are you getting on? I still don’t have AF and bfn at 16dpo so I think I either ov later than positive opk or not at all 😢 hate not knowing where I am in my cycle x

@ToeBeans24 ah sorry to hear 😔 nothing worst that the not knowing. How you feeling?
I’ve been on a real rollercoaster still have no idea why my tests had the dip, ever since they got darker and darker, and got my 2-3 on Wednesday so all being well I should get my 3+ on Wednesday even though technically I should get it from Friday past there I’m just giving it time not to cause more panic. Feel nothing though completely normal which is causing me to worry and still testing like a crazy person.
never got to the doctors to confirm so if I get the 3 It will give me some confirmation

@Nbaby i think I just got a bfp? 🥹🥹 bfn on Friday but it wasn’t a frer. I think I must’ve ovulated later. No idea where I am in my cycle or how many DPO.

line came up within 1 min. Will test again with the same test I used on Friday to see if levels higher.
