TTC after chemical - anyone with me?

Hello

My OH and I are currently TTC.

We had a BFP earlier this month which seemed like a miracle as it was only our first month TTC.

Sadly that ended in a CP at 4w6d 🥺. We were devastated but really want to remain as positive as possible and are going to continue TTC.

I'm currently on CD10. Usually ovulate around CD13-14 but expecting it to be a little delayed possibly this month after the CP. I'm using OPKs for the first time this month to track!

Anyone with me on the journey of TTC after a CP? I'd love to hear from you so we are in it together 🩷

How’s everyone doing? I guess I’m out as not event a faint line today at 13dpo and think I’m starting to spot. So deflated after you read so much about people conceiving the month after a chemical 🥺

Hi - so sorry to hear that. The gruelling tww is so tough and then that moment you see spotting/af is so disappointing. I get so upset at af thinking about what could have been. Give yourself time to be upset/angry about this cycle and do something nice for yourself and look forward to a new cycle.

I’m about 7dpo (haven’t used ovulation sticks so going by app) and symptom spotting which I think is more in my head than anything. I seem to be under some illusion it won’t end in a loss like the last 4 - trying to stay positive and avoid testing early.

Hey! I am 3 DPO after a chemical pregnancy last month. I feel like I’ve been waiting FOREVER since my last period and only ovulated on CD20. Like another poster - I had the strongest/most positive OPK I’ve ever had this cycle, I don’t know if that means anything but really trying not to get my hopes up. Hi @robinmarl so sorry to hear about your CP. my ov symptoms were much much stronger this cycle (first one after CP) and I’ve had sore breasts since ovulation. Sadly for me a bfn at 13dpo so think I’m out. Was really hoping 😢

@ToeBeans24 how are you doing? Is AF due today? Sorry about your BFN yesterday.
AF arrived for me yesterday so onto the next cycle for me.

I feel your pain, I think I felt worse after the first failed month post CP than the actual CP. I was so convinced I'd be pregnang again straight away that I don't think I processed my feelings fully immediately after and then the next period it all hit me at once. The period hormones definitely don't help either!

@SanityChecks youve put it perfectly ! I don’t think I dealt with the grief at all. I just cracked on and it’s been all consuming. 2 weeks of ov sticks followed by TWW and preg sticks. Feel like it was all for nothing 😔

How are you doing now lovely? Remember you had a faint line a few weeks back? Xx

@ToeBeans24 faint lines progressed to a firm positive, just passed the point when the tests started turning negative after the CP and I'm trying not to worry and just enjoy it now. Booked an early scan next week to hopefully put my mind at ease so hopefully things are looking up this time

Spotting started here signalling the start of AF. I always feel like all that time spent trying, obsessing, testing, symptom spotting I spend so much time on it all and it’s so disappointing, every month I think this will be the month.

@Ttcafterlosses completely know what you mean. Feel like I gave it my all this month but AF got me!

Hey @teampacey im doing ok! Last cycle really knocked me as had hoped so much after the CP to conceive quickly again.

This cycles been a bit odd tbh. Got my positive opk right at the predicted time but with hardly any EWCM. However, from 3dpo I’ve had very watery and similar to EWCM discharge ??

How are you? Any symptoms?

Im testing fri which will be 9dpo 🤞🏻

Hi currently 13/12dpo and got my bfp 2 days ago. Didn’t catch the cycle after cp either I was very disappointed.
I had watery discharge 5-8dpo this time and I’m currently pregnant but very early days.

Im really hoping the change in CM is a sign for me. Last month I remember being completely dry after Ov. This time is like I’ve wet myself (grim, sorry). Like enough to soak through my leggings!

Only thing odd is I wear a Fitbit and have for years. Usually my resting HR goes up after ovulation but this time it’s going down?!

@ToeBeans24 thank you trying to remain calm afraid to get to excited as I had the cp at 5weeks. Currently 3w6d, very early days.

I never noticed cm before really. It was my main symptom I found it very strange (couldn’t not notice it) thinking I peed myself or af started very early on. I googled everything and apparently it’s a sign.
So fingers crossed you get your bfp soon also!

I didn’t test to 10/11 dpo very faint line on Clearblue and just got digital there now 1-2 weeks. Hopefully this is your month also!

Thanks so much @Nbaby I’ve googled and some say it’s normal some say it’s not. But I’m certain this is an increased amount and never seen the jelly type CM post ov before.

Did your CM stop at 8dpo?

@ToeBeans24 I’m still having some cm but not as much was it was for them few days . Still more than I notice any other time.

being an obsessive tester to make sure lines don’t fade not that it will stop it from happening hard to relax but so far so good 🤞 thank you keep us updated, are you planning on testing soon? Have you any other symptoms?

I had a dizzy spell and palpitations last night (7dpo) and CM continued to be very present and very watery yesterday.

My Fitbit resting HR has randomaly gone down this month after ov. Lowest was 6&7dpo so I’m really really praying that was implantation and it’s back up by 1bpm today.

It’s the only cycle it’s gone down after ov though. Normally continues going up then crashes back down during or at the start of AF.

My CM seems to have been odd this cycle in addition to my hear rate. Hardly any EWCM this month but did get a positive OPK around the usual time. Praying ! X

Oh and I plan to test tomorrow at 9dpo @Nbaby 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻

I think I'm out, still bfn at 11dpo and some spotting today. Period due on Sunday

Oh no @teampacey so sorry 😔 unless it’s IB but I always try to hang on to hope. I’m already feeling sad that I’m potentially out this month. No real reason just don’t feel any diff really other than the random CM and a bit of nausea today x

Hope you don't mind me joining? I had a miscarriage in January then a CP this month, finished bleeding a few days ago and planning on trying again this month. See what happens
I feel really nervous its such a weird feeling
I also had my routine thyroid bloods done and although "normal" I believe my TSH is above ideal number for conceiving so going to speak to the GP
Just feel helpless and so hopeful it's a weird place to be right!

Welcome @Eatsleepbakerepeat ! Sorry for your losses. Did you request the bloods or did the GP just do them? I’ve not informed GP of my previous loss or continued TTC. Wonder if I should or request bloods?

Caved at tested this aft at 8dpo and bfn 😔😢
