Thought I’d make a new thread for those of us Ttc in February 2024. I know some of us will cross over from end of Jan to Feb! Wishing everyone all the luck ✨❤️

@RW269 @KittyFantastica me tooooo... im pleased we have buddies in this! Weve agreed to keep DTD in case the clearblue was wrong, so im convincing myself the TWW doesnt start until Tuesday even though i know i have ovulated today (had mild cramps and loads of EWCM so it matches the stick).

I've got no tests in the house and planning on keeping it that way until at least the 12th...

I've obsessed every month in the TWW to an unhealthy extent so for my mental health im going to chuck myself into work fully. Got a week of fairy tea parties and kitchen discos planned with DD, and going to clear out my kitchen cupboards of doom when she's asleep. Im muting the flo app from tomorrow so i dont get the notifications... also got my friend on standby for our long awaited night out if AF does show... xx

@KittyFantastica ooo what are you going to knit?!

@ButterflySkies sooo easy to get unhealthily obsessed about it. We’re considering dtd tomorrow for good luck as well incase of a late one but the apps said it was yesterday and I felt off like usual so here’s hoping haha!
that sounds like some good plans you’ve got their! Especially the fairy parties haha!

Sounds like the three of us will all be finding out same time, my AF is due 13th but last month I think I took tests from like 8 days before and it was horrible so I’m banning myself until day before at least too 😂 wish I could take one now and know already!

@RW269 @KittyFantastica how about we make a little TWW buddy pact and no one tests before the 12th at the earliest? And anyone else just entering the TWW feel free to join us! @meepthebeep are you just in the TWW too?

Because my prolactin was a bit high last month and it was a CP, I have told myself that the stress is not helping the process so hopefully that thought alone is enough to help me stay firm and not test... i that say now with about 14 days to go 😂 x

Had some funny pinchy/stabby cramps last night in the shower, just to the left and slightly below my navel, and I feel/felt kind of hungry-sick this morning. I’m definitely imagining these things on some level, because I’m only 3DPO, but we’ll see, I guess 🤷🏻‍♀️😊

I was convinced I was out since no symptoms so the night before had drunk some wine, eaten a small dogs sized amount of Brie, and had gotten my nails done.

Absolutely, I'm in! If I have the same symptoms I had last time, I might have to test day 12 as we are going away the day my period is due and I'll need to know for sure.

@RW269 I have a lot of scrap to use up, so socks, hats and hand warmers! I'm desperate to look at baby patterns but it seems like tempting fate.

Absolutely stress is such a hard thing to keep at bay. We all need to be the mellowest of mellow! Haha

@RW269 My Nan taught me when I was a kid but I didn't really pick it up again until lockdown. It's my therapy now!

I found out last month, four days before my chemical, that my company are probably making my role redundant so stress is something I'm worrying about a lot this time. Hopefully the knitting will help!

@KittyFantastica Awwh that’s nice you’ve came back to it when you’re older! Lockdown ended up being my reading time haha!
Oh I’m so sorry to hear about the possibility of redundancy that is super stressful. Definitely a lot of focus on relaxing! I hope the redundancy doesn’t go through for you/if it does you find something that makes you happy!

Hi ladies 3dpo for me and it’s dragggging!! This is the first month I feel that there’s even a slight chance of a BFP so I’ve got a lot of expectations. Trying to lower them considerably but it’s so difficult not to get my hopes up!

My boobs are way less sore today and I have that low draggy feeling so I'm sure I'm going to start AF (2 days late). Have been to the toilet about 10 times this morning and still no blood/lots of thin white discharge and still no temp drop. Wish I knew what was going on! I haven't tested since Monday (11DPO) as I'm too scared of seeing another BFN.

@ceruleansky that’s so kind of you, thank you. I took a break from the boards as I decided it wasn’t doing me much good mentally. Since then I got signed off to try again officially by Charing Cross since the molar and I got a positive test last week the day my period was due (didn’t test before then) BUT I’m 95% sure I’ve started to miscarry now 😭 sorry to bring the thread down, I hope it’s been a lucky one! How are you doing??

@ceruleansky going to EPAU tomorrow as it was the earliest they could see me but just did an easy at home test and not even a sniff of a positive (though I’ve had a lot to drink today it should have shown something I think?). EPAU basically told me there’s probably going to be nothing to see but they’ll do some bloods given medical history. TMI but if it is then it’s not like the miscarriage I had before it seems…slower but I’ll see what they say tomorrow. I’m glad you’re doing well!

I feel really down today, like i could burst into tears! Been super clumsy and tensions are high at work, plus babies and baby chat absolutely everywhere, feel like I just have a knowing feeling this is not our month (again!).

One of the key workers at nursery said my DD said she was waiting patiently for her baby and she would like a sister. Someone well meaning but with zero social skills at work explaining why two kids are better than one and that i needed to get on it because you're more fertile with a smaller age gap... what the actual f was my response in my head! And someone bought their newborn into the office...

Is a post ovulation down day normal? First time I've had one. Annoyingly nursery let DD have a two hour nap so she's totally hyper, and I just want to sit and cry!

@ButterflySkies so sorry you’ve had a tough day 😔🫂 I can completely empathise with a bit of a post-ov come-down - I wonder if it’s because, when we were in our fertile windows, we could do something about it, but now it’s the TWW, we just have to wait and it’s out of our hands.

@ButterflySkies sorry you've had a bit of a rubbish day. If it's any consolation I've been miserable as sin all day and been ratty with my innocent junior colleague as well as husband. Felt bad, apologised and then cried. Topped off crap day with a stark BFN so consoling myself with chocolate buttons 😆

I know I'm not out til AF arrives but I have sneaking suspicion I'm onto cycle 18 🫠

Hi Ladies Hopefully it's not too late to join in I am coming to the end of this cycle and should be seeing AF soon. Then the tracking begins. Is there anyone else about to start would love to find a sanity buddy lol.

Sorry to hear that @CLazz92 - you arent out til AF shows so fingers crossed!! Lucky cycle 17 hopefully lovely. The mood ups and downs are so intense arent they.

That makes sense @meepthebeep - i think i am desperately trying to put some control round the process and maybe it is the fact I know it's now out of my hands.

I'm under a blanket now with a healthy fake hot chocolate, am avoiding non-essential g&ts atm though I do wish it was one 😂, then it's a new day tomorrow and hopefully a more positive one!

It’s totally normal to feel like this though, I’m always fighting this thought too! Constantly got my mil asking when she will have a grandchild (doesn’t know we’re trying) and every time in my head I’m like 😫😫😫)
very insensitive though with the comments being made to you especially at work where you should be able to just focus on that. Here’s hoping for a super cheerful Thursday tomorrow! X

So my monitor says high today cd8 which is unusual for me as it means ovulation is on its way however I normally don't get ovulation till cd15/16 so I'm thinking it's gonna be early this month. Perhaps the accupuncture has done something to me. Also I usually get low then a sudden peak rather than a gradual as in only 1 high day then straight to peak. I also have a massive back ache which I'd put down to perhaps getting the illness all my colleagues have gone down with like a flu. ( work with children 3 months to 3 years so we get everything going) anyway just thought I'd update you have a good day ladies. Pic attached

@ceruleansky and @ButterflySkies thank you both so much for your kind thoughts! its definitely not good news - had a lot more bleeding and a negative test today so I want to push EPAU today on whether they think I’ll be accepted to the recurrent loss clinic 🤞🏻I was incredibly upset last night while mix of emotions but today I feel sort of at peace with it (sort of). Until they tell me at EPU the molar doesn’t count and I have to have another 2 miscarriages first 🤣🤣
