Thought I’d make a new thread for those of us Ttc in February 2024. I know some of us will cross over from end of Jan to Feb! Wishing everyone all the luck ✨❤️

One day late today and felt just off all day at work.

No other symptoms just felt ugh. Me and the darling husband haven’t stopped giggling.

We DTD last night and managed a lunch break together...! Think im going to continue to DTD this week just to cover all bases...

@ButterflySkies I'm due for AF on 10th Feb according to Clue (I don't think it has updated well as I'm ovulating later than usual on day 16) and 13th Feb on Flo and Premom. I'm really hoping the latter two are correct and my luteal phase isn't too short.

Fingers crossed for BFPs to celebrate that week!

Reporting for duty for the February TTC club. I am on CD5, this is our second cycle of trying but first one using OPKs and apps so hope we give ourselves a good chance. Predicted ovulation day of Feb 8th.

@meepthebeep sorry i meant to reply - oh no thats not what you want! Get the pessary done and hopefully it will be cleared up in 12-24 hours... you won't be out the game too long then! i had it badly intermittently throughout my last pregnancy but it always cleared up quickly, and i remember being told to dial down sugar in take when i had a flare up x

Morning all!
Still no AF for me but had a temp drop from 38.1 to 37 this morning so although that's still higher than my usual baseline I'm taking to mean it will come soon. Have banned myself from testing til Friday regardless. Hope everyone is ok!

Thanks @orangeoctupus and @ButterflySkies - I wouldn’t know where to start with at home insemination and unfortunately I’ve missed the end of my window now, but I’m OK with it 🙂 we still DTD every other day in my fertile window including static smilie day, until the thrush happened, so what will be will be, and it was only our first month trying again.

The pessary seems to have done its thing and everything is a lot more comfortable now, so now I’m just into the 2WW 🙂

I checked back on my Flo app and we DTD three times in my fertile window in September which is when we conceived the pregnancy which ended in MMC, so it could still happen 🤷🏻‍♀️ just a waiting game now, we’ll see 🙂

Morning all! Currently on CD9... DTD yesterday... apparently ovulating this weekend so going to try DTD as much as we can this week/weekend!

Just one thing... maybe a bit TMI... but how the heck do people deal with the... clean up!? I just awkwardly lie there and then it just falls out as soon as i stand up and I'm like ???? How do people do this 🤣😅

@KittyFantastica You’ve given me hope as i don’t seem to get a peak on the opk so wondered if i’m ovulating at all. I’ve had peaks on the clear blue but wasn’t sure it was accurate.

Now I don’t know how I feel about opk’s as using them stresses me out.

@ButterflySkies Im also due aunt flow on the 14th Feb, here’s hoping she never arrives though!

No flashing or peak yet which means flo has my ovulation wrong as it has it as today. I was only using flo dates but started pre mom this month and it has ovulation on the 1st so will see if that’s more accurate.

CD10 today and still getting low on the strip OPKs this morning, but going to start DTD tonight regardless. Expect my peak around CD16 based on last month's first attempt, so we'll see if it matches up. Starting the CB advanced sticks today now I'm a bit closer, first one is always a circle.

@WonderingAboutBabies lay on a towel, or get the tissues ready....lots of tissues. I've also just been laying with my hips up on an old pillow for 15 mins post DTD. I know it's a old wives tail but still trying to keep as many swimmers in as possible...only takes one! The pillow will be binned and not slept on ever again haha.

@Czzpop that's interesting that you've noticed Flo is off. Flo seems way off with predicting mine each month. It has me down as ovulating barely a week after the end of my period, but I always have long cycles (31 days +) so that would make my luteal phase insanely long. I've been getting ewcm about a week after Flo predicts my ovulation date.

I wonder how it calculates these things.

@Czzpop I've only got a peak on OPKs from around 10:30 onwards, never before then. I couldn't understand why they were all so pale. Yesterday, it went from 0.48 to 1.9 in the space of two and a half hours. I'd have never got a peak unless I tested again later in the morning. I also made sure not to drink anything between first and second wee to make sure there was enough hormone building to really test.

But yeah, although we can do everything possible to pin it down, it can still evade us! It's all possible and that's what we have to hold on to.

@WonderingAboutBabies lots of tissue on standby!! Haha. I tend to lay down as quickly as possible and pop some tissue over the area shortly followed by a swift waddle to the bathroom 😂 oh the glamour of ttc!!

I'm glad it's not just me with the apps telling me different things..I'm CD13 today, Flo predicts O day as the 3rd and pre mom predicts the 8th!

I've just done a OPK strip and the line is already getting dark so I imagine I will get my peak either today or tomorrow so that's completely thrown me off! Last month I didn't ovulate until CD21/22. We've only DTD once this cycle so far and that was 3 days ago...I think we better get going today 😂. Glad I was testing otherwise we could've missed it completely if I was to go by the apps predictions 🫣

@KittyFantastica Didn’t think about not having fluids for a time period as i’m always chugging water during the day so will pay a bit more attention and hold off before doing an opk… crazy how things can change so much in a matter of hours. I’ve been driving myself mad with these opk’s even got a blood test to check i have ovulated but that needs to be done closer to when my period is due so will go ahead and confirm to put my mind at rest.

@CLazz92 hate that i’ve only been relying on flo dates for months, it’s a mystery how the dates vary so much & would love to know how it’s calculated too. Indeed, hope is what we have to hold on to.

Aaaand the tww has begun for me! Gonna continue dtd incase I’m late ovulating..Gonna follow suit like some of you with the ovulation sticks next month if it hasn’t worked this month!
Anyone got any good tips on things to distract for two weeks? 😂

@RW269 I'll be joining you. Ovulation day for me today, so we will have one more of tomorrow and then that's it.

I have a feeling I'm going to get a LOT of knitting done to keep my mind occupied.
